The place was easy to find and plenty of space for our family to enjoy Northern MN. It isn't too far from the local stores. It was an easy location that is accessible if you want to explore Duluth, Silver Bay, Lusten and Grand Marais. Thank you.

Roomy and very clean, comfortable. The decks were a big plus, as the weather was better than expected. Well-stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Host was readily available to answer questions. Great location for hiking the shore, waterfalls, and rivers at nearby state parks. Grand Marais was just 20 minutes north; Coho Cafe always great (Salmon Chowder!); dining at Blue Fin Bay was easy, but mixed reviews on our meals.

We stayed twice last summer, and now again this summer. Wonderful home with everything you can think of available. Super clean, beautiful deck and yard, convenient dock out front for the boat. Great local restaurants. Everyone so friendly. 100% recommend.

Great place for a small family getaway. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown. Mike was a great host and made our stay very easy and enjoyable.

Melissa‘s place made a great homebase as we explored Hibbing and biked the Wasabi Trail. We enjoyed all the space; it had everything we needed, and then some. The off street parking was very convenient.

No complaints! The barnb was a great spot to stay during our golf trip.

Had a great stay, the location on the water is perfect. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The place was as described. There were several things labeled as out of order including some of the windows and didn’t appear to have central air. One note was that the water got to be pretty dirty by the end of the weekend and had a musty smell to it. All things considered it did its job for a guys fishing weekend, close to a public access, not far from the casino, and had a dock to make quick stops for grabbing items at the place.

stunning place! well-stocked, uncluttered, fresh and modern. Lots of room for our group (2 couples) and we could have brought a few more as far as beds and open space. Kitchen table is huge! we loved that. 1.5 bathrooms was a tad challenging at times with the lone shower between 4 adults. The half bath (toilet and sink downstairs) was handy. Currently the road construction (June 2025) closing the residential street was a little crazy the first day but Anne told us exactly where to access parking through alley behind the house. The gas BBQ grill was useful too!

Jennifer’s place was impeccably clean! We had everything we needed and more!! Jennifer was so kind and let us lock our E-bikes in her garage (that was a big plus in our book)! This was easy to get to and easy instructions as well. We did a short bike ride to the Hibbing access of the Mesabi trail from her house. We highly recommend Jennifer’s place!! Thank you so much!!

My family and I had such an incredible stay at Jennifer’s lake house. It was the perfect combination of spacious, cozy, and private for us to spend our Christmas week there. The location and wintry weather had us feeling like we were in a snow globe. The house was even decorated for the season, and had more than enough room for the group we had. Makes me excited for the summer months, as I would absolutely book here again!

All four couples agreed this was a great place! Annie was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful -- her super host designation is clearly deserved. Super easy entry, plenty of parking, spacious home w/two nice screened porches in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Probably the best equipped/stocked kitchen I've seen, including great welcome snacks. Comfy beds, nice showers, and the best most fluffy towels ever! Walls are a bit thin, but useful sleep machines are provided in each room. Bring an old record to listen to and maybe contribute to the house collection! Perfect for Giants Ridge golf - 5 minutes from the Quarry, 10 mins from the Legend, and 40 mins to the Wilderness in Tower. Thank you Annie for a wonderful stay!

Amy was super. Weren't sure when we'd arrive, and she allowed flexibility for check-in. The home is gorgeous! Everything was immaculate. Kitchen is very well appointed for chefs who want to prepare meals from pop tarts to posh dinners. Great for families. More than adequate bathrooms and living space. Nice garage—no need to brush snow! This house is a lovely, getaway. What a wonderful setting in Historic Hibbing! It's an attractive, welcoming town, ideally adjacent to Sax-Zim Bog. Great for birders. We are wildlife watchers visiting from Missouri (meeting w/friend from NY) to view the owls around Sax-Zim this invasion year—out early in the AM, and late after dinner. Enjoyed the living room to relax and plan itineraries for the following day. I can imagine a spring visit for Warblers migrating north, and fun exploring the Historic sites, local shops and eateries in walking distance!

Awesome place to stay! The host is very responsive, getting back to me very quickly. There is plenty of parking, enough for our 2 trucks and boats. The house is very nice and clean, and it is a great location. The only drawback was the fish could have participated better for us, but we had a great stay. Thank you!

We stayed with family for ice fishing vacation. We had such a good time. Favorite part is all the fish we caught and the easy access to drive onto the lake. Very clean. Would visit again.

We used the space primarily as for sleeping and place to get cleaned up after/before each day. We have family in town without room to house everyone. So our needs may not be the same thing others are seeking. The kitchen itself is adequate and the large fridge freezer would meet most families needs for storage. There was a lower level window AC that cooled that level nicely. The upstairs was a little more stuffy, but with windows open and a box fan running, it cooled down nicely for sleeping. The bedrooms were good sized and having 2 bathrooms with a tub/shower and a shower met our needs for a place to sleep, clean up. The location just a block off the main road provides easy walking access to shops and restaurants. That would be very attractive to many people. For people wanting the full stay experience with meals and leisure time the place would meet their needs. Would definitely recommend this place for the location and pricing. Suzanne was a good and gracious host!
