Roquefixade is a very picturesque village and the accomodation is excellent, with a spectacular outlook. There are lovely walks in the area. We especially enjoyed the chateau circuit and another loop walk to Les Demoiselles. Tom was a very friendly and helpful host.

We really enjoyed our stay with Erick and Isabelle - they are wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome, including organising a tasting of local Corbières wines, and a separate vinegar tasting. The house is beautiful, and very well equipped - for dinner, we could take our pick between bbqing outside on the terrace or cooking in the kitchen. For swimming, we were spoilt for choice, able to swim in the pool as well as in the river below the house. The countryside around the house is great for walks (and the nearby village is easily walkable), but it is quite remote, so a car is needed to get around, and to visit almost any of the nearby sights beyond the village. It was an amazing holiday, and having this great place to stay was a really important part of it!

Kim and Duncan were very friendly hosts and made us feel very welcome. We were very impressed with our accommodation, it was exactly what we were hoping for. We enjoyed the pool area and there was ample space for the children to run around. The property was tucked away yet not too far by car from the local boulangerie which we find important when visiting France! Kim and Duncan’s dog, is a delight and the children looked forward to his daily visits. He was definitely the icing on the cake for us. We would highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in the area.

Very good stay in Puivert. Welcoming, caring and very discreet English-speaking hosts. The accommodation is quiet, very well equipped except for the absence of a microwave. The private garden is lovely. Swimming at the lake less than 5 minutes on foot, the area is conducive to walks and visits. We recommend! +++

Nicole and her husband have been perfect hosts. The casita was cozy and our kids loved the chickens and the cows. We took the car and went to Lake Belcaire, to Fontestorbes, to Mirepoix, a charming medieval village. On the last day we made the path of the green labyrinth that resembled the Lord of the Rings.

This place is a little paradise. The house is very warm, the view is beautiful. The garden is an Eden. The environment is very quiet. The hikes around the house are fabulous. Marlene and Bruce welcomed us very well. This is an excellent place.
