Holiday rentals with a kayak in Queensland

The island was great, perfect if you want to get away from it all. The property was spacious and in a great location.

We stayed at this beautiful air bnb with our extended family, 8 adults and one baby. The space was huge and accommodated us all easily. The home is beautiful with stunning canal views and the space was so clean but gave off a really homey feel. There is so much to do at the home, we didnt even really need to venture out. The location is great, a short drive from Caloundra and Mooloolaba which leaves you with endless options for day trips and food. I highly would recommend to anyone looking for a air bnb around this location. We cannot wait to come back!

What an amazing location!!! We felt very spoilt staying here. We enjoyed 2 nights with hubbys parents and it was perfect. Big house, and although it was too cool to swim the kids were still entertained by the pool table and fishing off the pontoon, and the nearby attractions (fyi- the laser tag about 8 mins up the rd is fantastic!) The house was clean, spacious and homely. Kitchen had everything we needed and multiple dining areas to suit every mood. Beds were super comfy, and the double shower was amazing!!! It was so nice to a quick break away and spend our mornings and evenings out the back on the deck overlooking the canal and feeling jealous we didnt have the energy of the locals who were out there paddle boarding up and down all morning. Lucy was extremely helpful with questions and ensuring we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend and we have already started planning trips back to stay again on our next opportuntity for a quick getaway. Thank you Lucy

We had a wonderfully stay at Bens accommodation 😊 It was so lovely to take our doggos on holifay with us 💕 Lots to see and do. Beautiful little cafe just accross the road with yummy burgers. Ben has thought of many things to make yoir holiday pleasent and fun.

Beautiful location on the lake. Definitely a place set up for large families or even multiple families to stay. Probably a bit of overkill for just two friends but, it was a great stay. Lots of amenities and activities.

We had an amazing 4 day weekend at Erins Beach Shack. Whilst dated its a small piece of Australian history which brings back cherished child hood memories for Aussies who had concrete laundry tubs, big back yards, outside fires roasting marshmallows, small cosey houses with the sound of breaking waves in the back ground growing up. The only thing missing was Grandma and her little treats. The shack is part of a buy gone era rapidly being replaced by shiny new alternatives that our family of small children absolutely loved!!! Walking distance to some of the most spectacular coastal views in Australia. North Stradbroke Island is such a special place inhabited by truly beautiful, friendly locals, clearly stoked to be living in a beautiful paradise always up for a yarn. I hope it never changes. The house exterior may look like typical home but inside is filled with well equipped kitchen, play/leisure equipment & cozy comfortable living room. The house can be spilt into private 2 units which give more options for 2 families. Walking distance to lake. The nearest restaurant/grocery is 15-20 min drive away. Overall enjoyed the 3 nights stay with a family of 7.

Jellyfish House exceeded our expectations in so many ways! As an extended family with a wide range of ages, there was something for everyone. Even the dogs were safe and happy in the fully enclosed backyard. The kids loved the pool and slide, the trampoline, and ninja gym. The adults enjoyed the games room and comfy lounges everywhere! So many thoughtful touches - the well stocked kitchen - so many toys! Our family is already planning our next visit!!

Dave and Sallyanne’s property is beautiful !! We had the best weekend stay there and enjoyed every minute of it. Hosts were super helpful and very easy to communicate with. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back soon !!

Private, peaceful and well equipped barn style with lovely design. Cosy, comfortable, clean and central to maroochydore and Bli Bli areas. Pot belly fire was excellent cool nights. Coffee, chocolates a nice touch. Jo was always happy to help if needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Valerie's cottage. The cottage had everything we required to make our stay comfortable. It is within walking distance to cafes and a lovely foreshore. Valerie checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and asked us to contact her, if we required anything. We will recommend the cottage to any friends coming to Brisbane and if we travel to Brisbane in the future, we will definitely book Valerie's cottage.

We stayed at Tim’s place as we were attending a friend’s wedding at Maroon Hill Estate. Our Adult family joined us. We thoroughly enjoyed our mini getaway and family catch-up. It would have to be one of the best appointed Airbnb we have stayed in. We thoroughly unwound together attended the wedding, visited the wineries, and cooked pizzas in the pizza oven and sat around the firepit! It was exactly like the pictures and more. We will definitely be back, not to mention how beautiful the Boonah town is as well. Thankyou for opening up your home Tim. We loved it!

We had a fantastic two-week stay at RJ’s beach shack in Hideaway Bay 🌞🌴— it truly felt like a home away from home. The location is incredible, just a short walk to the beach and reef, which made it easy to enjoy daily swims, beach walks, and kayaking (loved having the kayak provided!). The place was clean, tidy, and had all the essentials 🩵🙌🏽 plus a coffee machine, which was a total win for us. RJ was a wonderful host: super responsive, friendly, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We’re already planning our return trip for next year — can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed staying at Raven House, it was a great way to relax. Cynthia was very helpful and accommodating. The house was beautifully furnished.

Andreas place was perfect for a little getaway. We needed somewhere to stay while at the blues festival. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only problem was the pot holes in the streets from Bangalow.

We, 11 visitors, had an absolutely wonderful 4 days at Ripples. It was a Family Catch Up as we don’t live close to each other and Ripples was the absolute best choice in accommodation as it catered for not only the adults, but the nearly adult kids as well. Fishing and Kayaking were big hits and sitting on the lovely little jetty fishing as the sun went down, showed the most beautiful picturesque view over the water that you could ever imagine. Thank you so much Sharon.

The studio was a perfect weekend escape with all the amenities needed. Julie and Paul were great hosts and would highly recommended their place to anyone

We had a wonderful stay at Wendy’s place, the cottage was beautifully presented with the most comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with a feeling of being in the outdoors. Very thoughtful touches everywhere. A truly restful place, we loved it.

the stay was beautiful and we had a great time, so happy we were able to bring our dog and he loved it. Bonnie left very clear instructions for how to get in to the property (however i wasn't able to see the byron built signs mentioned), and how to checkout. check in and out process was smooth. the airbnb was immaculately clean and beautifully styled, perfect for a couples getaway. also props as it is very disability friendly. really great amenities available with a really well stocked kitchen, BBQ, and utensils. the surrounds and property were beautiful and backed onto a beautiful creek which wouldve been perfect for swimming if it had been sunny. only note is that it was described to be private/secluded. although we had no issues with it, the next closest unit was only around 50m away and when the people staying in the unit returned they were able to see into the lounge room of our unit quite well. very minor criticism as this didn't bother us at all.

Can’t wait to come back. This cabin was perfection. Had the best night sitting by the fire. Laura was so great to deal with. The fire kit and kitchen stocked with eggs/fresh bread and cooking appliances was such a nice touch.

The eco cabin was a peaceful paradise. The spot and cabin was beautiful and the animals surrounding made the stay!

We had a truly lovely and relaxing stay at this beautiful retreat – the perfect escape from the city. Kerry and Barry have created an idyllic place for guests to unwind and reconnect with nature.The property is teeming with wildlife – we spotted wallabies, water hens, ducks, and even caught a 45cm catfish in the lake! The serenity here is incredible. Amy discovered the lake sits at a crisp 20°C after falling in during a paddle-boarding attempt, but fortunately, the 37°C spa was the perfect way to warm up afterwards.Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We’re already looking forward to returning and can’t recommend this retreat highly enough!Thank you again, Kerry and Barry!
