We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

A great spot to end our vacation to Norway. Far enough from downtown to be quiet and close enough to get to great restaurants. Great spot for a family of 5 and easy access to the airport! Highly recommend

Beautiful place with amazing view of Oslo fjord. I decided to choose this place to enjoy the view and Scandinavian atmosphere of the property with friends. And was quite satisfied. The place is very interesting and cozy, and you can look out the window for hours. The owner of Gard is responsive, with a good sense of humor and went to meet us when we needed it. We had a wonderful stay at Victoria’s house in Nittedal! Communication with Victoria was excellent both before and during our vacation. She was very helpful and gave us great tips. The house was perfect for us (2 adults, 2 kids aged 4 and 9). It was super clean, tidy, and beautifully furnished. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was excellently equipped, the living room very cozy, and the bathroom offered both a shower and a lovely bathtub. The location was ideal: about 30 minutes by rental car to both the airport and the center of Oslo. A sledding hill and the Vallingkollen ski area, where you can rent ski equipment, were only 15 minutes away – we had a great time experiencing the Norwegian winter there. Our kids loved it! We also visited the Technology Museum, the Paradox Museum, and the Natural History Museum with the kids – all three are highly recommended. It was such a relaxing and beautiful vacation. Thank you so much, Victoria, for your amazing house.

It was easy to come to the airport, very unfortunately because we were leaving for the West Fjords the next day and only stayed one night, we would recommend it to friends traveling in Oslo

My parents stayed here for a month and loved the place. It’s cozy, the hosts are wonderful and the location is close to a beautiful forest. We would love to come back.

One of the best stays we’ve ever had. The river path is great for running and not far away. The home is cozy and has everything you would need. The bed is very comfortable. Public transportation is very close to the unit and very easy to use. We will definitely stay here next time we’re in Oslo. Karianne was very friendly and responsive. Perfect stay.

Great, very clean and nicely furnished accommodation. Public transport is about a 6-minute walk away. We had a few nice days in Oslo. I highly recommend this place.

The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Check in was easy. The place itself is incredibly clean and has everything you could need for a stay. The view from the bedroom balcony is simply breathtaking. All in all, if I’m ever in Oslo again, I will definitely have this place as my first choice!

Inger was not there for my stay so we had the whole place for ourselves. There is everything you could need to stay there for a couple of days. The apartment was very cozy and the balcony was a very nice touch. The location however was not ideal. We had a bit of trouble finding the bus that takes you to the center and they don’t come that often at night. The building is very quiet and private. The fireplace was lets you keep warm and feel very at home. Everything was squeaky clean and clearly labeled to let us know what we could and could not use. Comfortable bed for a couple. In short, I really enjoyed my time here, the only thing that could get better would be the location if you plan on doing some tourism but this is also clear before you book it. Would recommend!

The apartment is super central and really comfortable. It is also extremely spacious with a lot of light and great views. Kitchen had everything you could want and location can’t be beat.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Julie and Christian’s home for 2 weeks. The hosts were very gracious and responsive, providing us with recommendations and always available when we had questions. The house has ample windows with gorgeous natural light. My two kids, 2 and 5 years old, loved the playroom and trampoline, as well as their lush garden. The location on Bygdøy can’t be beat; a stones throw away from trails to take you to the different beaches, the grocery store is very close, as well as the bus stop to take you to the city. And, if you decide to go for a walk at dusk, you might be fortunate enough to cross paths with baby deer or a fox. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. It felt like a home away from home in the best way.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Arrived late after our flight was delayed but Camilla was easily contactable and getting a taxi to the property was easy and everyone was super happy with the house once we arrived…A little trip to the roof for a moonlit view over the fjords was and Oslo lights was magical and was a great start to our Norway trip - the views from the property in general was a highlight of the whole trip. The property was really well styled and functional - couldn’t have been more happy.

Beautiful location. Is a true farm house setup separate from, but right next to the main house (which is host occupied, I believe). Is rustic with some nice updates (eg. bathroom). Lots of space - very comfortable for 4 of us and with room outside to exercise 2 big dogs. close to ski trails, very convenient to the airport, and less than an hour to the heart of Oslo.

This place is stunning! Arguably better than the images show. Stian and Ingunn’s place is beautiful, homely and a lovely space. Accessible tram into Oslo and definitely gave the group a great stay in the city.

We were extremely impressed with the property. After an initial walkaround my husband was very complimentary about the fixtures and fittings, although wondered about the amount of space available. I then pointed out to him that there was an entire downstairs he hadn't looked around yet... a huge playroom area, a cellar, another bedroom, bathroom and laundry facilities. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others, and when we return to the area will definitely be checking availability!

Tor and Janne are amazing hosts and were very informative anout the location and their cottage. The cottage and location are even better than the pictures, it is a beautiful and natural location but with a clean and updated house. Very comfortable. This was an amazing way to start our trip in Norway! thanks so much Tor and Janne for beautiful memories!

Absolutely stunning place! Maybe the best jacuzzi and sauna we have ever been to. Perfect for our family trip with loads of toys for all ages. Professional Cross Fit Studio, great kitchen and workplace, fast internet and the best view ever. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay! The place is perfect for families—very spacious with comfortable bedrooms and plenty of room for everyone to relax. The large parking area was a big plus. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the check-in process was smooth. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with family or in a group!
