Coach House Cottage a perfect seaside retreat

Coach House Cottage is an old Fishermans cottage above what used to be a stables and coach store (Now a dinosaur and fossil museum). Well situated, above the main street, in the lower part of Robin Hoods Bay it is moments from the beach, the dock, and the hustle and bustle of village life. The cottage is approached along cobbled alleys and/or up a series of stone steps. It is set in its own private back alley. Due to its location our much loved cottage is not for you if steps are an issue!

Built 1710 this former fully restored fisherman’s cottage, has the benefit of rear door access to our owned grass area ( the 3 adjoining “ second home” cottages have the right of access)overlooking the Bay, with our own picnic bench.Coal (supplied)and log stove with gas central heating ( Nest system). The bungalow is private, detached, not overlooked & is spacious, bright with stunning views from every window. From the front you can see Whitby Abbey and harbour, from the side there’s a lovely view of All Saints church approx 20 metres away & from the rear there are uninterrupted views of the Yorkshire countryside. The gardens extend to around a third of an acre and are secure.

Hilda Cottage is a 17th Century dwelling. The front door enters to the living area, downstairs is the kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom (WC ensuite) with sea views, and main bathroom, the top floor is the loft bedroom (double & single bed) and sea views! Our Mini Pod is situated near the coastline & the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, Between Whitby & Scarborough. Driving to either is a breeze, Scarborough is about 15 mins away & Whitby about the same. Our site is a few minutes away from the Old Scarborough to Whitby Railway line ( also known as the Cinder track ) a walker & bike friendly trail. The Cleveland Way also in walking distance. Our site is small but friendly and over looks the peaceful countryside. Adults only
