What a great place to stay! James is so nice and helpful. He was proactive in getting instructions to us before our trip and answered texts promptly. The house is beautiful and just as pictured. The area is peaceful and quiet yet there are many things to do. Don’t hesitate to reserve James’ house for your next adventure.

This home was amazing and fantastic value. Fantastic thoughtful hosts . The backyard is a slice of heaven. The kayaks, paddle boards, fire pit, the games in the garage made it a perfect place for families. The lake is so clear and calm. The house is super clean and well stocked with all the things you need. Super quiet neighborhood great for long jogs with a trail. We enjoyed shipwreck hunting, taking the glass bottom boat in Alpena, a day trip to Mackinac island ( 1 1/2 hr) with fun stops in other towns on the way back, trails on the shore , and exploring lighthouses . Tips : Walmart for a pickup on the way to make meals as there is not much to eat close by. Woodys and Portage were great. I would do extra groceries at Portage as they even have a deli with sandwich’s . Skip the birch store as it is more of a boutique gift store . Grilling on the porch ,eating by the lake ,sunset canoe trips , and s’more making made a trip we will never forget:) Perfect house to visit upper Michigan

My wife and I enjoyed the stay at the Grand Lake location immensely. We would highly recommend. Property was very well maintained, clean, and has every amenity imaginable.

Mitch was an absolute amazing host and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for an Ice fishing trip! If you love to fish and need a heated garage this is the place for you!
