Villa holiday rentals in Province of Como

The house was gorgeous inside and outside. The view was even better than I thought. Very quiet and peaceful. The host was very helpful and responsive. The lift was helpful for me and husband so we didn’t have to go up and down the steps. The only thing I didn’t know about was the house was very close to other houses. I thought it was more seculuded. I would definitely stay there again.

Stefano’s villa was absolutely beautiful. Wonderful location, stunning views—the balcony was perfect for morning coffee. I highly recommend staying here. The house was spotless upon our arrival, communication was excellent, and check out was very easy. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay, it made the wedding so much easier.

Outstanding large flat with two balconies with 360 degree view or lake and city of Como, we almost didn’t go to town because it was amazing to just chill on the lounge chairs. Very clean, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Everything was just so thoughtful for travelers, including large supply of Neapolitan espresso with a real espresso machine. :) All windows with proper blinds and mosquito nets, AC/heating… Very comfortable bed, something we often are missing even in hotels. We didn’t lack anything and were warmly welcomed by Miranda and her team. 5 min by foot from the quiet neighborhood to the lakefront. Garage was perfect as we arrived by car.

Tolle Unterkunft

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in dieser Unterkunft! Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet, es fehlt wirklich an nichts – man merkt, dass hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet wurde. Alles war blitzsauber und sehr gepflegt. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns, wie viel Platz wir als Gruppe von 9 Personen hatten – und trotzdem hatte jeder genug Privatsphäre, um sich auch mal zurückzuziehen. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön und zum See ist es nur ein angenehmer Spaziergang von etwa 15 Minuten. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – wir haben uns super wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder☺️

Everything about the place and the hosts was great! The place has beautiful surroundings and you can explore the whole area very easily. It was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. Chiara and Stefan were very friendly and always responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there :)

Wow, wow, wow!. This place blew us away with its gorgeous lake and mountain views as well as its beautiful historic look and feel. Our hosts took care of everything we could need and were very responsive, even helping us find transportation one evening when we could not get a taxi in Varenna. Our group will be talking about this place for years to come because it was the absolute highlight of our trip. My recommendation would be to book this home because you won’t find a more beautiful location or more accommodating hosts.

The location of this villa was absolutely incredible! Waking up each morning to a quiet coffee on the terrace overlooking Lake Como felt like something out of a dream. The view was breathtaking and set the perfect tone for each day. With the town just a short walk away, we were able to explore local shops, restaurants, and the lakeside promenade with ease. The walk added just the right amount of exercise to feel refreshed without being tiring. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful, beautiful, and convenient place to stay—truly unforgettable.

We had a great stay at this beautiful and modern Airbnb. Since it’s new, everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The interior is stylish and well put together, and all the utensils and amenities were in perfect condition—everything we needed was there. The location is fantastic: just a short walk to the lake, lots of great restaurants nearby, and close to the train station, which made getting around very easy. We did have a small issue with the warm water and some of the lights, but the host was very responsive and had everything resolved quickly. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again if we were in the area!

We had a lovely stay in Oliveta Laria. I can't say enough good things about Marzia. She communicated well from the time of reservation through check-out and beyond. The house is beautiful, magnificent view and very private. Believe what she says about the driveway!! It is very steep and windy. Smaller cars much better. We had a large van and it was intimidating. The path through the woods to the town was nice. We would definitely rent from Marzia again!!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit Daniel seiner Unterkunft! Tolle Aussicht und tolles Haus. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist steil und hat kein Parkplatz, ist aber wenn man fit ist nicht wirklich schlimm. Das einzig negative ist das das Leitungswasser sehr trüb war und zum Teil dreckig. Sonst top! Danke für diese schöne Unterkunft, sehr zu empfehlen.

Erica è stata flessibile e disponibile ad ogni nostra esigenza e richiesta. Ci ha accolto di persona e guidati per questa bellissima casa tutta restaurata e conn un contrasto antico-moderno che fa sognare. La casa ha tutto ciò che può essere utile sia per cucinare che per organizzare un bel pranzo. Le stanze sono super accoglienti e spaziose: in 11 siamo stati comodissimi. Come in descrizione, la temperatura all'interno della casa è a 18°, ma può sembrare più bassa visto la dispersione e le basse temperature esterne a gennaio. L'acqua calda sembrava sparire dalla doccia per qualche secondo/minuto, ma torna con un chiudi e riapri. ANYWAY, siamo stati più che benissimo! Come a casa ed in questo meraviglioso spazio che consigliamo sicuramente per un getaway, un weekend in montagna e tra amici. Grazie Erica!

