Stayed for work for over ten weeks great place to stay.

A perfect short break in lovely accommodation close to the sea. We would almost certainly return if visiting the area again.

Really nice apartment and excellent host. The apartment felt very comfortable. The couch could be upgraded, but the bed was really comfy. Liked the style of the apartment too. Probably not an issue for most, but there are some steps to go up to get to the apartment which is on the first floor. There was a minor issue that came up and the host quickly responded and got it corrected. He even got us some extra things we asked for right away. I really think he wants you to have a good experience there. As for the location, it is very close to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, and public transportation. The bus stop is a short distance away that takes you to the tourist areas. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location in the old town with easy walking access to Portsmouth and Southsea. Our host was great at communicating in advance and checking in by messages on arrival. I can confirm the parking space is accessible - but it takes patience getting into it - much easier when you leave though!

Great location, excellent communication, the door is electronic which is very good for those who lose keys, I would stay here again. I recommend it.

lovely to stay here again. as before everything was perfect. needed extra plates as feeding daughter. they were left together with an additional baking tray and greaseproof paper (very thoughtful). Great communication and look forward to staying again soon. our go to when staying in Portsmouth. excellent host.

Amazing place. Even better than expected. Great location. Stunning views from the apartment. Apartment was clean, nicely decorated, had everything we needed in it and some extra touches that were very much appreciated. Well worth the money. Would definitely go back/recommend to others.

Thanks to Wendy and Barry for a lovely stay at The Hideaway. It is a delightful little place and they have thought of every practical thing needed for a comfortable stay, including some welcome treats! We have no hesitation in recommending The Hideaway for a break in Hampshire.

Amazing place to stay, my partner and I found the location really easily. Paul would always respond in a timely manor and overall was a great experience!

The Coach Barn is small but perfectly formed! We stayed there while visiting family in the area, and enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The place was spotless, and had everything you might need. With four of us staying, the sofa bed was pre-made up when we arrived (avoiding a post-travel argument with the other half about how to get the bed out!). It was very warm, but as an upstairs flat in a mini heatwave, that was expected! We flung all the windows open, and the gated rural location allowed us some security to have them open all night for ventilation. It's a great little place, and we would be happy to visit again.

Lovely clean apartment right at the heart of the historic dock yards. The area was very quiet so you did not realise you are in the city. Quick 5 min walk and you are at the historic dockyard and 10 mins to the gunwarf Quay which has loads of shops, places to eat and a cinema. We had an issue with the hot water one morning, within minutes of messaging Paul responded and arranged for maintenance to come out to fix the problem. They had their own key to access so we could enjoy the day and came back to warm water. This place is perfect for a base to explore the area as you have your own parking space and access to public transport including trains, buses and ferries. We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Lucy our host made us feel right at home the minute we arrived. Very comfortable accommodation and an enjoyable walk away from the beach. Thank you Lucy for a most wonderful stay! Bear loved it too 🐾

The host and his family are all nice helpful people. The area is also nice with shops nearby. Maybe just check with the host about parking, becquse we were not sure where we can park. Nice stay.

Rhiannon's flat was everything we wanted for our trip to Portsmouth. Nearby the sea front and our niece who we were visiting. The flat had everything we needed, and was nice and spacious. Rhiannon was a great host, easy to contact, friendly and kind (especially as we think our young son hid her remote control, which we couldn't find!) Thanks Rhiannon!

A fabulous place! I stayed with my wife and two children (4 and 2) and couldn’t recommend it more. The accommodation was perfect, it’s private, quiet, clean and has everything you need. A well organised pool house, with a kitchen and clean amenities you need. The pool and hot tub was a great addition that the children loved. The house is set in a quiet residential area that was perfect for exploring Winchester and Paultons/Peppa Pig World. Stephanie and her husband were attentive, polite and communicative if we needed anything. Made the 3 nights stay very easy, enjoyable and relaxing. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay, the access to the sister hotel’s facilities including indoor and outdoor pools was fabulous and it was very well situated between the beach and the high street right next to the beautiful chine. Loved the Isle with its beautiful botanical gardens, beaches and dinosaur fossils to explore!

What a lovely place and lovely hosts. The bed was so comfortable we slept more than usual, unless it was the lovely relaxing hot tub that tired us. The welcome food and treats and wine was very generous and very welcome. It was a very quiet and relaxing area. We stayed for 6 nights and would highly recommended

What a wonderful stay, there was lots of instructions so you know exactly how to use everything. The kitchen was well equipped and there was instructions on how to use the microwave/ oven. The location was brilliant, lots of things to do around and a quick walk to the beach. The host has really thought of everything. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at The Gate. The accommodation was well presented and located in a perfect location, very easy to get around and within minutes to the beach. This was particularly great as it is walking distance we managed to convince the kids for all of us to go for morning swims(the weather was great so that helped too). Emma(the host) provided all the information we required so everything was super easy to find in the house. Emma also recommended some fantastic places to eat and dine which we loved. We particularly loved the Travelling Tavern once again within minutes of the house which is great for families and has live music a few days of the week. All around a Great place to stay with a Great Host and a Great location to visit.
