We had such an amazing time at Sarah’s place! Very serene and less than 3 minute walk to the beach. There is so much to do in this area and rides to town are easy to coordinate with Banana Azul hotel just down the street (or you can rent bikes or drive). The Banana Azul hotel also has a great restaurant right on the beach. The bedroom villa has a wall air conditioner and fan above the bed, so it was very cool at night. It was so amazing to wake up to the monkeys and toucans every morning. Sarah also helped to arrange massages and an incredible meal by Chef David. I can’t say enough good things about our stay we’ll definitely be back.

Wow!! What a spectacular and beautiful home and experience. Agatha was the loveliest host with a beautiful home that she designed herself. The love and care she put into every aspect of this home and experience is 5 star. The views are jaw dropping and the time in the the infinity pool was epic. The home was spotless and very comfortable with an exceptional design. I cannot recommend this home enough! I would say it is probably one of the top homes in the area. Excellent place, just like the pictures. We were a group of 6 people and everything met the description, unpaved street but you can access it with any type of vehicle. Communication with the host was excellent

I want to share our experience for our 9 day stay. Coming into Limon there was an accident I had emailed our estimated time of arrival to our host But traffic was backed up, we were stuck in traffic for 4 hours. our host was super communicative and as we got closer he met us at the property about 5 hours late so glad for his help getibg us aclimated to the aurroundings. one day we had no gas to cook and I contacted the host and he had us fuel in 15 minutes. we saw monkeys and a sloth right outside of the back porch. very comfortable property but remember you are in a jungle setting. your doing to see bugs and mosquitoes. Well stocked kitchen utensils, good wifi, great ac, comfortable beds and we felt safe there. We would stay there again. thans for hosting the three of us.

Beautiful home. Dawn, the host and owner, lives downstairs and she was incredibly kind and helpful. Pictures don’t do the home justice - it’s stunning - with an incredible yard. Used the pool and meditation deck daily, both of which were amazing.

Casa Mona a beautiful secluded haven for couples set on the edge of the rainforest with a lovely cooling pool. Casa Mona is a beautifully appointed, clean, compact and modern open plan villa set in an incredible 'edge of the jungle' garden, which is secluded and accessed by a private gated entrance. Perfect for couples wishing to chill yet 15 minutes walk to the beach and the lively and energetic town of Puerto Viejo. The wonderful plunge pool was a welcome and cooling resource at the end of a hot day. We thoroughly enjoyed the sounds of the jungle each night. A perfect getaway place in a fabulous Caribbean coastal town with plenty of excellent restaurants and activities. The hosts were friendly and always available.

Our family (kids 3, 5, and 13) had an amazing time at Casa Neen! Eric is an excellent host and helpful with everything we needed. He has staff that is also available for things like having a private chef, laundry and cleaning if necessary. The home is comfortable and beautiful. The walk to the beach is very short and safe. We loved this particular beach because it was quiet and natural. We also enjoyed driving 10 minutes away to Playa Cocles to rent surf boards. Anywhere we wanted to go was convenient and quick to get to. Highlights of our trip was the kayak tour with Eric at Iki Tours, chocolate plantation tour with Daniel, surfing at Playa Cocles, breakfast on the beach at Iriria (get the croissants!), dinner on the beach at Beach break bar (homemade tagliatelle was delicious!), and just swimming in the pool every afternoon. Can’t wait to return!

This is the most relaxed I have been in years. I’d stay a year if I could afford it. The sounds of nature just make it so easy to drift off to a nice sleep. The outside kitchen was not difficult to work with. Everything I needed was literally right there. The pool is perfect for relaxing in and is private. While I have a child, it was particularly nice to have a kid free atmosphere where you can just relax. There are so many things to do near by and Jim and his wife are lovely. Luna, the pup, is an absolute joy. I already miss it and can’t wait to come back! Thank you for your hospitality and the relaxing weekend. 🫶🏽

Wat an amazing place to stay, we just had 2 nights but could easily stay weeks here! The house is spacious, beautiful in its simplicity, with a luxurious and very clean look, the bed is great and the bathroon has a netwindow so you can easily hear the birds and howler monkeys when showering (in the huge shower)! The garden is large and the fireflies in the evening make is fairytail-like. We saw toucans, agoutis, howler monkeys and so many other birds and butterflies (like blue morpho) just in and around the big garden. And Cahuita is just around the corner, which makes this place very private but near all the places to do. Lovely host, also! Helped us with many things, thank you again for all. Highly recommended, don't hesitate!

