Holiday rentals with a kayak in Reed Creek

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

Was a beautiful home, and we would happily stay again. We arrived right after storms had passed through and had no power for for first few hours. Hosts were very accommodating in making sure house still got cleaned and ready even without power. They offered to refund our first night if wanted to delay coming, and were keeping me posted almost hourly of updates. Was no fault of theirs, just Mother Nature. Loved the kayaks and all the board and card games. The deck and views are worth the whole place. Even provided s’mores supplies to make. Also the beds were extremely comfortable! Could not have asked for a better get away. Would love to return!

Beautiful home and beautiful location. Robert was friendly and made great recommendations for boat rentals. The home was perfect for our family. We loved sitting on the dock swimming and fishing during the day and enjoyed the fire pit at night while the teenagers played pool and ping pong.

Very peaceful and cozy home. Super clean and well organized. Very good cookware, plates and utensils. Great deck and Lake view! The only thing I wished was that we had booked a longer stay. Time went way to fast! Just a heads up for those who bring a boat, it would be best to launch before you proceed to the property. It's a tight area with a trailer.

The place is amazing! It’s in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful lake views and morning visits from baby deer - you really can’t ask for a better spot to recharge from city life as a family. The house was spacious and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need (and more) for a comfortable stay. There’s also a tucked-away playroom above the garage with rocking chairs and a kids’ craft table, my boys absolutely loved it and spent hours building Legos while their exhausted parents relaxed on the beautiful deck at night. We didn’t have a boat, but still enjoyed the lake to the fullest, the hosts kindly provided a paddleboard and kayak. The walk to the dock was literally just two minutes, with a gentle entry into the lake that’s perfect for little ones, no sharp drops to worry about. The food in the area was hit or miss, but we highly recommend El Arriero at The Shores (fantastic Mexican food) and Grove Fork BBQ. We loved this place! Thank you for having us!

Everything was as described. We did not realize that getting to the dock was a bit hard for us seniors. the fishing was great but my wife could not walk to the dock because of the steep grade and no stairs to the water level. The house was kept very nice but could use some safety handles in bathrooms for those of us a little older. Thanks for a great time. Jim and Alice

Perfect home for a family or group. Very spacious and clean, fully stocked kitchen we cooked dinner every night! The dock was perfect for tanning and swimming, our daughters also loved the kayaks and paddle board. Very peaceful location. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a lake trip! I highly recommend this lakeside home for anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable vacation on Lake Hartwell. Our recent stay was a delightful experience, offering the perfect blend of peace, quiet, and easy access to the lake. The owners have clearly put a lot of effort into creating a welcoming and memorable experience for their guests. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful relaxing week at the lake. The house was inviting and cozy and stocked with everything we needed. The exterior was very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. Mary was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

This was the ULTIMATE water sport place to be. I have 3 boys that tore it up like crazy. It felt like every water sport thing you could ever want was there. And the location was phenomenal. My only slight critique is clutter, but I am a minimalist. Highly recommend.

A lovely spot on Hartwell. We really enjoyed our time at this lakeside cottage and loved the views of the lake from the screened-in porch. It's perfect for a couples getaway or even a small family. We had everything we needed throughout our stay :) – beds were comfortable, plenty of bath towels were provided, and our hosts really thought of everything. Would absolutely stay at Bryan and Gina's lake home again!

Aaron's place was a great find. Really close to Arrowhead golf club, which is why we were in the area. They have everything you need for your stay. My favorite part was taking a chair down to the lake and watching the sunrise. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Super easy to get in and out and worked out well over thanksgiving. They have great lake access so we need to return in summer!

Wow. We will be coming back. We booked this last minute as another Airbnb fell through. I was able to book around 6pm and was able to check in within minutes. The host was so friendly and the house was just perfect. So beautiful! We will be back ❤️❤️❤️ beds comfortable, we saw deer every morning and night outside - so peaceful!!

Great spot on the lake! The living area and outdoor areas are perfect for a group to enjoy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook any meal including seasonings. The dock is great and it’s on a cove so the water is calm and safe for swimming. The nearby town of Hartwell is awesome too. Jonathan and Madison were excellent hosts, very friendly and communicative plus easy going. Highly recommend!

Awesome place to get away and relax. The kids had tons to do, the house and dock are full of amenities, and the hosts were super helpful and responsive. We hope to make it an annual tradition!

This host was wonderful to work with. They have been very responsive to us when we needed to contact them. Have been very accommodating to our ever changing schedule. This host has gone over and beyond to meet our needs. We highly recommend them to anyone needing lodging accommodations in this area.

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed on the dock or around the fire pit. Mornings were spent drinking coffee on the deck with the gorgeous lake views. Never even turned the TV on. The house was clean and well stocked. There’s lots to do in the area as well. Definitely will be back.

Highly recommend! We enjoyed a five night stay at Sabir’s cabin and commuted to Clemson daily as our son attended basketball camp on campus. I will say this is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The cabin was warm and welcoming, spotless, and perfectly matched the description. There was no detail overlooked. It was well-stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen was supplied with more than basic necessities. While we didn’t end up using them, we were happy to find a toaster, blender, and griddle for pancakes. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were cozy. The lake was beautiful. We really enjoyed the swing on the dock and the sunbathing mat. We brought our own kayaks as my husband enjoys his fishing kayak but that was not necessary as Sabir had two youths kayaks and one tandem for use. Overall, it was an exceptional place and I cannot wait to return again soon.

Loved the cottage. Right on the lake and very secluded. Great place to relax and get some work done.

This is our second time staying in this location. We had a wonderful trip and it was the perfect peaceful getaway for our anniversary. We look forward to booking again.

Pap’S place was breathtaking! It was even better than described. Everything that you would need to survive your time in this beautiful, serene haven was provided. The host also responded very quickly to inquiries and provided all the information we needed. This might become a yearly stay for us. It was nothing short of amazing!
