Sunndach Pod. Cozy Secluded Wildlife Coast Getaway

Luxury self-catering pod, situated in the village of Portuairk on the Ardnamurchan peninsula on Scotland’s west coast. Fully equipped, warm and comfortable offering tranquillity and privacy. Feel immersed in the surrounding habitat of wild flowers, birds and wildlife from the veranda. Admire the wild volcanic landscape and breathe in the Atlantic sea breeze. One minute’s walk to the sea shore where you have stunning views of the Inner Hebridean Islands, and on a clear day, the Outer Isles.

Muin Shepherd Hut is complete with: 2kw Shower (2 minutes of hot water/5 minutes to re-heat) toilet, sink, Belfast sink, fridge, ceramic hob, Air Fryer, underfloor heating, wood burning stove, TV, Double bed with King size duvet, large decked area, enclosed private garden (dog friendly) and views over to the Isles of Mull and Coll and onwards out over the Atlantic Ocean. Throw in the odd sea eagle that visits us, red deer abound, pine martins, otters and the dolphins playing off the pier!!

Gometra Teacher's Bothy

VERY BASIC REMOTE BEAUTIFUL BUT NOT LUXURIOUS bothy in an idyllic situation 5 mins walk from sea. Bring own bedding and cooking stove. Basic pots crockery cutlery etc provided. Indoor toilet, indoor bath heated by solid fuel stove. Wood can be bought for £13 a bucket and will be left for you to use if you want. Suits kayakers, experienced hillwalkers and island baggers. Please see reviews for more feedback. No Ulva ferry on Saturday, and on Sunday only in June, July & August.

Its peaceful location and idyllic surroundings offer a perfect getaway for those wanting to experience the West Highlands at its best. It’s a traditional cosy little cottage featuring underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. It’s tastefully renovated, comfortably furnished and well equipped with hopefully everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay.

The cosy Shepherd's Hut combines the best of past traditions with the comfort of today. Inside is everything you need for a comfortable cosy night's sleep, but still with enough space to relax during the day. Eigg is a beautiful island with spectacular beaches, wildlife, archaeological sites, interesting geology and a vibrant island community. The island is very popular with landscape and wildlife photographers.

Mill House Steading is a contemporary conversion of a historic barn into a 2 bedroom architect designed home. The balcony overlooks the burn with views across the Sound of Mull to Tobermory. See countryfile series17 episode 7 to see the beauty of the landscape around us. The bay is perfect for watersports. The renovation was completed in March 2020 and provides stunning accommodation.