Chris's place is very comfortable, and conveniently located to the beach and Cahuita downtown. There's a grocery store not far (maybe 15 min driving), and the kitchen is equipped for cooking meals. The beds are comfortable and the outdoor showers are amazing. The yard welcomes all sorts of wildlife as well - birds, agouti, and even a sloth presented itself! I would stay here again.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Just got back from the most magical getaway in Cahuita, Costa Rica, and I can't stop smiling! 😍 This Airbnb was more than just a place to stay; it felt like a little sanctuary. My room was cozy and inviting, making it hard to leave! But let’s talk about the pool! 🏊‍♀️💦 It became my personal slice of heaven. I loved starting my mornings with a swim, surrounded by lush greenery. The sunsets by the pool were straight out of a postcard! 🌅 Every moment was filled with peace and joy. Recommend it 1000%. 1 month stay. The house is much better than the pictures show. The bedroom is massive and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked and David provides much, much more than most hosts in this region of the world, including adequate soap, and even binoculars for wildlife viewing. The house feels new and seems like it is in the middle of the jungle but it's location could not be more perfect. Walkable to world-class beaches, grocery stores, restaurants etc. Uber quick here. David is a great guy and equally wonderful host. Superb value rental.

Absolutely loved staying at this property! We were looking for a quiet but comfortable place to relax and recharge and that is exactly what we found. We loved rinsing off in the outdoor shower when returning from the beach and having the filtered water station to rehydrate. We also love listening to the sounds of the jungle while resting and relaxing on the outdoor porch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We loved the house and the garden. Staying in the middle of the jungle is magical. If you are looking for a silent place, this isn’t the one cause the monkeys, roosters, dogs and birds will wake you up very early but if you are looking for a jungle experience this is it! The house is super clean and beautiful, full of butterflies and beautiful animals that come to visit .

Excellent place to stay in Playa Chiiquita. Quick, easy walk to the beach access, on a small dead end road, super clean, wonderfully comfortable, nice refreshing pool, beautiful garden, and very responsive host. Highly recommend except for perhaps by doing so it might be hard to get a reservation next time ;)

Great location and very peaceful. Enrica was very responsive and helpful. The basket of ideas was great for helping decide what to do and where to eat. Definitely recommend!

David’s place was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! Lots of amenities and the staff were so welcoming and kind!

We just returned from our stay at Casa Colibri and the entire week was magical! The pictures of the property don't do it justice. The house is spotless, especially considering it's in the middle of the jungle. The front patio and pool were perfect for our family. The outside space is so relaxing and beautiful - the sounds of the birds and howler monkeys were an extra touch. Andrea was very helpful with our requests. This is a very special place and we hope to return again. Highly recommend a stay here!

We are a family from Costa Rica and we truly enjoyed our stay at this house. It looks exactly like the pictures—spacious, bright, and with a beautiful pool. The location is perfect, close to everything you need in Puerto Viejo such as restaurants, supermarkets, and more. You can even walk around without needing a car. The host’s attention before, during, and after our stay was excellent. We’ll definitely be back!

Very grateful to Andrés, super attentive and cordial. He immediately answered all our questions and was willing to help us with what we needed. The accommodation is beautiful, much more beautiful than in the photos, it has everything you need to spend a comfortable and relaxed stay in the South Caribbean. The house is easily accessible, surrounded by nature, the decoration is super nice. We will definitely be back.
