very pleasant garden. house large enough for 4 adults since we had 3 bedrooms. 1 couple and 2 singles. comfortable living room for the evening, breakfast in the sun... kitchen well equipped. the little extras, the joyful welcome from Salavatore, and the departure when the couple provided us with sweets. location in the center of Salento which makes most destinations very easy to access. Nieves is a truly lovely host who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Her recommendations were invaluable and it was a genuine pleasure to meet her and her family. The house is beautiful with plenty of space, comfy bedrooms and everything you could possibly need. The large open terraces and pool surrounding the house make it a great place for socialising as a large group whilst enjoying the peace of its spectacular surroundings. It is easy to access and nearby the historic city of Lecce with all it has to offer including stunning baroque architecture and some great bars and restaurants. We will be back! Occasionally on Airbnb you arrive somewhere and it’s like hitting the jackpot. Each and every space is beautiful, well appointed and through a design lens- stunning. Laid back luxury at its best. We are a (grown up) family of 9 and appreciated the numerous spaces to step back for moments of solitude - both inside and out. All the bedrooms are gorgeous- so no one left feeling like they’ve pulled the short straw, and the kitchen is perfect for creating big dinners. A cool (thanks to the air con) sitting room-perfect for reading, and bathrooms all well designed and good looking. The pool is beautiful- big enough to get a proper swim in which in my experience is rare, but the huge table under the canopied terrace off the kitchen was the place to be! The village bar is a 2 minute walk away and more restaurants a 15 minute walk. Can’t recommend enough, and can’t wait to return. Thank you Rocco and the wonderful house keepers for making our stay perfectly fabulous.

Spacious house with a huge plot and beautiful views in a very quiet location. The evening lighting gives the property a special atmosphere. We have rarely been in a house/apartment that was so clean. All cooking utensils are available. Mattia and his father Roberto are extremely helpful and warm hosts who responded promptly to all questions and gave us many valuable tips for the area. We will be happy to come back.

Stefania's house Not on a nature-protected coast, surrounded by a huge garden with beautiful plants, from which you can see the sea from everywhere. We had a perfect at Stefania's house and felt extremely comfortable. For people who love nature, this place is an absolute paradise and Stefania is an unconditionally excellent host who does everything at all times to make her guests feel comfortable. Since we had our dog Anton with us, the large garden was also a perfect place for him. From the grounds, you can take wonderful walks along small country lanes all the way down to the sea. The coast in this region is breathtakingly beautiful with many small coves and wonderful hiking opportunities. We can fully recommend Stefania and her heavenly garden. The house is also absolutely perfect for a stay in the middle of nature. Thank you, Stefania, for the beautiful days! Chaya, Toni and Andreas

An absolutely wonderful villa with a great view to the east and sunrise. Lots of space to sit and lounge and eat and spend time together with family and friends. A bit of a drive to the beach, but all very doable. Definitely in the return to list. Last but not least - Fausto is fab!

Camilla’s place was great. It is a good central location if you want to explore south of Italy (as we did), btw 10-40 min by car to all surrounding towns/beaches. The closest beach is only 5 or so minutes away by car. The house is good for families with older kids and the pool is a great addition. Local sweet cafe has nice coffee and pastries too.

A wonderful family holiday in a beautiful place. Mario and his family are excellent hosts who cannot do enough for you. Their hospitality was very appreciated, especially during a family emergency that occurred during our stay. They arranged cleaners and a chef for us, making a 5 star holiday more like 6 stars! The villa itself is beautiful with so much space and the swimming pool is a wonderful thing to have, few and far between in this part of Italy. Location is excellent, with the sea a short drive away and lots of lovely places like Gallipoli to visit. As a host myself I know how much work goes in to keeping a property in great condition and ensuring guests have a lovely stay - Mario has achieved that here and i hope to come back really soon!

This place was even more beautiful than the photos. Gorgeous views everywhere you looked. Sunrises were magical. Ada and her husband were so very kind and helpful with any questions we had. This place is a perfect oasis for a group gathering. You wouldn’t need to leave the property if you didn’t want to. So much to see and do right on site including pool and outdoor pizza oven. Several little spots to eat or have a drink with sea view within minutes. Santa Maria Di Leuca is only 15 minutes away with many terrific restaurants and touring options!

Frederico was an excellent host and the house was stunning. Unparalleled views of the sea, beautiful indoor and outdoor space and a remote oasis, also close to towns, beaches, hikes. We had the most special time sharing in this together.

We had such a great time. As a party of 11 the villa felt spacious and had everything we needed. The pasta making class and dinner cooked at the villa provided by Daniela were brilliant and delicious! We would love to come back!

