A perfect place to get away from the city buzz. It's like taking a time machine back 40 years. The simplicity of living close to nature with the family around and no deadline to chase. Sad we could not stay forever but will be back soon.

Danie and Narina are lovely guests, very easy to communicate with, very nice and accomodating. Their place is something special, in the middle of « nowhere », horizon as far as the eye can see, you can see the sunset and the moon rising at the same time, and their place is very well equipped ! The road to arrive is quite long and the wind can wake you up while you sleep but that’s part of the trip ! We recommend

I booked the accommodation for a couple of weeks in a row for my colleagues who needed to do a project in areas in and around Prince Albert. Every week the guys ask me to book with Elize again. They really enjoyed their stay there, especially the roof terrace. They had everything that they needed to make their stay super comfortable. Elize is also a lovely, friendly person and it was a pleasure to engage with her. I'll defiantly book with Elize again when my colleagues are headed that way again!

A great location with peaceful views onto the farm and comfortable sitting and eating out spaces. An eclectic and interesting collection of implements and objects bring character and interest to the home. All very well appointed. Good books available and lovely spaces to read them… we would have loved to have stayed for longer… it is ideally situated for restaurants and places of interest in Prince Albert.

This property truly surpasses the photos. Beautifully decorated with a wide selection of art, books, crockery, fabrics, glassware , etc. We especially loved the main bedroom, which feels like a lush greenhouse, full of greenery. Every corner of the property is thoughtfully decorated and impeccably maintained. We highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates design and nature.

One word to describe this place and home, ZEN! Beautiful home with a welcoming feel. Relaxing atmosphere at the pool and walking the labyrinth was so calming for the mind! We loved our stay, and Ampie our host was really wonderful, welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed the restaurant “De Krans” close by. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay, perfectly situated as a half way point for our trip to Cape Town. Karen was lovely and communicated throughout, being able to order dinner for the evening was a nice touch and the lamb was great. Thank you for having us

Good place to stay! We do recommend tomake a stop for couple of nights. I only wish the rooms would still have the deco they have on the pictures.

Great stopover for a road trip. The cottage’s are separate from the main building and felt private. Cottage was well equipped and spacious, allowing for a good relaxing evening

Christine place is absolutely gorgeous! Short walk to the river and our 2 furry friends enjoyed it so much. The kamma cottage is dog friendly and has an amazing patio to view the milky way We enjoyed our stay tremendously!

We had a wonderful stay in the little wooden cabin. Nestled in the mountains, it’s blissfully quiet — a perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life. We were truly spoiled by the fresh goat's milk that our hosts milked themselves each morning. This is true off-the-grid living, something both my wife and I are passionate about. There’s so much to learn from Marietjie and Sakie’s way of life. You’ll experience genuine Afrikaans hospitality, and our dog Basjan was warmly welcomed — which was our number one priority. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those seeking simplicity, peace, and authenticity.

This is one of those tough reviews to give as this is such a unique and amazing location that we'd rather it were kept a secret. So sshhhh. The unit itself is a very well appointed self-catering venue adjacent to a stunning little gallery. It's situated in beautiful little hamlet set amongst farms and mountains. The farm house is beautifully laid out to facilitate relaxation - whether it is time on the porch enjoying nature or unwinding on the couch with the fire going. A truly relaxing and peaceful break! The house was well kitted for practical living with everything we needed. We enjoyed the privacy of the three large, en-suite bedrooms and the secluded farm. My family and I had a wonderful stay at Sandra’s place, wished we had booked for longer. The place was clean and well furnished, with many thoughtful supplies such as basic BBQ supplies. Even though we had some initial difficulty in getting to the accommodation due to road conditions, Sandra and her husband were quick to respond and assist. The perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and to experience off-the-grid living. Highly recommended!
