Villa holiday rentals in Province of Massa and Carrara

Cinque terre is one of the many beautiful Italian fields, absolutely worth a visit. Dogs are a little difficult to get around, as the five small villages are hard to get to by car, but the train runs often and accurately, and it's super clean. Dogs can be transported with a small surcharge and a muzzle. It is a good idea to start your excursions in Levanto instead of La Spezia, where parking is easier, the distance from Riccardo's house is roughly the same. The air conditioning will definitely be resolved by the owner soon. Unfortunately, there is no pool, but the houses where they are are much more expensive. Riccardo, his wife, sister, and brother-in-law are both nice people, it's important to them that the guest has a good time. Beautiful, wild garden, well-equipped house.

Communication with Paolo was great! The house was great and the views breathtakingly beautiful. Our dogs were very comfortable in the well-kept garden.

Great location with a great view.

This place! HEAVEN on earth! The hardest part was walking up all those stairs w/ luggage BUT doable. We packed lightly & only made one trip! The hosts were waiting for us to give house keys, recs on food & what to do nearby, tour of home, etc. they had a bottle of wine for us to enjoy on the absolutely breathtaking view! The pictures are all that and more!!! I was SO happy we chose this place. Corniglia is the quieter of the 5 towns & smack in the middle. I’m happy w/ the choice we made. It was quiet, private, serene. We even called it an early day in the other towns just to come back and enjoy the terrace, sunset and views! The beds were comfy, bathroom was clean & no issues. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was well stocked. Coffee on the terrace in the mornings & wine in the evenings! There was even a nice breeze in the evenings & they were well stocked with blankets! Size was perfect for our family of 3 adults & 2 teens. Highly recommend this place!

The villa was incredible. It had an amazing view and excellent ambiance. The house it self was well furnished and the property felt very private even though it was just a short drive down the hill from the train station to Cinque Terre. Sarah was very helpful and very prompt on answering any questions we had. We did the pasta making class and had a wonderful experience. Booking this accommodation was not only booking a house but also, booking unforgettable memories.

This villa is a gem, pictures don’t do it justice. The views are absolutely breathtaking….The house is fully equipped with everything we needed. We managed a trip to Florence and surrounding beaches which was recommended by the host. We could have stayed longer. I would definitely be back. My kids loved the pool and the little surrounding walking trials surrounding the villa. Only 1 hours drive from Pisa airport.

Overall we had a great stay! The dogs and area are great! Is it about an hour walk to the beach and is a little far from surrounding areas, but the walk is beautiful! We had electricity issues one night but the host was quick to reply. Overall would stay again! The house was very clean, pool was beautiful and a great place to relax!

This home was beautiful! Pietro was above and beyond kind to our big family. So thankful for him and this lovely experience.

Dilletta was a very polite and responsive host. As a family of 4 adults and 2 children, We felt the home was very accommodating. The 2 children each had a nice size bedroom. The views were beautiful and the outdoor patio was very relaxing. Because we had been traveling we were able to wash a few clothes and hang them to dry outside on a spacious clothes line. I only have 2 constructive suggestions, providing a portable fan in each bedroom would help w/ the doors being open and keeping flying insects out. The second suggestion is to weed the front garden area. The trees and flowers were beautiful and some weeds were starting to take over. All and all we would recommend staying here again. We were able to enjoy a wonderful vacation in Sabrina's house - the perfect place to really unwind. The kitchen is super equipped, we grilled, baked pizza and cooked a lot of good food - it was wonderful! The beds are very comfortable and the house was very well maintained overall - you can feel how much love Sabrina puts into it, that's really nice. Thanks Sabrina for your hospitality! Well - what a tremendous and charming villa plus superb location. Our two families really loved our week with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their chosen activity: top pool and loungers, hip bar, lots of games available, pizza oven and bbq proved a success, lush mountain views at the breakfast table and shady and fragrant lunches underneath a arbor of jasmine. Loris our caretaker was very hands on, responsive, helpful and made the best tiramisu! We were very sad to leave! Would recommend: a trip to see the marble quarries, Pietrasanta and the Cinqueterra - all within 50minutes drive of the Licciana Nardi. Famille Hickeys and Chiaruccis.

Beautiful big house for the whole family. We were pleasantly surprised as to how nice everything was! Scenic area and lovely plot for play and swimming. The playroom was appreciated. The house is located high up in the mountains with narrow winding roads. Perfect for nature experiences! If you want to visit cities around, expect that it takes at least 1 hour by car. Consumables type paper, dishwasher detergent is available for a couple of days but if you want to grill, make sure to buy your own charcoal. Since it is an old stone house, wifi is limited. Some days there were also problems with the water supply and hot water. May be because we were there early in the season. The host couple incredibly service minded and friendly. Quick to answer questions and help, and also tips on excursions, experiences, and other things in the area.

Lovely place, the pictures don’t do justice to the spectacular views and grounds. The view from the pool over the hills and mountains is incredible. We loved the location but it won’t suit everyone, it’s quite remote and we would definitely recommend some sort of 4 x 4 or SUV when hiring a car as the road leading up to it gets very bumpy and to get to the top of the mountain and appreciate the countryside it’s better to have a more capable vehicle.

wonderful villa with a very impressive panoramic view over the surrounding hills with the beautiful peaks of Alpi apuane in the background. the house and surrounding terrain is big, plenty of space. lots of birds singing around the house. we did a lot of hiking around in Lunigiana which feels a bit like a well-kept secret (beautiful but not many tourists). we liked Fivizzano, but basically every little village is quite pretty here.

Great place love the view and the house.

The pictures do not do this location justice! The view from the outdoor table, pool, and many balconies is unbelievable. The house is nestled in a very quiet, secluded spot and is perfect for relaxing. Kitchen is fully equipped, beds are comfortable. Marius is the most helpful, responsive host, helping us with any questions we had and providing excellent local recommendations. We didn’t want to leave!

Nice welcome by hosts Patrizia and Carlo. Very useful tips on what to do and where to eat in the folder in the house. The holiday home is located on enclosed private property (fence with its own remote control), spacious space for car and sunbathing on the lawn.

We had a great time in Giampis house. Beautiful garden with a nice swimming pool, and we especially liked the kitchen outside in the upper house, which we could use also when it was raining. Great surroundings, great view, walking distance to shops and good restaurants in the small, peaceful town La Gracie and 15 min walks to the more touristic, but beautiful Portovenere. A great base for tours in Cinque Terre, with ferry from Portovenere or bus into La Spezia and train from there. We came without car, no problem at all to get around. Giampaolo is very friendly and helpful and gave us good advices where to eat and to do our shopping, and how to get around. We will absolutely recommend Giampaolos place, either for a relaxing or for a sportive vacation, or even better, both!

A beautiful old house that is not yet completely renovated. The house exudes a great charm, even if the internet and electricity are not quite stable. We felt very comfortable!!
