Monika and family were great hosts. The apartment was perfectly placed to explore all the lovely places to eat and visit in Portsmouth. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and had all you could need to be comfortable. Monika and her family made the whole process very easy, they were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again :)

I was lucky to find Danny's place - perfect for a short stay in Portsmouth. A small studio flat between larger buildings on the road. It was quiet on the week nights I stayed but is right next to the main road with lots of amenities. The flat is bigger inside than you think its going to be! Fantastic use of space so you still get a decent size bedroom, small breakfast table, well equipped slim cupboard/wardrobe (I was grateful for the iron and ironing board!), well equipped small kitchen and bathroom. Beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished so I felt really at home and wished I could have spent longer there. Lots of things provided for my stay that I needed but wasn't expecting (including a bottle of prosecco and ice cubes in the fridge - lovely touch) and a super responsive and flexible host, which really helped me, as I was attending a conference at the Historic Dockyard. Will definitely be booking again for leisure rather than work!

Had a lovely few days in Gosport for a sailing course staying at the Creamery. Karen was really responsive helpful and friendly. The property was lovely and everything seemed new clean and fresh. Easy to self check in with the lockbox but Karen was happy to meet us there even though we arrived quite late. There are shops etc within walking distance and we didn't need to use the car at all. You can walk down to the waterfront and catch the ferry across to Portsmouth. Even though we were close to town it felt quite peaceful. Thanks for a nice stay.

Really nice apartment and excellent host. The apartment felt very comfortable. The couch could be upgraded, but the bed was really comfy. Liked the style of the apartment too. Probably not an issue for most, but there are some steps to go up to get to the apartment which is on the first floor. There was a minor issue that came up and the host quickly responded and got it corrected. He even got us some extra things we asked for right away. I really think he wants you to have a good experience there. As for the location, it is very close to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, and public transportation. The bus stop is a short distance away that takes you to the tourist areas. Would definitely stay here again.

Thanks to Wendy and Barry for a lovely stay at The Hideaway. It is a delightful little place and they have thought of every practical thing needed for a comfortable stay, including some welcome treats! We have no hesitation in recommending The Hideaway for a break in Hampshire.

Excellent host. Kept me up to date with what was happening. Great communication, very clean house and well sorted for a week stay. Would recommend.

Luke’s place was great. Stayed the night before a ferry crossing to France. All easy and simple and had everything that was needed. Thank you 🙏

Always a cosy and warm stay at spring gardens. Was especially nice getting in from the cold weather to the lovely warm flat. Would recommend to anyone exploring the area.

Exceeded expectations. I was expecting a small place but it was not! Very comfortable and some nice treats on arrival that were most appreicated. Its a quiet suburban area, a good base for exploring Arundel etc.

Lovely modern decor, spotlessly clean. Sue was very welcoming and friendly and responded quickly to messages. We would stay again.

A perfect short break in lovely accommodation close to the sea. We would almost certainly return if visiting the area again.

Great location in Gosport in walking distance to many interesting places. Great apartment for our needs with 2 kids and a parent visiting friends in the area.

This was the second time I have stayed at Ellie’s lovely flat. I’m already planning to come back next year (which I think tells you all you need to know)! If you want to stay in Southsea you will struggle to find a better location.

Fabulous central location in Old Portsmouth with the front of the apartment looking directly onto the cathedral, rear, the sea. Lots to do in Old Portsmouth, the hot walls and seafront one minute walk. Central Southsea a short walk. Lovely face to face check in with Karen. Great having everything provided for breakfast! Loved it and will be back 😊 Loved it and will be back.

We had a lovely stay The area is peaceful, the Common is within a few steps a beautiful green area with woodland walks and wide open space to meet up with friends a short walk to a sainsburys if needed Chip shop and indian restaurant too not forgetting The Bellemoor tavern with plenty of space outside to eat

We've been to Alan's a few times now and he is always very welcoming and friendly. We had a nice peaceful three days and thanks again Alan.

Our host was very welcoming. She enabled us to make full uninhibited use of the facilities in her home. She paid attention to our potential needs and adapted to them in a considerate manner. Access to garden space and having a room facing it were beneficial, making the stay quiet. The parking space was a bonus and particularly important for us. We are familiar with the location; it proved to be better than we had anticipated. Local amenities were close by.

A fabulous place! I stayed with my wife and two children (4 and 2) and couldn’t recommend it more. The accommodation was perfect, it’s private, quiet, clean and has everything you need. A well organised pool house, with a kitchen and clean amenities you need. The pool and hot tub was a great addition that the children loved. The house is set in a quiet residential area that was perfect for exploring Winchester and Paultons/Peppa Pig World. Stephanie and her husband were attentive, polite and communicative if we needed anything. Made the 3 nights stay very easy, enjoyable and relaxing. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay, the access to the sister hotel’s facilities including indoor and outdoor pools was fabulous and it was very well situated between the beach and the high street right next to the beautiful chine. Loved the Isle with its beautiful botanical gardens, beaches and dinosaur fossils to explore!

What a lovely place and lovely hosts. The bed was so comfortable we slept more than usual, unless it was the lovely relaxing hot tub that tired us. The welcome food and treats and wine was very generous and very welcome. It was a very quiet and relaxing area. We stayed for 6 nights and would highly recommended

Was definitely the ‘Place to be’! Comfortable room in a central area of Southsea (Portsmouth) . 10 mins walk to the seafront and D-day museum and 15 mins walk Fratton train station. Close to supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. Thank you so much for been so accommodating. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Southsea and would love to stay again!!

What a wonderful stay, there was lots of instructions so you know exactly how to use everything. The kitchen was well equipped and there was instructions on how to use the microwave/ oven. The location was brilliant, lots of things to do around and a quick walk to the beach. The host has really thought of everything. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at The Gate. The accommodation was well presented and located in a perfect location, very easy to get around and within minutes to the beach. This was particularly great as it is walking distance we managed to convince the kids for all of us to go for morning swims(the weather was great so that helped too). Emma(the host) provided all the information we required so everything was super easy to find in the house. Emma also recommended some fantastic places to eat and dine which we loved. We particularly loved the Travelling Tavern once again within minutes of the house which is great for families and has live music a few days of the week. All around a Great place to stay with a Great Host and a Great location to visit.
