Thank you so much for hosting us! Everything was as described, communication with the host was very smooth. All seals were repaired after they were reported. The house was clean and the kitchen had the most necessary cooking utensils. The location of the house is quite convenient, but it is necessary to have a car, because it will make it easier to explore the beautiful area. I can definitely recommend this house for rent.

Ivan was a wonderful host. The setting of the villa is idyllic and peaceful. The hot tub is a lovely addition! Dino greeted us and was wonderful during our stay, friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a beautiful setting not too far from many of Sicily’s beautiful places to visit. Thank you Ivan and Dino!

Wonderfully quiet place, Sweet people, fruit from the garden may pick, a delicious breakfast if you want and for us that was very useful and nice because we arrived very late and had not yet done any shopping. We loved this place!

Amazing place, friendly and super helpful. You need a car to get around. We loved the living area, pool, all the cute animals.

Beautiful accommodation. The sea views are breathtaking, the back terrace is well-suited for barbecuing. There's even a pizza oven, but we didn't use it. The pool is small but well suited for cooling off and massage. The house was super clean and Chiara is very nice and helpful. We had a fantastic time and would be happy to come back.

We had the best time at Villa Antica Aia! Nobody believed that we are really going to stay in such a lovely, clean house with a beautiful garden, swimming pool, a please to cook and eat inside and outside. I don’t need to describe more because the villa looks exactly like on the pictures!! Oriana is the best host we’ve ever had, very kind, polite and always helpful. She welcomed us with apperitivo, showed us around, explained everything, was always available for us in case of questions where to find something. Thank you again and see you next year!

Roberto and his son Erik were just great. We stayed in Villa Bismarkia which was clean and tidy. Everything you might need is available and the common areas were so well-maintained and nice. Recommend starting this home!

Highly recommended, If you like space, freedom, a friendly host and privacy. This was the perfect base for us to then visit the beautiful beaches and discover the area. Less than 10/12 min from the beach and return to a detached house with great views. We stayed here in mid-June. In terms of temperature, it was just possible to do this at night. We as Dutch people might have found it too hot in August. All in all a great place that is worth more than your money. 10/10!

Salvatore was a fantastic host. Responsive and informative on check in. Place was in a beautiful location across the road from the water and a small beach. Stunning sunsets. Unfortunately we were there on a public holiday weekend so lots of noise from the restaurants below. Otherwise perfect.

Amazing place! We absolutely loved the house, the garden and the view. It had everything we need and we enjoyed having long sunny breakfast mornings on the terrace with sea view before starting our trips around the area. The location is a short drive from Sampieri village which has an amazing beach with good parking facilities, a few beach bars/restaurants and a small Despar supermarket (they also can make delicious sandwiches for you in the salumeria). The house was our base to explore the Southeast during our trip around Sicily and we visited Siracusa, Noto, Modica, Ragusa and Scicli, stunning! Our stay was in May and seems around that time there are lots of moscitos in the evening at every place we went to so remember to bring some spray, creme etc if you have issues with that like me. We had wonderful days and it was also very nice to meet our host Elisabeth in person on the last day of our visit. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and modern villa, located on Salvatore’s property. Despite being on the same grounds, we had complete privacy with our own terrace and a lovely barbecue area. Salvatore was incredibly helpful and always available when we needed anything. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and places to explore, which really enhanced our trip. The terrace area is peaceful and green, with sunbeds available for relaxing in the sun or in the shadow. The nearest supermarkets are about a 20-minute drive away in Syracuse. All in all, a perfect stay!

This is really a unique place to stay at. Located in the heart of Ortigia , this historic charm of this building and town is something that we really cherished. Carola’s place was also the most stocked with amenities (q tips, shampoo, soap etc). We would definitely recommend this place to anybody who actually wants to stay in Ortigia and walk to all the best parts of Syracuse.

Extremely convenient place to explore Siracusa, with most places to see within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. A very clean and comfortable home, with every amenity taken care of, you could stay here long term. Emanuela and Peppe are communicative and helpful hosts. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic bnb in a great location Super sunny & bright. Spacious. Lovely view over the beach & water. Very comfortable. Solid A/C. & 1k to one of the best restaurants ever, Manna! Don’t miss this amazing dinner spot! Good deli & fruit stand near the other end of pier. Livia very helpful & responsive host. I’d come here again for sure!

Helorus Villa was nice , the peaceful secluded surroundings of lemon tree orchards is very nice but also an easy 5-10min drive to the supermarket and Noto township and 15mins to the beach. The pool area is very nice although not a lot of shade . We stayed in the upstairs villa and had friends staying downstairs which made for nice meals together on the balcony . The Villa was nice , tidy , well equiped , good air conditioning and had a delightful welcome hamper with some basics which was greatly appreciated as we arrived after a long day of travel. Roberto was a very responsive and helpful and the grounds keeper who lives on site but away from the villa and never intruded was also very friendly .

Angela & Giuseppe were amazing hosts. They made us feel right at home and offered so many great recommendations during our visit. They were present in their adjacent home throughout our stay, & they were there if we needed anything but also very respectful of our privacy at the same time. I have never interacted so much with an airbnb host before as they are really lovely people. The property was so beautiful and relaxing. It was a great place to start & end each day of our visit. I really hope to get back there again and cannot recommend their place enough. There were so many great historical sights, beaches & restaurants within a short, (10-30 mins) drive from their place.

We spent a wonderful week exploring the sights of Sicily (you definitely need a car) and having the oasis of Charlotte’s beautiful home to chill in the afternoon and evenings. The pictures do not do the garden justice and is a charming sun trap where we picked lemons and rosemary for our meals. Charlotte was on hand to answer any queries - the nearest supermarket (2 minute walk away), bakery (the sweetest place a 5 minute drive away), how to use the washing machine but never intruded - it is completely your own space. We visited Siracusa, Ortigia, Noto, Ampitheatre, Avola (beautiful beach, free parking, gorgeous ice cream shop on main road) and Ragusa (1.5 hour drive but spectacular views and so worth it!). We had a fabulous week, made all the better by Charlotte 🙂

Wonderful villa just outside the beautiful town of Modica. Ideal location for visiting the spectacular baroque architecture of Modica, Ragusa and Noto, and within a reasonable distance from sandy beaches. The villa is exceptionally well equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained by Georgio who lives next door. We loved sitting outside and eating at the traditional ceramic Sicilian table and appreciated the various shady seating areas around the house and gardens. The swimming pool is a highlight and is kept clean and very well maintained by Georgio. Many thanks to Jennifer and Georgio for a wonderful week’s holiday.

My family and I (9 persons) had a great time in Modica. The place is amazing, with the separate kitchen and the 3 houses. Also the garden and the swimming pool are great. Sofia was very kind and helpfull during our stay. We would recommend this place!!

We are a family of hearts, as Sicilians say, but few Sicilians meet like this. The accommodation is small but well-finished and full of all the comforts. The area around Serena is surrounded by greenery, an incredible peace. The pool is beautiful and pleasant. The sea is just a stone's throw away, with beautiful beaches!

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The hosts were just lovely, always ready to do a favor and very welcoming. Their kindness and availability made the experience even more enjoyable. House was clean and with everything equiped we needed. 5 big beautiful bed rooms, every room with an own bath. the garden is nice and we enjoyed the pool very much (can recommend the paid heating especially with children). the beach nearby (100m) is also very beautiful and we loved the smooth walk into the water and the dunes. just as an information: there is no marker or restaurants in walking distance. but some good restaurants in 5 min distance by car, and bigger super markets in 10 min distance.