Sonia e Simone sono stati gentilissimi. Hanno preparato la colazione per noi 8 ragazzi entrambe le mattine e ci hanno dato svariati consigli su attività e luoghi da visitare. Consiglio la loro casa come alloggio per grandi gruppi di persone.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans le logement de Valerio. La maison est très grande , nous étions 2 familles, les deux logements indépendants étaient donc très pratique. La maison est proche du centre de Cernobbio accessible à 10 minutes à pied. Charmant village . On peut y prendre facilement le bateau pour visiter les villes autour du lac. La vue depuis la maison est agréable. Petit bémol pour le stationnement : nous avions un véhicule 9 places et il était très difficile de rentrer dans l’allée (largeur du portail étroite) et de faire demi tour. Autre point à revoir : nombreux meubles cassés : la banquette lit du salon a un pied en moins et était maintenue avec une pile de livres, lattes de lit également cassée et chaises aussi. Du mobilier extérieur aurait été appréciable car il fallait sortir la table de l’intérieur pour la mettre dehors. De même que quelques fauteuils d’extérieur pour profiter du parc et de l’ombre serait il plus. Nous recommandons cette adresse pour un séjour à Côme

Ambiente molto pulito e con ogni comfort. E' come sentirsi a casa. Ho apprezzato tutto... dalla biancheria morbida e profumata, alla terrazza dove è uno spettacolo mangiare, alla piscina per rinfrescarsi. Il papà di Katiuscia ogni mattina ci predisponeva ombrelloni e sdraio. Il posto è molto rilassante ed è un punto strategico per raggiungere bellissime località da visitare. Grazie per l'ospitalità! :-)

This property was incredible with absolutely stunning views that took our breath away. When you wake up, you can look out and see Bellagio across the lake, a truly unforgettable sight. The house is beautiful, spacious, and perfectly equipped for a group of eight. Deborah, the owner, was warm and helpful throughout our stay. The outdoor space was large and perfect for relaxing while soaking in the lake and mountain views. The location felt very safe and walkable, though it is on a hillside, so be ready for an uphill walk. The quiet, narrow roads and passage ways were great to explore. The walk can be a bit challenging, but the views make it more than worth it. Taxis are also easy to arrange if needed. Menaggio was the perfect place to stay, charming, peaceful, and a great base for exploring Lake Como. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this property.

We had a fantastic week’s stay in the Villa. The outdoor area are even better in person than they were in the pictures. It is set in a brilliant location, where we could get to the ferry station with a 20 minute walk. Stefania was a wonderful host. They checked in to make sure everything was ok and responded very promptly if we had any questions. Would highly recommend

The house looks good like on a picture. When we checked in , it was not cleaned up after previous guests, bus Susanne was responsive and organize quickly a cleaning lady and refund us cleaning fee . I’m satisfy with a stay. The only minus that you can’t park right in front of the house, might be uncomfortable if you carrying heavy things. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Wonderful private and gorgeous retreat high up on the hillside. RENT A CAR. We did, but only last minute and initially had planned to uber to and from the Airbnb both for arrival and departure as well as just day trips; this would have been a mistake, it is 12-14 minutes up the hill from the town. If you have a rental car and are comfortable driving up steep roads, it is a fun adventure and the views make it well worth the trek. The space itself is second to none. Gorgeous pool with million dollar views, several levels of terraces with sun chairs, outdoor eating areas, and the home itself is inviting and comfortable.

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday in this authentic villa and definitely hope to visit again in the future. The setting is wonderful with amazing views and beautiful garden. The villa is just as the photos show with its ‘old world’ charm with the benefit of modern air conditioning to use during hot weather. The swimming pool was a fabulous addition during the hot weather too and to relax in and beside the pool overlooking Lake Como was magical. Another real bonus was the private garage to park our car, however please note that if your car is long it may only just fit. We have a Peugeot 508 estate car and it fitted with 1cm to spare! Giovanni and his son Christian are great hosts. When we had some queries on arrival they answered our questions quickly. The village of Moltrasio was beautiful, we loved our time there exploring the old streets and sampling the delicious food at the local cafes and restaurants. The locals were so friendly and welcoming to us and our dog too.

Paolo’s place is a beautiful, quirky little cottage, the hot tub is a fantastic way to finish the day, it is very peaceful and private. The village (Erno) is very characteristic with its old cobble streets and church, it was perfect for my wife to take photos for teaching her art classes. The Como lake area has stunningly, beautiful scenery and the most fantastically fresh air. One note of advise is to check the annual Como rally car championship to see if it collides with your stay, as well as the bicycle tour of Italy, both were very thrilling to watch right at the bottom of the village, but they shut the roads down completely so there’s no way in or out, (this year it was October 12& 13), there are also no restaurants or shops near the village so a car is an absolute must.
