Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Renfrew County

My family and I stayed here and loved our stay! This place is beautiful! The design and decor of this place is well thought out and is incredibly well done. The lake view is breathtaking. The little things that they have done (for example: gift basket, stocked kitchen, game room, firewood readily available for bonfire, etc) is what make this place outstanding. The owner is friendly, communicates well and clearly, and definitely cares to make sure your stay is comfortable. My family and I loved staying here, and we definitely recommend this place for everyone else to book and enjoy!

I was visiting for a business trip over in Chalk River. The cabin was a really lovely space. Inside was very nice and clean. Good internet. Good amenities. The host was friendly responsive to all messages. I had a very pleasant time sitting on the porch watching the fireflies in the evening.

We were very happy with our stay. Nice and quiet. We had everything we needed. Thank you for being so accommodating for us.

Roberta's place was everything we anticipated and more. Serene location, private, quiet. The four of us (adults) spent our whole days hiking, so coming at the end of the day to a beautifully kept, inviting place was was very calming. The kitchen (and other rooms) was very well equipped (no clutter) and organized in a very practical way. Both the cleanliness and decor were very inviting. Although we had our own, the free park permit was a nice touch. A fire place inside and a fire pit outside plus a lovely view of the lake from the back deck added charm to our evenings. The host was responsive, proactive and provided clear instructions how to find the place that occasionally Goggle may get confused about. Thank you, Roberta!

Our two night stay was amazing! Its proximity to Algonquin Park was definitely a plus! It was very private and very clean. I would stay here again in the future 😊

We loved our stay at Victoria’s beautiful house and property. The house was very comfortable and decorated to give a very cozy and peaceful atmosphere. The woodworking and renovations are beautiful- loved the photo album showing the process! The kitchen was fully stocked with quality dishes and cookware. The full size fridge, stove/oven allowed us to make home cooked meals with ease. The Keurig machine was a great addition for the coffee lover in me! The large dining table allowed enjoyable puzzle time and relaxing dining. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! The large deck and outdoor furniture let us enjoy the beautiful scenic property. A fireplace and wood were ready for use. The place is minutes from a beautiful beach. The golf course is nearby and very nice. The drive in any direction is scenic. Local grocery stores are a short drive to town. The welcome treats were a fun bonus that we enjoyed! Victoria is a wonderful, responsive host. A+ communication and checkin/checkout

Absolutely lovely spot! We had such a relaxing time here. There was lots to do; kayaking, fishing off the dock, board games, Roku and more. Such a cozy vibe- we are definitely adding it to our list for future getaways. Kees was a great host; very easy to follow instructions and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Great rental location , everything you need was made available or within driving distance. The cottage is spacious and allows for a lot of light which is beneficial for those looking for a stay indoors with a view.

I recently stayed at this cozy Airbnb for 2 nights and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I booked, the host Tony was incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Any questions I had were answered promptly, and he went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for my stay. The place itself was just as described — warm, inviting, and spotless. The fully equipped kitchen had everything I needed, which made it so convenient to prepare meals. One of my favorite parts was the excellent patio area. It was the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy the fresh air, and make use of the BBQ — such a relaxing way to spend the evenings. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful getaway. I’ll definitely be visiting again in the future!

Beautiful private location with all you need for a relaxing stay! Great location if you are catching a local show or touring the Ottawa Valley.

What a lovely space. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Sofabed was topped with a memory foam topper and was so comfortable. Each room had a fireplace giving the whole unit such a cozy feel. Sarah reached out ahead to provide details on arrival and knowing the we were there to see friends for St Patrick’s Day had decorated the unit. She also provided a welcome basket with snacks and a binder with information on the area. Will stay again the next time we’re in Douglas.

Spacious bottom suite, ideal for a family. The host was extremely nice and helpful. The backyard was absolutely beautiful where we enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. Would definitely stay again when visiting Calabogie.

Tom and his wife were wonderful hosts!! Friendly, accommodating, and always available. The home is beautiful, and what a treat having it to ourselves. Breakfast was delish! Great coffee. Stores i.e. grocery, LCBO, restaurants were convenient - but not walking distance. If there was any room for improvement...the pillows could be a little better, and as a senior with a mobility issue - non-slip mat to use in the tub would be greatly appreciated. I would be more than happy to return to this lovely accommodation! (Btw...a visit to NEAT Cafe is highly recommended!).

We had the most incredible stay at this delightful cottage! The hosts were wonderful to communicate with and went above and beyond by leaving us fresh eggs and homemade sourdough—such a thoughtful touch. The kitchen was fully stocked with every tool you could possibly need, making cooking a breeze. The cottage is located on a peaceful island, just a quick 5-minute boat ride away. Upon arrival, we had help unloading the boat, which made settling in so easy. The highlight for us was Sunset Point Rock, where we enjoyed breathtaking sunsets. Swimming was such a joy. The whole experience felt like a dream getaway—cozy, clean, and truly a home away from home. For fellow nature lovers, we highly recommend downloading the Merlin App to identify the many beautiful birds on the island. The fishing was great. We found the Texas Rig worked best. We absolutely loved every moment and can’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely return!

Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

This was our third time staying at the Dream Cabin and each time is better than the last. Roman and Irina are the ideal hosts with their quick response times, easy check-in instructions, lovely hospitality and overall friendly people who never hesitate to answer questions or assist in any way. It’s truly a place of paradise and we will be revisiting for many more years to come. Thanks Roman and Irina!!

We loved it! The cottage is located in a private area on the lake, well-decorated, and has 4 levels making it very spacious. The hottub and sauna were awesome - perfect for our winter stay. We liked the couch in the downstairs living room as it was big and comfortable, and we appreciated the Roku for easy streaming. We had no issues driving to the cottage even after heavy snowfall - the private road and driveway were cleared. Walkways, stairs and decks were also cleared. Plenty of room outside for walks with a dog and other activities. We would highly recommend Siobhan’s cottage!

We stayed at cabin #1 during October 11-13 weekend. We loved this place. Very clean, cute cabin, worth the price. Amy was very quick to respond. There are kayaks, canoes to use, firepit, bbq grill. We had awesome experience. I am looking forward to book it again. I highly recommend this place for with kids trip. There is beautiful playground by the beach.

A very cute log cabin with a beautiful waterfront on a huge property. Super private, quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the cooking utensils I needed. The bed was comfy. My dog enjoyed all the greenery.
