Great and peaceful location with wonderful 2nd floor porch. We had beautiful hikes at Swallow Falls State Park, and the Rock Maze in Garrett State Forest--both a short drive into MD. If we had stayed longer, we would have tried the put-put golf and kayak rental. My only suggestion is that if you plan to cook much bring bigger knives and a big cutting board. For our visit we only found two paring knives and one tiny cutting board. It wasn't a big deal, just made cooking a big more of challenge. All else in kitchen was worked fine. Tony, the host, was very responsive and helpful.

Staying here was an absolutely peaceful and relaxing experience. From the minute we arrived we felt more than at home, it was perfectly clean and felt very cozy. The extra touches of complimentary cinnamon swirl bread, popcorn and much more made for a very relaxing experience. It was great to spend some much needed time away hiking in some of the local parks. Mountaineer House was conveniently located for my family’s needs. Beds and living room furniture were comfortable. Lots of wonderful WVU Mountaineer memorabilia on walls, but none of us felt it was overdone. Since it had recently snowed, the walking paths to the deck & front door had been shoveled as well as areas in front of the deck/porch doors. The home gave me a part of my family memories in Kingwood back to me. The WV snow was an extra treat.

We had a great long weekend here. Great place for families and the cabin was great for our 2 little kids. They loved the bunk beds and all the outdoor activities. Kayla and Carmen are very helpful and responsive to any and all of my messages to them. Would definitely come back again!

Absolutely one of the best Airbnb stays we have ever had. Chris’s home in The Whitewater Preserve is stunning, spotless, and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. The beds are extremely comfortable. We slept better than we have in years, falling asleep to the calming sound of the Big Sandy River right outside. Every detail in the home is thoughtfully designed to make guests feel at home. Great communication from the host, easy check-in, and an easy, accommodating check-out that made our departure stress-free. The peaceful location close to nature made it even better. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable stay in beautiful Bruceton Mills, West Virginia. We will absolutely be back.

Robin's place is cozy and comfortable. The space was spotlessly clean! Robin was quick to respond with any questions or concerns and checked in to make sure everything was ok. It is near a road intersection with a certain amount of noise, but it is a rural area, so there is not too much traffic. It was a good location for exploring the area.

This was by far the best air b and b experience I have had! The host was super friendly, gave good hiking recommendations, and was so accommodating letting us do a later check out! The cabins location was beautiful and just what we were looking for. The inside was super clean and very well maintained. You can tell it’s important to Shelly for guests to have a great experience. Everything was in super good condition and very homey feeling. I can’t say enough great things about this place! It was local to some great hiking spots but out enough for the peace and quiet we were looking for. I would recommend this place as a must stay! I am so grateful to have had such a wonderful weekend here!
