Thank you Anne for this great welcome. I would have given it 6 stars if I could. Lots of sports activities in the Terrain: Volleyball, swimming pool, ping pong, foosball....

We had a great stay at Claire, Thierry and Stella's (their dog). Their kindness, their welcome and the idyllic setting of their home won us over. We'll come back to that, that's for sure!

A very nice house, well-equipped, very clean. The pool is great! If you want to have a relaxing vacation, we recommend you go there with your eyes closed!!! I thank Christophe for his responsiveness and kindness!

A very friendly and welcoming host . The house was extremely well equipped and very comfortable, set in a beautiful garden in a quiet village along with great views of the surrounding hills and mountains. We had a fabulous stay. I highly recommend staying here .

We were 4 couples who came to hike in the area. We weren't disappointed. There are quite a few things to see, to discover. The house is spacious. Time did not allow us to use the beautiful pool. The hostess was very responsive to a request related to the operation of the TV. It is necessary to ensure that the number of outlet adapters (GB-F) is sufficient and functional.

We had a very pleasant family weekend in this place, which offers a magnificent panorama of the countryside and the Pyrenees. What tranquility! This place is ideal for resting and recharging. Special mention for the brunch served just before our departure! A big thank you to Aline and Pascal for their hospitality!

It was our second time visiting, and we loved it even more than we did the first time. Richard, Marvin, Burt, Marge & Toby are all exceptional hosts. We absolutely loved our time there. The pool is divine, and sitting outside Gite 1 every evening playing chess and drinking rosé was the best. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere; only the sound of birds singing and trees rustling in the wind - but only 10 minute drive to a supermarket. Gite 1 has a fabulously big & comfortable bed, and the bathroom is recently renovated to an outstanding standard. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A beautiful place to stay for exploring the Pyrenees. The house is nourishing and homely in its simplicity - it is clear a lot of care has gone into creating the space. The village is quiet and peaceful with minimal traffic. The surrounding area is full of magical places to visit and enjoy. Jeanine was easy to communicate with and always ready to help if needed. I hope I will return again some time

We had a wonderful stay in the middle of beautiful scenery, a truly relaxing and idyllic place. We enjoyed drinks and meals on the lovely terrace and found the accommodation comfortable and perfect for a couple. The host was friendly and responsive. There are lovely walks right from the door into the mountains. We also walked into neighbouring Vinça to enjoy the lake and Joch for the lovely view and cafe. We would love to go back and would definitely stay again, we didn’t want to leave! Merci!

We had a very pleasant stay, (hikes to the Refuge d'en Beys and Pic de Tarbesou, walk around Orlu and market in Ax) and received a very good welcome.

The cottage is very well located, the views are breathtaking. There are numerous hikes nearby and places to visit. Sophie is very responsive and accommodating. I recommend this cottage, we'll be back with pleasure!

We had a very enjoyable, relaxing and peaceful week here. The house was really clean and comfortable and we felt very much at home. The terrace in particular was a lovely space to read a book and enjoy our morning coffee. And those views! We definitely recommend a meal or two at La Petite Artois, the food is great and they are very friendly. The location is good for visiting several Cathar castles nearby and the countryside is breathtaking and at this time of year with wildflowers everywhere. Anna was very helpful and easy to contact. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the area. It was a really lovely holiday.

Calm and clean place! Perfect to relax in the middle of nowhere.

One whole side of the house facing the stunning Mountain views is all glass. Absolutely everything g in the house is brand new and pristine. The location is up a hillside in a tiny village. The road behind the house is the Cathar trail and leads to the nearby Roquefixade ruins. It is also located between the three most beautiful villages to visit: Camon, Mirepoix, and Foix. Vincent, the host, is super friendly and very responsive.

Campagne sur Aude is so well located, we were able to travel in all directions to see amazing sites and scenery. Lina's bar across the street and the village shop/cafe are a great advantage and make up for the lack of outside space at the property. The house was very cool and comfortable for the 3 of us, it might have felt tight with more people. The markets are wonderful and the towns and villages have so much history.

Fantastic stay in a pleasant and peaceful setting A huge thank you to Muriel and Max for their extremely attentive welcome. Mountain house with neat decoration and special touches. In hot weather outside, the house keeps all its freshness thanks to the thickness of its walls. Accommodation with great hikes on site and in the surrounding area. We would definitely recommend!

Ciarda and Richard were gracious and helpful hosts. There response to our questions and a couple of repairs was timely. The location is easy in and out and the parking in front is a real plus. The property is comfortable and spacious and these are all good things. There were for us, some things less satisfactory. The 2nd floor is accessed by steep and somewhat irregular stairs. Once on the 2nd floor there are number of interior steps both short and tall as well as up and down. While there is nothing that Ciarda and Richard can do about that short of remodeling, but it is something that we think that should be noted in the description. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend it to others with the caveats noted.

Enjoyed our stay again. A wonderful house in a beautiful area where you can relax after a day on the road. We will definitely come back again.

Delightfully spacious, practical home in the quiet typical French town of Chalabre, close to the supermarket. If you love beautiful nature, peace, hiking/cycling or swimming, you are in the right place! Swimming in the lake of Puivert, cycling on the former railway from Lavelanet to Mirepoix ('voie verte en Pyrenées), visiting places like Mirepoix, Limoux, Carcassonne, Foix or a day trip to Andorra or the Mediterranean Sea ... it's all possible. Enjoy the French way!

Very nice stay in Fa. The accommodation was functional , pleasant , very much like the photos offered . Very well-equipped and cozy. The village is nice with the possibility of taking beautiful walks . Unfortunately, we weren't lucky with the weather . Too bad, but this may be normal for the month of March . We'll be back in summer! Very good welcome from Samuel upon arrival.

Magali and Jean Baptist’s annex was beautifully designed. It was the perfect complement to their elegant main home. The little patio had mature vines growing over Roman style columns, providing a delicious secluded shaded area, perfect for evening drinks or a light meal. We had permission to use the little pool which is delightful in the mature garden. The views of the Castle peeked through everywhere. Both the town and the castle were within an easy walk. Very peaceful area and lovely hosts. We wanted to give it 6 stars!
