Monthly Rentals in Rail Road Flat

Creating memories with adult children who are living their own lives can be hard to schedule. We found the perfect opportunity for a quick weekend getaway hosted by Leif. What we thought we were getting was a house big enough to host our group. What we got, was so much more! As soon as you walk into the space, you realize that the pictures you saw on the posting do not do justice to the real thing. You’re transported into another era where life slows down and you realize the simplest of things are the really important things: like family. My children especially enjoyed the opportunity to meet Leif’s animals and feed them rinds and banana peels. Peanut was the star of the show ( if you know, you know). Thank you, Leif, for a beautiful weekend that provided a much needed respite, but offered so much more than we were expecting. We can’t wait to come back and make this a family tradition though next time we will stay longer and be more prepared with our animal food supplies : )

Fantastic house in a beautiful rural setting! The house is spotless and spacious. Well-appointed kitchen and pantry. First Airbnb we’ve stayed in that actually has storage containers for leftover food! Plenty of paper products, bath supplies and towels. Comfortable sun room and covered porch for relaxing. Hosts are very responsive! The setting is beautiful - very rural. It was fun to cook at home and relax at the house. Strong WiFi. The towns of Murphys (shops, pubs, eateries) and Arnold (Big Trees State Park is beautiful!) are each a 40 minute drive. Would definitely return to this beautiful home!

This was most definitely a relaxing place to stay the home was clean and comfortable the yard was amazing for my pups they got to enjoy the stay just as much as we did. Natalie was very responsive and respectful. Definitely a great place to get away from the busy city life. If you’re looking for a place to just relax and enjoy the outdoors this home is definitely the place you want to stay.
