Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and satellite TV (Astra). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Cottage by the lake with hot tub, sauna and sandy beach

This lovely cottage is located a few meters from Lake Vänern and has a sandy beach, wood-fired sauna and a jetty with a wood-fired hot tub for 5 people. Perfect even for winter swimming! The view out over the lake is amazing! The cottage is 42 km v with 2 sleeping lofts, living room with sofa bed, TV, dining area, kitchenette, fridge/freezer, oven with stovetop, dishwasher, toilet, shower and washing machine. Large glass doors can be opened out to the terrace which has a gas grill, outdoor furniture and sun chairs. This is a quiet, nature-laden accommodation 15 km outside Lidköping.

Small summer gem on the west side of Kinnekulles.

Unwind in this one-of-a-kind and quiet space. Magnificent and varied nature with easily accessible hiking trails, cultural-historical surroundings and both beach and rock baths. Sunny location morning to night with hammocks between the fruit trees that bestow shade if needed. Small flagging that the ceiling height of the 2nd floor is lower than standard. 2 km walk to train connection. October-March, the house is rented out monthly. The price indicated then refers to "cold rent", ie the cost of heating and electricity consumption.

One bedroom with a luxury bed for two and one room with a very comfortable foldable bed sofa for two and a kitchen area. Wood stove sauna, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The host lives in a house about 50 meters further away from the beach. The kitchen is for simple cooking, using a frying pan is not allowed, but charcoal barbecue is available.

In the centre of the mansion with open views over fields, Lake Vänern and pastures with grazing animals in direct connection to the living. Positioned 5 km from Läckö Castle, 9 km from Spiken's fishing village and 1km from the water. Pleasant cycle paths in the surroundings.