Andrea is a fabulous host and could not do more to help us settle in and be looked after. He was always available and very accommodating. The property is a gem if you like peaceful, quiet places with a wonderful view. Two couples shared a bathroom without any problem, but generally it has a nice layout, with lots of space. We had one rainy day but we were still just happy to admire the view and relax, and it was a great surprise one evening to be able to see the mountains on the other side of the Gulf of Taranto. The beach at Lido Malibu is Caribbean and almost empty when we were there late May, but probably busy later judging by the number of available deck chairs. Gallipoli (30 mins) is a great trip to do as is Lecce a bit further, but generally we were happy to stay at the Villa by the superb pristine pool or go down to the beach. As we were self catering the house is well equipped, with lots of linen and towels, comfortable and nicely decorated. Definitely recommended.

Cesare (point of contact on site) was very kind and helpful. The same goes for Ludovica via chat. When the weather is nice, the rental property is perfect: terrace with lounge, outdoor kitchen, access to more, etc. In case of rain, you have to arrange, as you do not have a covered lounge outside by the terrace (it is covered, but it rains through. This was communicated to us by Cesare, whereupon we could prepare). The kitchen can also be used in the rain. The principle is very great, everyone has their own room but the living room is outside. So staying in groups is fun. The location is great, but in high summer there are a lot of young people on site as this is a party area. In September, the clubs are closed, which allows a quiet stay.

We had a wonderful time. Lots of space in the villa for two families and the teenagers loved having their own bathrooms! Very helpful in every way, we had a lovely dinner in the recommended restaurant in the village. We would definitely return!

I have to say that we found a courtesy,kindness ,availability from Alessandro and Mauro , accellent hosts;never happened to find people like this, they made us feel like family, they satisfied our every request with a grace and politeness that is not from everyone , they pampered us with your welcome overtime that we really appreciated... we can only say that Alessandro is Mauro gave us care and the true warmth of the South...simply wonderful people. ..Thank you for Cuore and the whole Company of the Pets

Angelo is one of the best hosts we've encountered. He responded promptly to all our questions before we arrived, picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. He had wine waiting for us at the house when we arrived. We miscalculated the availability of bus service in May, thinking we could bus from Casalabete to Brindisi to rent a car. Angelo anticipated our need and arranged a car rental for us. On the way out he even took a detour to show us some features of the area we asked about. The house is in a nice location, right over the dunes from the beach. The yard and pool are exceptionally nice, with plenty of outdoor seating areas in a private setting. The house is comfortable, but a bit dated inside, with a small kitchen (although it has lots of refrigerator and freezer space) and could use some better lighting. This is a really nice place for a beach vacation.

We had a lovely stay. A relaxing place, lovely pool and outdoor space, close to Tricase with a good choice of restaurants.

Gabriella's home is always a pleasure to visit. It was our second time visiting! The house is beautiful and the countryside so peaceful. Everything is in perfect condition. It has everything you might need to relax and reset. It is also incredibly spacious making it an ideal property for a group of people. I highly recommend it!

Anna and Toni were very kind and caring hosts and when I had a problem with the car, even came out to pick me up from the village and nothing was too much trouble. On arrival there were all kinds of goodies waiting for me including coffee and a bottle of wine which I was not expecting! I had a very enjoyable time and my Italian improved no end after my weeks stay as they were great to chat to. I car is essential and there is plenty of parking at the property. Molte grazie Anna e Toni, e spero di rivedervi presto!

This home was very spacious. It is in a grest location about a 12 minute walk into the historic center . There is a grocery store about a 6 minute walk from the house . There is also a ping pong tabke which was fun and there are lots of shady places to dine al fresco on the property . The hosts were kind and very helpful. There was a party next door at the tower one evening. It was very loud for those who go to bed early. it was not a problem for us because we go to bed late. There must be a noise ordinance because the music stopped at 12:15 which seemed reasonable. The AC worked well and are in the bedrooms. The house was nice and cool. We will absolutely return to this home! A pool in the city is very unusual in Europe and the kids enjoyed it . Thank you . Dawn

Antonino and his family were very kind and welcoming: we felt like we were with friends! The accommodation was impeccable: very clean, very well equipped and very large for our family of 5. Our 4-year-old daughter loved the pool, the sandbox and collecting eggs and picking fruit. What can I say about the location, wow! We loved having dinner and lunch on the terrace with the view! We highly recommend it and would return without hesitation.

Great stay, everything as described. Hosts were very accommodating and provided local tips and were flexible with check in. Would definitely recommend highly!
