Lago balneabile e dalle acque particolarmente limpide. La temperatura dell'acqua è particolarmente mite ed è possibile nuotare da fine maggio sino ad inizio Ottobre. E' ideale anche come punto di appoggio per chi volesse visitare le numerose località turistiche della zona: Orta San Giulio, il Lago Maggiore con Stresa e le isole Borromee, il lago di Mergozzo, la Valle dell' Ossola, la Valle Strona, la Valsesia e molte altre. Il mio alloggio posto a 600 m d'altezza, è vicino a boschi e sentieri in posizione tranquilla con gradevoli spazi esterni. Comodo posteggio privato proprio sotto casa. E' adatto a coppie, famiglie con bambini e animali. E' a piano terra, può ospitare persone con problemi di deambulazione. Nel cuore della VALSESIA, a pochi KM dal Lago d'Orta e Maggiore, a 5 Km da Varallo Sesia città d'arte con il Sacro Monte e la Pinacoteca e per escursioni in alta e media montagna nella Valle del Monte Rosa.
