Townhouse holiday rentals in Province of Como

We had a fantastic and memorable trip! The accommodation was private and the well fenced garden was very much appreciated by our dog. The mountain/valley view is just like the picture; breathtaking and peaceful. At least two official hiking trails are walkable directly from the accommodation and are very scenic with views of the surrounding lakes and mountains. We appreciated the little touches like the wall photos showing surrounding towns. It was nice to see the historical photos of the building and the investment made in the restoration and enhancement made in modernizing the building (while preserving its character). Not doable without a car, but I would say the same for Como in general. Parking at the accommodation was no issue.

L'appartamento corrisponde alle foto dell'annuncio e la pulizia è ottima. Molto comodo il garage da cui si accede direttamente all'abitazione. La posizione è ottima, soleggiata con vista panoramica sulle montagne di giorno e di sera si possono ammirare le stelle. Nelle vicinanze si possono raggiungere tutti i servizi necessari. Communication with Livio about check in and local recommendations was excellent. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to make some simple meals. The balcony view is absolutely stunning!! It's a quiet relaxing neighbourhood. We didn't have a car but it was a beautiful 45 min walk into the centre of Varenna and it was always easy to get taxis. We didn't have enough toilet roll and bought some extra but that was a minor issue. Would definitely recommend this apartment!

Maria's place is fantastic! You Can use grill, sun in the afternoos is shinig thru big windows. internet connection is fast and stable so You can work from home or watch Netflix. You Can use is as a proper seconda home. Maria is helpful and outgoing person. I can 100% recommend

Maria’s home was unbelievably spotless — truly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. She welcomed us with the kindest smile, even though we arrived late at 11pm. When we were caught off guard by a strike and unsure how to get back, she went above and beyond to come pick us up. She also thoughtfully shared all the best tips and info for Lake Como, which made our trip so much smoother. Her daughter is just as lovely — cheerful, kind, and full of sunshine. Staying with them felt like being welcomed into a warm and caring home 🥰

What a gorgeous place and incredible view! I loved this little non touristy town we stayed in so close to the ferries!

Tolle Unterkunft. Der Garten direkt am See ist unschlagbar. Wir konnten tolle MTB Touren unternehmen, danach im See baden und gut in den Restaurants essen. Wunderschöne Region und, last but not least: Luca ist ein toller und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, welcher immer Unterstützung bietet, wenn man diese möchte. Danke Luca!

If you are looking for an Air BnB with character, then this place is for you! We enjoyed our stay here over Christmas and were able to cook with ease as the Kichen had everything you might need, even the knives were sharp- which is not often the case with bnb’s. We were 4 adults and a child and the place was a really good size. The location is great if you are looking to explore the lake but you definitely need a car.

This place was very cozy and clean. The view was so beautiful from the terrace. Also the host Melissa was very friendly

Beautiful modern house with an amazing view and big garage. Great communication with the host. The location is perfect if you are by car. You have a little market 5min walk with the most necessary things. For everything else you need a car or have to walk down stairs to the coast for about 15-20min. The walk to the stairs is not perfect, since you have to walk 40-50m on the mainroad. Important to note also that you can hear everything word by word between the two bed rooms. We would definitely come again, because overall the house was great and the location perfect to discover como.

Wir haben eine Woche in der Unterkunft verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden! Die Aussicht auf den Lago di Como ist ein Traum, auch die Terasse und der nahe gelegene Strand! Es ist sehr ruhig, die anliegenden Häuser (3), waren selten besetzt und wenn dann auch von sehr ruhigen und freundlichen Personen. Die Unterkunft war sauber und insbesondere die neue Küche hat und sehr gut gefallen (neuer Herd, Waschmaschine inkl. Tumbler, sehr tolle Ausstattung - man findet alles was man braucht)! Praktisch mit Kleinkind: Ein separates Zimmer, welches sich abdunkeln lässt (Kinderzimmer). Die Kommunikation mit Elena war jederzeit sehr zuvorkommend ihrerseits, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Ein paar kleine Punkte: - Das Auto kann nicht direkt beim Haus abgestellt werden, was in unserem Fall (mit Baby) etwas umständlich war. - Das Untergeschoss der Wohnung ist - wenn es regnerisch ist - eher dunkel - Die Türen im Obergeschoss „quitschen / knarren“ - war für den Babyschlaf nicht optimal

On a passé un excellent séjour à Sala Comacina, la maison est très confortable et bien équipée, et la petite plage à côté est très pratique ! & La vue lac est aussi magnifique ! Rosie et Robbie qui parle bien français ont été très accueillants et nous ont donné de bons conseils. On espère y retourner prochainement ! Un bel endroit !

A beautiful house in a beautiful setting. 5 mins walk to the lake. Lenno is a lovely town and it's easy to commute to many if the other towns around the lake.

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Die Unterkunft entspricht exakt der Beschreibung, toller Blick auf den See, sehr sauber und großzüg geschnittenes Appartement. Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Strand usw fußläufig gut erreichbar. Vermieter hilft stets mit Tips und Ausflügsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir werden sicher nocheinmal kommen

Be sure to watch Joshua’s video to access the apt and parking. Lierna is quiet and beautiful and Joshua’s apartment was perfect for our group of 6, including 2 couples and 2 teens. We literally spent all our free time on the patio overlooking Lake Como. We had pizza delivered the first night, enjoyed espresso on the patio each morning, rented a boat one afternoon, had a very enjoyable aperativo at Alice Bar, and enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Il Crotto. We took the train to Lierna and a ferry to Villa del Balbianello - felt like royalty while walking the gardens. We ended the day in Varenna with a sunset dinner overlooking the lake. The apartment has a full kitchen and plenty of space to relax in, and our teens enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed every minute of our stay! We did not travel with a car and walked into town for coffee and meals and to catch the train - if you travel to Lierna without a car, be sure to wear sturdy shoes because the hills around Lake Como are quite steep.
