Tex Mex, Italian, Mexican Parrila, Fine Dining, casual Dining, all within 15 minutes. Of course you are welcome to prepare your own food in the fully equipped full kitchen. A side note: we have a family of wild turkeys that visit the property, as well as abundant wildlife. We also free range our 3 chickens and 3 dusks named Larry, Curley and Mo. We also have 3 female Longhorn, Toodles, Daisy and Clarabell. The manicured property is located on a private, 13-acre hobby ranch on the border of Dripping Springs and Austin. Estelene was established in 1910 and served as a community center and post office for rural people of southwest Baca County until 1927. Estelene was named after Estelene Collins, the lady who operated the post office on the Collins Ranch where it was located. Estelene was also a teacher at the local schoolhouse for a time. The story goes that after she got older and unable to climb the hill to the original post office, she asked the community to build her a post office closer to the house.
