Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Pyrenees

We went this weekend with my husband and it was an incredible experience, the apartment is very well cared for and with great taste, super clean and very well equipped. The incredible whirlpool tub! It is perfect if you are looking for relaxation and intimacy. Highlight the tranquility of the area, the common areas are very good! The heated pool is a treat. David took care of us wonderfully, very attentive and pleasant! We'll be back for sure! Thank you for your hospitality.

Arrived in a 9-person minibus, all retired and not necessarily good walkers, the place filled us immediately both with the services and the welcome of Kattalin's parents, unfailing simplicity, a kindness rare these days, a landscape and a breathtaking view. On the last day, we allowed ourselves to have a barbecue with local products, on a sunny terrace, what more could you ask for. I think I'll keep this address in a corner of my mind because in half an hour, you're in Spain, caves and chasms nearby, welcoming restaurants and the sea 3/4 hours away. A relaxing home, perfect for disconnecting! The only noises heard are those of the bells of the sheep and goats passing right in front of the house, our son's favorite attraction. Everything you need is in the accommodation for a pleasant stay, special mention to the stove which makes the accommodation even warmer. Many thanks to our hosts for the special touches and your recommendations (delicious lasagna from the gourmet mill). We didn't go on beautiful hikes but it is also possible to take short walks from the accessible accommodation (with a 2-year-old!), accompanied by the local cat who kept us company for a good part of the stay!!

The description is accurate. As a couple, we spent 3 nights and enjoyed a good part of a day at the accommodation and its peaceful exterior, with very little facing each other. We loved our two nights at the farm. An amazing, beautiful, tranquil place with animals who make you feel right at home! Laurence was a generous and kind host. I highly recommend if peace and nature is what you seek.

The super equipped house, nothing is missing! Vicky's Attention is very good and fast. He is very friendly and attentive to the entire stay. The perfect environment to unwind a few days with the family. Highly recommended !!

We really enjoyed the stay. Both hosts were kind and helpful and very responsive to the messages. The apartament itself had everything we needed including all kitchen amenities, dishwasher, washing machine, cleaning kit etc. The view from the living room and garden was breathtaking and the apartament was furnished and decorated with a very good taste. The apartament was generally very clean and well maintained however a few appliances could do with being repaired/replaced. We relaxed in the hot tub however I am not sure when was the last time it was deep cleaned and serviced. Overall I’d highly recommend staying there and would be very happy to visit again!

Small apartment and you don't need more because it is very well distributed, as well as very nice. The views are great. Everything you need. Next to the start of the Three Waterfalls route. I would do it again at this place without a doubt. Comfortable bed and pillows. Absolute silence. Heating.

We had a fantastic stay! The house is beautiful, authentic, cozy and clean. The house has a beautiful garden and the view is phenomenal. There are nice places in the area to swim in the river or in a lake. The mountains are easily accessible for a nice walk. Communication with Pau was very easy. We had a great time with Pau and Wafa and ate and talked together. We highly recommend it and hope to come back again!

Everything perfect. Patrick and Michelle are very simple and expected. It felt like a home away from home. The small lake with the park is beautiful for children and to rest in nature.

We stayed several nights and were very warmly welcomed. The hosts Kaire and James have many fun and interesting tips for visits in the area. The location is very quiet and you can feel the history. Kaire and James, for a great stay!

We had a great stay at Francis' place in Cauterets. The apartment is situated just outside of Cauterets centre (abut 10-15 min walk). This is clearly a 'ski resort' and we were there out of season so everything was very quiet with a number of shops closed, which suited us as we were looking for a quiet 'get-away'. We found it to be a good base from which to visit the most popular and interesting places in the area such as Foret de la Vallee-de-Saint-Savin, Lac du Gaube, Lourdes, Gavarnie and Col du Tourmalet, all of which are well worth a visit. Some truly spectacular scenery! We were there in May and were fortunate with the weather, a little rain, but some fabulous sunny days to see this spectacular scenery. The apartment itself was very clean, warm and comfortable. Francis lives downstairs, so was always available with help and advice should it be required. A very friendly and amenable host!

Accommodation close to nature, the pool/jacuzzi and the view that goes with it are very appreciable. Well-organized and practical kitchen, very quiet place. Perhaps it deserves a more comfortable sofa, and a better wifi network that sometimes plays hide and seek, or a connected TV? But it doesn't hurt to disconnect a little, especially when the setting lends itself to it. I recommend it.

Great location, right by all the lovely shops and cafes. Apartment easy to access and was safe. Apartment was clean and clutter free, just as the pictures. The host was very proactive and checked in to remind us that we could contact should we need or want anything. Had a fabulous break and would definitely stay again, hopefully be back autumn for another weekend getaway! Parfait!

We spent three very enjoyable nights at Cas Tejedor with our spaniel, Lucky. The accommodation was exactly as described and finished to a high standard with much care shown to retain authenticity. The village is very quiet but there is a small shop for basic necessities. The roads are narrow and parking near the property isn't easy but, once we'd unloaded the car, we moved it to an easier spot . The area is stunning and ideal for walkers or those that just want to drive and enjoy the scenery. Thoroughly recommended!

I am very happy with the stay I had with my children in David's accommodation. He was very responsive, attentive, gave good advice and was conciliatory. I think the apartment is very well laid out for a small space and really well equipped, there is everything you need on site! I keep in touch because ideally located in the heart of the resort (it's beautiful in spring for nature lovers) it must be great in winter too!! The few shops nearby are closed out of season but if you plan everything in advance, it's not a problem, on the contrary, it's absolutely quiet.

Our stay at the house was excellent. From the first moment, we were impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and care in every detail.
