Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Province of Piacenza

Luca’s house is set high in the hills above Stradella amidst acres and acres of vineyards. The scenery is spectacular. My visit was exquisitely timed - early March but blizzard-like conditions were blanketing most of Europe in snow. It was super cold but the welcome from Luca and his mother was toasty warm. As was the house - complete with open fire. Luca arranged a restaurant booking in Stradella which served the best meal I had in three weeks of eating my way around Italy (north and south). Luca’s breakfast the next morning was superb and abundant: I didn’t have to worry about the prospect of dreadful airline food on my trip home - Milan/Dubai/Sydney. You definitely need a car to get Luca’s house. There’s no WiFi. Not a problem to me but my travelling companion almost needed to be put on life support! Of the six Airbnb venues I stayed at in Italy, Luca’s was the best. I’ll be back as soon as I can. Christine H

We had a very pleasant stay at Silvia’s beautiful place. Everything what you expect from the beautiful landscapes is what you get when you sleep at her place. The view from the room is breathtaking, and you even get breakfast with the view you can dream of. Silvia is a very enthusiastic woman who knows a lot about the region and helps you with everything you need. She gave some nice tips for our way through Italy the next day. If I will be back in the region once, I will not hesitate to visit this place again! Thanks for everythingb

With my partner we stayed in this wonderful bed and breakfast located in an old farmhouse in Oltrepò Pavese. The panoramic view on the hills and vineyards is breathtaking. The Bacialupo is run by a warm and friendly family, who immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. A rustic and authentic environment that enhances the charm of ancient objects. Wonderful floors made with expertly recovered terracotta and cement tiles. The apartment we stayed in is spacious and comfortable. recommended!

Fabio is very friendly and helpful. He speaks good French, which helped me a lot. He gave me good recommendations for visits. A very good memory.

I chose this property on the occasion of the start of the Tour de France. The property is very convenient in the center, even more so if you take advantage of the "bicycles" service offered by the owner. Very well cleaned rooms equipped with all the essential amenities for your stay. A thought also for Carla, added value of her proposal, who with kindness, cordiality and hospitality will receive you and welcome you in the best way!

We stayed one night at this place during a bike trip This is a bedroom with separate bathroom and a shared kitchen. The place is very quiet but a little out of the way. The host's welcome was very positive and adapted to our particular constraints. We enjoyed the air conditioning (with a small extra charge) during this very hot period.

I was at Antonella's farm because I had to play a competition at Croara's Country Club. She immediately showed herself to be a very friendly, kind and helpful person to accommodate my requests. I felt right at home. The farm is located above a valley and is in a very quiet area. The only downside was the weak WiFi as well as the phone signal. Otherwise, if there's a new opportunity, I'll definitely be back there.

Donatella and Matteo are very warm young hosts who have just fulfilled the dream of the B&B. They welcomed us warmly, provided us with tips for things to do, conjured up a special breakfast every day and also reserved tables by phone in wonderful restaurants. Communication worked without any problems in English. We consider the Trebbiatal to be an insider tip, it is really worth a trip. Our highlights: the Italian food, the city of Bobbio and swimming in the crystal-clear Trebbia.

We had a great time. The only small flaw: 2 out of 3 rooms, on the hottest days they are not comfortable until the twilight falls. But overall the experience was definitely enjoyable

My girlfriend and I had such a lovely stay here. The views were absolutely stunning, peaceful and scenic, perfect for a quiet week away. The house itself was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Vanda and Roberto were amazing — so friendly and welcoming without being overbearing. They really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was genuinely fantastic — fresh, thoughtful, and delicious. It was really easy to get to, and the location made a great base for exploring the area. We left feeling relaxed and grateful — would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay.
