Holiday rentals with lake access in Province of Novara

We had a wonderful week at the accommodation in Arona. The apartment was exactly as we had wished – it was clean, well equipped and offered everything we needed for our stay. The reception was very warm, and also during the entire time the landlord was always available, responded quickly and friendly to all small questions and was consistently helpful. This made us feel very good and made the stay even more enjoyable. The location was ideal for us for excursions on foot or by car. Overall, we had a great time, and we can recommend the accommodation with a clear conscience. Thank you for the great hospitality!

Carla was a great host. She was very responsive, friendly and polite. The house was as described. It is a shared yard but it was not a problem. There is a school across the street, so when school is done you hear lots of children playing, but it was not a problem. It was conveniently close to the airport(MXP) and Lake Maggiore. There is a lot of kitchen utensils. We would stay again

Thank you Kristina for the lovely time we had at your place! It was exactly what we needed! This is a must-book. Kristina is a very friendly, proactive and involved host. The accomodation is fantastic. The salt water pool is kept squeeky clean by Kristina (every day she cleans it herself). The view from the pool is fantastic. We had our 11 month baby with us and Kristina provided all amenities we could wish for: quality cot, quality baby chair and some really nice toys! Although the house is a bit remote, there is a lot to do within a 15 minute drive. One of the cleanest lakes in Italy is a 10 minute walk from the house which is lovely as well.

We had a lovely time, Davide’s beautiful home was in the perfect location as you walked out of the door if you looked to your left the lake is in view and everywhere was extremely walkable. Everything was extremely clean and also was equipped with everything you may need. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting the picturesque town of Arona.

Paola is a super host, she makes you feel right at home, including our 2yr old border collie. The lake view at the flat is the highlight of our stay. The little personal touch provided by Paola is the added bonus on top. The garden and the surrounding hikes and lake is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended

Casa Longhi is a beautiful place located right in the centre of this historic village and close to the lake. The casa is historic (built in 1456 - note; the plumbing has been upgraded since! 🤣). It retains its old world charm and ambiance. It is has a very comfy bed and everything was spotlessly clean. The washing machine is a bonus. Nicolo is a fabulous friendly host. Highly recommended - Grazie.!!

Charming apartment with a great large terrace overlooking the great Lago d'Orta. Quiet residential area with parking nearby, the swimming area was within walking distance, the water quality and the water temperature were very pleasant. The contact with Gabriella was very warm, all questions were answered promptly. Unfortunately, we were unable to meet in person. Since we are traveling with a dog, a dog-friendly vacation spot was very important to us. We were always received in a very friendly manner with the dog. Around the lake there are numerous excursion opportunities. The Valstrona with many hiking trails, rustic refreshments or drive up to the Mottarone and enjoy the great views all around. We definitely felt very comfortable at Lake Orta, as we prefer quiet places without mass tourism. A big thank you also to Silvia and Giulio, who guided us to the apartment and also helped us every step of the way.

We were very pleased. Alessio always responded very quickly to requests, which helped us a lot. The apartment is beautiful and in a great location. We were very satisfied and would be happy to come back. Thank you very very much for everything.

The accommodation is impeccable, and super well located, we were 6 biker friends, we had the space, for everyone, the kitchen is very well equipped, two bathrooms for a group, it's very comfortable There is a car park right in front of the building the place is quiet and central, which allowed us to visit the region, the lakes, Our host was very friendly, welcomed us with kindness, despite our delay... we really recommend this place.

We had a fantastic stay at the apartment. Beatrice and Giorgio provided all the necessary details in advance, making it easy to find and check in. The apartment was lovely—spotlessly clean and comfortable, with an air-conditioned bedroom that kept the nights cool. We spent countless relaxing hours in the garden, enjoying its private access to the sea, which was simply wonderful. Pettenasco has some great restaurants (Ristorante Giardinetto was our favorite), and we also took trips to nearby villages like Orta San Giulio, which is worth a visit. The area wasn’t too crowded, but we recommend reserving tables at restaurants.

STUNNING! Homely, comfortable, everything we needed and more Need a car to get about Local towns of Arona and Stresa within a 10-20min drive away were stunning. There is a beautiful viewpoint at Arona and lovely places to eat, snack and enjoy. Wonderful restaurant 10min walk from house with its own brewery with nicest beer I've ever tasted and reasonably priced too. Because it's not a main tourist area costs were reasonable Out host was kind, caring and helpful but not invasive

Our stay in this apartment in the heart of Orta San Giulio was exceptional. The natural setting is beautiful. The apartment, spacious and well-equipped, offers all the comforts you need. The loggia, an ideal and must-see space to extend the beautiful evenings. A note of attention and special thanks for Giorgio. A host of great kindness and perfect availability. An address to recommend without hesitation for your future vacation.

We spent a wonderful 4 days in the house. The location is awesome and the private beach is simply fantastic. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy. The house is clean and the garden with the beautiful view is awesome. We were 2 adults with 2 dogs and for us it was perfect. The dogs cannot enter the water from the private beach (water is only accessible via 2 ladders) but 10m from the house they can easily swim. The place is great for bathing with the dogs. The spiral staircase was also not feasible for our (medium-sized) dogs, but they slept upstairs in the living room without any problems and we slept downstairs in the bedroom. The house is equipped with everything you need and the recycling system is perfectly prepared by the host. Everything was very clean upon our arrival. We enjoyed our vacation here very much and will definitely come back.

We were a group of 9 people and we had a lovely stay at this house by Lake Maggiore. The location is absolutely beautiful, with great views. The path to get there will have given us some chills but the garden is a real haven of peace, perfect for enjoying the calm and surrounding nature. Self check-in and self check-out will have given us a lot of flexibility, Stefano's instructions and his responsiveness were perfect. A big thank you for the warm welcome and all the small details in making our stay such a pleasant one.

First of all, this location is absolutely outstanding. It is directly on the lake just south of town. The island is front and center and it is so peaceful and quiet. We loved lounging next to the lake in the afternoons, watching the ducks swim and the boats sail by. The “cottage” itself is compact but perfectly comfortable for 2-3 people. It is very bright and airy, although it would have been great to have screens on the sliding glass doors so we could have breezes at night. We had an unusual check in experience, which was mostly our own fault. We followed the check in directions online; we should have read the House Rules before check in! Because we didn’t, we ended up in the wrong house where the keys didn’t work, so we climbed in a window, only to subsequently learn that someone else lived there! So DO read the House Rules before arrival. Our only suggestion…the cottage is not as well stocked as other AirBnB’s where we have stayed. AirBnB should have a minimum level expect
