Holiday rentals with a kayak in Regional Municipality of York

Stayed here for the long weekend to do a few activities in the area and have to say that the space was amazing. Would 100% recommend anyone coming to barrie to come stay here!

We had the chance to spend two nights at this house last weekend. It is a nice, clean, and peaceful place where you can enjoy quality time with your family and friends—especially great for kids, with plenty of things to explore. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at Kristine's lake house for the weekend. We enjoyed the kayaks, hot tub, and fire pit. We'd love to be back!

Our family had a great time at this cottage. It has a spacious kitchen that made meal preparation a breeze, and the ample living space was perfect for our group. Its proximity to a nearby marina was a huge plus, as we could easily rent boats and enjoy the water. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, greeting us upon arrival and remaining responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. Thank you Gloria!

Very clean and a nice place to stay. The bugs were pretty bad so you have to make sure not to leave on any lights outside. That is just the time of the year and it is right on the water so it is to be expected. The WiFi was not working however the host replied to text very quickly. It was not sorted out but not that big of a deal. Would recommend.

This place is so charming. Situated right on the lake - I spent so much time watching the water and enjoying the peace and quiet. Great neighbors- someone gifted me with banana bread when I left! What a wonderful trip!

Karim is a very great host, he is so kind and responsive. He always asks and check what we need while staying here that make us lack nothing. We really recommend this place for everybody who is looking for a place to hang out with friends or family. The environment nearby is very great and peaceful. We really enjoy this place. Our group of seven really enjoyed our stay here. Hosts were super communicative and helpful when we had questions, and even allowed us to check in a couple of hours early upon request. The home itself was clean, in a great location on the water, and had everything we needed for our stay - including the kitchen, which was stocked with all of the cooking tools and utensils we needed for the weekend. Area is super peaceful, and with tons of amenities on the property, we practically lived outside for the weekend. Would recommend a stay here, especially for a larger group. We booked this lovely lakefront spot as a place to stay over the weekend of my father-in-law's celebration of life and it suited our needs perfectly as a family of five plus grandma. The main floor bedroom/bathroom suited my mother-in-laws limited mobility needs and we had ample comfortable sleeping/bathroom space for ourselves and our kids upstairs. The house felt fresh, new and very clean with lovely lake views from almost every room. Our only suggestion is that the kayaks could use a little spring cleaning on the inside but it's tough to keep everything outdoors spotless when there is so much rain. Thank you Daman and team!

This is a lovely spacious property situated on Lake Simcoe. We've enjoyed being there previously and were thrilled to be back. It is a welcoming and comfortable even for our family of 5 adults. Carol is a terrific host with great communication and enthusiasm.

What a great place! We had 11 people. 6 adults and 5 children. There were beds for everyone and because the weather was crap (totally not Byron’s fault - LOL) we were inside most of the weekend. There was enough space and internet bandwidth to keep everyone happy and engaged! Everything was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed! Hope to rent this next year for family fun weekend!

This private cottage was absolutely amazing. My friends and I felt right at home, were very comfortable and safe. With a beautiful backyard view, alongside the fire pit, the bbq grill, and all the other listed amenities I HIGHLY recommend Kandee’s place for a peaceful time with your loved ones. Thanks to Kandee’s communication, we were given immediate instructions whenever we needed something.

Our group enjoyed our stay at Min's cottage. It was as described in the listing, comfortable and with everything we needed for our stay. Min was quick to respond to our questions and was flexible regarding our check-in. We would stay here again.

Lisa’s place was perfect for a quick getaway for my husband and I! We loved the house, found it well equipped to just stop for some groceries and then spent all of our time relaxing. We couldn’t believe how crystal clear the lake was and how quiet and peaceful it was! The bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit!
