Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Reggio Emilia

We were two families with a total of 5 small children. The terrace, which can be locked, is great for the children to play alone for a moment. The accommodation is great for several parties, as the rooms are all distributed and all have their own bathroom. Tim and his mother were always very polite and helpful when we needed something.

We had a really pleasant stay in this cozy apartment with attention to the smallest details. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the fireplace perfectly functional, with wood provided free of charge by the host. The apartment is immersed in the tranquility of the Modena Apennines, an ideal place for those looking to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle. Nearby are several hiking trails, perfect for exploring the surrounding nature. Sergio and his wife were exceptional hosts: kind, helpful and never intrusive. Highly recommended for a rejuvenating break!

We had the best time! The pool was fabulous. And the pasta night was so much fun!

The house is authentic, rustic and very lovingly furnished - exactly what we had hoped for from an Italian holiday. It was especially nice to have breakfast on the porch in the morning and enjoy the view of the countryside. The approach is a bit steep and requires a solid car, but you will be rewarded with peace and a fantastic location. The region is rich in culinary highlights, and short excursions by car are very worthwhile. Our hostess Irene was always available, very friendly and sent us great tips for the area, which inspired us.

A lovely spacious house, elegantly and stylishly furnished (AB&B photos don't really do it justice). Beautiful tranquil location - apart from the Apennine wolves we heard howling one night (a definite bonus in our book). Lovely walks from the house along the river Dolo gorge, and especially recommend the Golfarone waterfall about 25 mins drive away. A 15-minute scramble upriver brings you to a beautiful pool for swimming under the waterfall. Also lovely local neighbours, who offered us homemade wine and jam. Good local restaurants. Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly.

Silvana and her Husband were GREAT Hosts!! The place was immaculate and Super Peaceful!!! Best arrangements and accommodations Close to Bologna!! We spent 5 days, Played Tennis and had a Mega BBQ!! Enjoyed the place immensely, Silvana was a SUPER Host!!! Will surely comeback!!!!

We loved our stay at Giulia’s blue house. Beautiful garden, clean house and Giulia was sweet and helpful.

The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat. A car is essential for getting around. Our host, Lara, embodied the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Despite pouring rain on our arrival, she greeted us warmly and explained everything thoroughly. She texted us recommendations for the best local restaurants and checked in regularly—not intrusively, but with genuine care and passion for her guests’ comfort. Lara went above and beyond, preparing the BBQ for us, offering fresh fruit as a thoughtful treat, and providing delicious pastries for breakfast on our departure day. I would absolutely stay here again!

The estate is simply enchanting, finely and tastefully renovated. The spaces are large, the furniture refined, the bathrooms fantastic and the additional services allow you to fully enjoy the experience. A special note of merit to Anna and Barbara, who welcomed us and made us feel at home, doing their best (always with a smile) to satisfy all our requests. Special mention for breakfast, really great.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Andreina apartment, a recently well renovated farmhouse furnished with a mixture of modern and historic pieces. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Mathieu and Simona live nearby and were very attentive to our stay. It is always a better experience when the owner lives nearby and tends to the property rather than using an agency. The surrounding area is beautiful. The apartment is perfect for those looking to relax and who are looking to do day trips in the surrounding area. It does require a car. Supplies are available about 10 minutes away in a nearby town.

We had a wonderful stay in Brescello at Mariacristina’s. Check-in was incredibly smooth, and the apartment was chic and clean with everything we needed, plus an adorable balcony. Our host was a warm, helpful and communicative. Thank you for your hospitality!

Oksana was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Apartment location is good as it is just outside train station, the place & bed were comfortable and aircon is cool enough in the summer heat. Coffee, tea, water & small snacks were provided. She made really helpful & good recommendations for activities and meals. Lastly Oksana went out of her way to help us with our big luggage storage which we greatly appreciated Plus All in making, she made our stay in Parma memorable. We would stay again

An oasis of peace and serenity far from chaos and noise. As soon as we arrived at Emilio's house, we felt like we had been catapulted into another era. Hay...green...horses...hens and a nice bunny running around the farm...enjoying all this is priceless. Thank you Emilio for the serenity that your house has given us.

Million dollar view. Marco and Laura are the most wonderful hosts and we would happily return to this lovely property. They went out of their way to accommodate us and our guests. The property was exactly what we needed: being two, two bedroom houses, side-by-side; we had privacy, as did our guests. The property is well equipped and we enjoyed using the fire bbq, the pool, playing pool in the evenings. Cooking was delightful, using an extensive array of herbs and vegetation from the garden, planted by Marco and Laura. Our hosts have filled cupboards with towels for the house and for use at the pool and there is a washing machine in each property and a clothes line for drying. The wifi is good. Warm evenings sat at the al fresco patio table, with an exceptional view of snowy mountains and a mountain rock that inspired Dante’s Inferno, is very special. Magical villa that was just perfect for our group of 4 couples. We appreciate that Lisa allowed us to book so early in the season. This is such a fantastically unique home! Loved, loved, LOVED walking through the old section. The bodega was so convenient. HIGHLY recommend Casato Maria Clarice for a special prix fixe meal. We so enjoyed learning how to make cheese at Caseificio Bio Reggiani. Visiting the Spilamberto Traditional Balsamic Vinegar Museum. We would definitely stay here again!

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. We had a lovely stay at Simon's. The house is very nice for a group (8 people in our case) and it is very well equipped (you quickly feel "at home"). The setting is very nice and peaceful. The bedding is also very qualitative. Finally, Simon is a very responsive host and attentive to our requests. We had a tiny problem with the arrival: you have to remember to open the link containing the address with Google Maps (otherwise you can get slightly lost like we did). I really recommend staying in this charming house!

We felt very comfortable in the villa – a beautiful house in a quiet, idyllic location. The surroundings invite you to relax, and Parma can also be reached quickly and easily by car. Overall a very enjoyable stay – happy to come back!
