This house is beautiful! The rooms are great. The kitchen is large and it has a nice pool and hot tub. It is set back from road 100 meters and has a private gate making it feel very secluded. There are some nice local restaurants with great views of the city 10 minutes away as well as a small grocery a few minutes away. We had a great stay!

It’s always a pleasure to stay at Freddy’s place. He’s a great host. The pool is lovely and the property is surrounded by nature. The house is comfortable and cozy with lots of outdoor space. This is our favorite place to stay when we are working in the area.

Excelente ubicación, implementos de cocina muy completos y algunos artefactos incluso nuevos. Sin embargo, destaco que la mesa de comedor estaba extremadamente sucia, hasta con pelos de gato incrustados encima (tuvimos que limpiarla 3 veces para que quedara decente y no saliera el trapo negro). Además, la ducha era bastante incómoda porque no había presión para el agua caliente (no así el agua fría). Por último, los ventiladores estaban muy viejos y polvorientos. De todas formas, tuvimos una excelente estadía.

Ein absolut traumhafter Ort! Die Unterkunft von Mike ist ein echtes Juwel inmitten der Natur – wunderschön gelegen, mit einem liebevoll gepflegten Garten, der zum Entspannen einlädt. Das Haus selbst ist sehr sauber, bestens ausgestattet und angenehm klimatisiert – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an rundum wohl. Die Kommunikation mit Mike war hervorragend. Er war jederzeit erreichbar, unglaublich hilfsbereit und hat sich um sämtliche Touren und Aktivitäten vor Ort gekümmert, was unseren Aufenthalt extrem entspannt und besonders gemacht hat. Ein kleiner Hinweis zur Anreise: Drake Bay ist nicht ganz einfach zu erreichen und man sollte die Anfahrt im Voraus gut planen. Ein Allradfahrzeug ist definitiv empfehlenswert – aber die Mühe lohnt sich in jedem Fall! Für uns war es ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt, den wir jederzeit wiederholen würden. Absolute Top-Empfehlung!

My family and I were so pleased with our choice. The home was very clean, lots of parking. The outdoor covered patio is perfect for rainy evenings. The pool was cleaned as soon as we got there and we enjoyed it every day. I recommend going to the home before going to the grocery store because it is well stocked. Martin even had coffee from their family and it was the best coffee we had the whole time we were in Costa Rica. The restaurant recs from Lorena were on point and delicious. I suggest staying for at least three or four days because the amount of wildlife that traverses through the property changes from day-to-day. There is a resident sloth that lives right outside the gates and we saw him three out of the five days that we were there. another sloth that we saw every morning on our walk that was about a 10 minute distance from home. So many tropical birds. We would stay here again, highly recommend. Check out was extremely easy and effortless. Also, several walkable restaurants.

Our stay at **Carlos' house** was absolutely perfect. He was incredibly **responsive and helpful**, ensuring we had everything we needed. We even received an **extra cleaning after two days** and **free laundry service**, which was a wonderful bonus. The location is fantastic—just a few minutes from the beach. I would **highly recommend** this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

The sound of the rain, the fresh air, and the serene atmosphere made it one of the most relaxing and magical experiences we’ve ever had. A huge thank you to Janice, who coordinated everything perfectly. Her kindness, care, and attention to detail made us feel completely at ease from the moment we arrived. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Unterkunft. Sie ist modern eingerichtet und perfekt für bis zu 4 Personen. Küche, Bad, Zimmer - alles perfekt. Privater Parkplatz vor der Türe. Der Blick vom Balkon war fast besser als der Besuch des Nationalparks - wir haben viele Vögel, Affen und weitere Tiere gesehen. Wir würden es jedem empfehlen, der mit einem Mietauto unterwegs ist.

If you are thinking of staying in this area, stop looking and just book this property! Trust me on this. The direct access to two (yes two) amazing rivers with small waterfalls, cascades and crystal clear water is breathtaking. We went into the water daily. So refreshing. We must have taken 1000 pictures. The Casita is small but perfect for solo or couple. We found it to be very cosy and just the right size for our stuff and to cook our meals. There are lots of windows and the sound of the rivers put us to sleep every night. Would return without hesitation.

This villa was beautiful and spacious with gorgeous views. Coltin and Beto were incredibly helpful with everything we needed and we felt right at home.

The stay at Zaca’s was serene and private! We loved being close to both Santa Elena and Monteverde reserves. The restaurants nearby were great, and we took one of Zaca’s recommendations to go to Tramonti and it was amazing! Zaca is very responsive and friendly, and also left little chocolates and apples for us as well. The tiny house did always feel just slightly damp but you are in the cloud forest so everywhere is damp! I would recommend this place and would return if I am back in the area!

El lugar es como las fotos, tiene una limpieza impecable, súper equipado. Todo está en excelente estado. Recomiendo llevar un carro grande ya que al llegar es muy empinado y con calle de piedra.

We stayed at Steve's house located at The Point and had an amazing experience. The house is extremely comfortable, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. The open spaces make you feel connected to nature, even when you're inside the house, as you can see the pool. From the kitchen window, you can spot howler monkeys in the trees behind the house, which was a delightful experience. The house has two safes, providing peace of mind when leaving valuables behind. It's in a great location, very close to surfing beaches and other businesses, making it easy to find food and nice restaurants. Everything was impeccably clean, and the host (and his team) were extremely responsive and accommodating to our needs. We are definitely looking forward to returning and renting this property again in the future! Pura vida!😊

Wonderful experience! The house was very nice and spacious. Lovely outdoor space, huge pool, nice outdoor dining and BBQ area, beautiful views especially during sunset time! Beds were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms, good house for large groups. Kitchen had everything you could need. Definitely make sure to have a 4x4 car like the description suggests, the drive to house from main road is about 20 min of steep hills and dirt/gravel road. You get used to the drive after the first day. Worth it for the amazing views and privacy at the house. We were able to spot many animals around the house and enjoyed having breakfast and dinner every day with spectacular views. They have many pool floats and toys. The host was very friendly and quick to respond for anything we needed. Thanks for everything! Pura Vida

We loved our stay! The house was spotless and gorgeous. We loved having breakfast outside everyday and enjoying the view. The hammock outside was wonderful and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the stream. It had everything you needed for cooking meals and feeling at home. The location was close to chirripo national park and just an hour and a half from Nauyaca and eco chontales. Nina was so kind and helpful. 10/10 would recommend!!

Loany’s place at Ciudad Del Mar is truly a gem! The community is stunning—beautifully landscaped, secure, and just minutes from the beach. The home itself is cozy, immaculate, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. The layout was absolutely perfect for our group—ideal for two small families or a family traveling with in-laws, offering just the right amount of shared space and privacy. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in my life! My sister and I felt at home right away, it’s so cozy, warm and very clean. It’s a comfy place! There is many restaurants and supermarkets walking distance. And what can we say about Heilyn?! She is a super host, she is sweet, kind, respectful, very helpful! Excellent woman!
