Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Real County

This was our second time to stay at this property. I’m sure we’ll be back a third. I promised everyone that they’d be happy with it and they definitely were. Lots of room for everyone, while still feeling cozy. We were there for my step-mother’s funeral. Tate let us check in early so that we could get everything ready for the following day. We really appreciated the flexibility.

Very nice and cozy ranchito cabin. Easy to access and spacious inside and outside. Family oriented and very friendly hostess. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Betty's Airbnb was perfect and location is great. The pet friendly aspect was the biggest highlight for us. The pups had room to run and play and expend all of their energy. The only caveat is that the property is very close to Ranch Rd. 337 which is a busy road, and is not fenced off, so do not expect dogs to free range unless they have superb recall or E-collars. The kitchen is well equipped, the home very clean, and the the front and back outdoor space is very nice. It would be great to have a gate closing off the front porch for kids or pups but we did fine. Also a door closing off the upstairs bedroom for privacy would be ideal, but again, we had no problem with it. Our only challenge was the rude "Karen" neighbor who owns the land between the home and the river, so river access is not as easy as it could have been and they claimed to also control who swims in the public waterway in front of their home. Despite that, we had a blast and highly recommend.

Beautiful, quiet river getaway! Loved the place and the area. Host was amazing and super helpful! Birdwatching was a bonus.

This is our second time staying at Hawk’s Haven. Just as good as we remembered it the first time, plenty of space for our kids and grandparents to share the house for a long weekend trip. The location, size and comfort of this home is what will keep you coming back for future stays. The only ‘con’ if any are the stickerburs in the area that you may track into the house, wearing socks and tennis shoes helped tremendously. The host, Blanca, was also great. She was super transparent and communicative about everything. It was never hard to get in touch with her. She’s great at what she does! Thank you for another great stay. We hope to come back again.

We had a wonderful relaxing quick trip. A really quaint, quiet and peaceful house. We will definitely be returning. Host was amazing and very communicative. We loved that it was off the beaten path. Overall delightful time.

We had a great stay, nothing to complain about at all. The outside trash can needs a lid due to a racoon... LOL. Other than that, perfect for us and a great location for what we had planned. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! There was plenty of space and it had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The facility was very clean and well-maintained. Booking and check-in were simple and hassle-free, and we felt safe throughout our stay with the secure setup. The location was perfect — extremely close to Garner, which made everything super convenient. It was the perfect spot for our Mom and Daughter’s trip with friends. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends!

We had an unforgettable stay at this cabin. I surprised my boyfriend with this trip for his birthday. The cabin was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect getaway. The amenities were wonderful, especially the jacuzzi tub, which added a special touch to our stay. The surrounding nature was stunning, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. While visiting we also got engaged at Lost Maples Natural Area, making this trip even more memorable. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved every moment and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!

Roger and Bel are very good at responding back fast and their home is so cute. If you want a place that is peaceful, quiet, clear water, beautiful fish and just to have fun without a lot of other people there. This is the place to go. Had the best time and caught a lot of beautiful fish!

Our first time to Leakey. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The river was a small walk from our cabin. Loved how peaceful and beautiful the whole farm was. Will definitely be back next year.

It was a perfect little cabin. Front porch swings were so relaxing after long day at the river.

Our stay was everything we hoped for and more! Amanda was very responsive and got us in last minute! We arrived late and everything was ready to go for us. She even had the staff turn on the A/Cs before we got there! The property is beautiful and secluded, but still right outside of town in case you need any last minute supplies or you just want to go check out the local shops! We will definitely be back!
