We stayed for a friends wedding. The apartment was very nice and host was super helpful. We went to shops, takeaways and for coffee and everyone we met was very friendly.

Our stay with Margaret on the farm was absolutely fantastic. The location and the views from the house are amazing with some great fishing on the grand canal only 2 minutes away. A great place for walking and cycling with excellent access and parking along it. There are some great places to eat in the nearby towns 20 minutes away. Margaret is wonderful at making you feel welcome and comfortable.

We had the most amazing two nights at Lough Aisling with my family, incl two small boys. The location is unbelievable - quiet, peaceful, lots of green space for the boys, private road for the boys bikes and kilometres of perfectly maintained lakeside and bogside pathways for wandering/ runs! The chalet had a beautiful lake at the front with swans and ducks passing by, and another at the back full of waterlillies. Joseph and Geraldine were perfect hosts - friendly, accommodating and responsive - offering guided walks of the Lough Aisling trails! This place is a perfect escape from the city - surrounded by water and countryside! We will be back!

Eileen's place was absolute serenity. Super quiet and a wonderful place to come back to after a busy day out exploring. Only a 10 minute drive into Tullamore, so easy access to shops and restaurants. We found it a great central location to enjoy day trips from. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet base.
