Waterfront holiday rentals in Rhode Island

There is one word to describe Nichole's condo - DELIGHTFUL! We were in Newport for a family wedding with an infant. We loved that we were so close to the venue on the wharf but out of the crowded streets of downtown Newport. Nichole effectively communicated that there was work being done on the balcony well in advance of our arrival and allowed us a very flexible check-in time which was so helpful traveling with a 7 month old baby. Due to inclement weather, workman came the day after our arrival. Nichole immediately communicated this to us and offered to drop off a bottle of wine. It didn't really impact our stay as we were out and about with different wedding activities. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Air BnB!

We know this property having stayed there over many years. The new owners have done a wonderful job renovating and restoring it decorating the apartment to a very high standard whilst retaining the period features. The kitchen and bathroom have been fitted out to a very high standard with high quality fittings and appliances. The furniture in the sitting rooms is modern and comfortable. The bedroom is a generous size with the bathroom en-suite. There are AC units throughout. We had our own area of the lawned yard with BBQ, chairs, table and Adirondacks all overlooking the tidal salt pond. We utilised this area a lot during our stay. The owners who live on site were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly recommend this property which is only a few minutes walk from the centre of the beautiful village of Wickford yet very quiet and peaceful.

We had a great stay! The location couldn’t be better — walking distance from all the restaurants, shops, and bars downtown. The apartment was easy to find and came with a parking spot right next to it, and it was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Paul and Monica were wonderful hosts: responsible, kind and helpful. I’d recommend their place in a heartbeat! It was so comfy, from the shower to the bed and pillows. We also really appreciated the fruit and beverages! Thanks so much!

Melissa was great. You can easily sleep 5. Walking distance to great seafood restaurant (1 block). Walking distance to casual restaurant/bar. (2 blocks). Parking was not an issue. If you like boats, Bristol Harbor is steps from the house. Great experience!!!

My husband and I visited for a bday/babymoon weekend. Brandon was extremely helpful and communicative both before and during our visit, making sure we had all we needed. The wine and snacks were an added bonus (especially for my husband!). Their location is perfect walking distance to everything on Thames, and is only a mile and change from Gooseberry beach. We hope to be back next year with our baby girl in tow!

This is a convenient, quiet location for a private stay, close to downtown Providence (15-20 min drive). Enjoyed staying here and would stay again.

This place was exactly as the photo's show, super clean and very comfortable. Gail was very responsive and was helpful with recommendations. The only item I would call out is that when entering the address, be sure to click on the one in Air B&B vs. putting it in manually - I ended up on a street with the same name in Barrington RI, which was about 15 minutes north :-) Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend Wendy's place! The location is amazing, and Wendy has thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The space is artfully decorated with fun touches everywhere. The beds were comfy, and there was plenty of space for our group to relax and spend time together. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and we also took advantage of the local recommendations to enjoy some fabulous restaurants. We especially appreciated all the high-quality beach gear - there were plenty of towels, chairs, bags, blankets, and coolers for us to use. We'd love to stay at Wendy's again!

This place was perfect for what I needed. It was cozy, comfortable, clean, simply and beautifully decorated, and well equipped. It was also a wonderful setting with great views in all directions. While the houses are quite close together, it is a quiet neighborhood and it helped that it wasn't high season. Lots to explore nearby and just as tempting to sit on the deck or lie in the hammock watching the world go by. This was more than I had initially planned to spend, and I'm so glad I went ahead with it anyway - very grateful for this spot!

Kerrie and Mark were perfect hosts. Gorgeous location, walk to beach and house was stocked with everything needed for our stay. The dock was fun for the kids. Pond is very shallow and our young kids had a blast kayaking and paddle boarding. We can’t wait to book again next year.

The View - the view ! That’s what we wanted …to sit out by the waters edge and have our coffee and the Adirondack chairs were perfect . The home was very clean , comfortable bed and walking distance to Ocean beach . Sarah was quick to respond to any questions we had . We had a lovely time .

The cottage was as lovely as described and on beautiful grounds. Stephen welcomed us with his delicious homemade carrot cake, a bottle of bubbly and a welcome card for us and a graduation card for my son! It was all delightful! Would definitely stay here again.

Melanie’s house is the perfect vacation house. As soon as you walk in you will be impressed. Beautiful beach decor, clean and well stocked with pretty much anything and everything you could ever need. The view from the top floor balcony is unbelievable!!! We stayed with my in-laws and our older son with his girlfriend for our younger ones URI graduation weekend and we will never forget the 5 days we spent there. We hope to come back soon!!!

John was very responsive and cooperative. The location of John’s home is in a serene and amazing location; on a quiet cove that at overlooks Narragansett Bay.

We were extremely pleased with Sophia's place. Is was exactly as described. It was the perfect hangout for my wife and our two dogs. A couple of steps off the deck and we are on the beach. The views from the living room were outstanding. Given it's location, close to East Matunuck beach you practically have a private beach for the small condo complex we were in. It is very conveniently located, close to Matunuck Oyster House and close to Wakefield and Naragansett for shoping and additional restaurants. The cottage was well equiped and met all out needs, given we ate most meals in. We would definetly stay here again.

I can't say enough about the amazing experience I had staying at Barton's and Suzanne's place. First, Barron responds quickly and goes above and beyond to assure your stay is pleasant, easy and that you're well informed on local sweet spots and activities. He was a pleasure to talk to, as always. When you arrive, you'll first smile at the curated way it is beautifully furnished with every comfort in mind. But, then you'll start to notice the special touches left to make you feel well taken care of. There was a basket of snacks, and water and soda in the refrigerator with a kind note saying to please help your self. Such a special appreciated touch to the make you feel welcome. The location is a few doors down from the Thames St. and easily walkable to Bowen's Wharf and many attractions. I had a wonderful t experience at Barton's place and plan to have the be my only choice for Newport. Enjoy, Kathy

Andrew was great to work with. He was very responsive. I would rent from him again. The unit was really nice and in a great location! Beautiful views from the balcony. The furniture was modern and the unit was very private...only 2 units on the floor. *There were 3-5 of us at a time (depending on the night) staying there very comfortably for my daughter's wedding weekend. On the morning of my daughter's wedding, we had the girls getting ready there for a few hours. We had enough room to move around :) I hope to rent there again for a relaxing get away :)

This Airbnb in Newport is the best I could've hoped for; the views are amazing! I'd totally stay here again in a heartbeat if I ever visit RI.

We are so pleased with our stay which has a beautiful water view! It was so nice to see all the activities and beautiful boats passing by. The condo was clean and spacious and the bed was so so comfortable! We were in the heart of the downtown and were able to walk to the many shops, restaurants and fun activities happening around us! So much to do! We absolutely loved our stay and will hope to book this again. Marc thank you for being a great host! Very easy to check in and accommodations were excellent! :)

This is a very nice location, next to the bridge and peaceful. It would be helpful to know in advance that the checkin front desk is at 150 Conanicus Ave, Jamestown, RI. Although the drive to there is short and pleasant through the beautiful neighborhoods. We actually enjoyed dinner at the same location JB’s on the Water. Rooms are spacious and clean. If you like cook, make sure bring spices and cooking oil, there is cookware. Though the bridge toll is $4 one way to Newport, it is still a good deal.

Great location for a summer weekend in Newport. Andrew was responsive and the unit was very clean.

This apartment was fantastic. All new, very comfortable, and super clean. Perfect spot for my weekend visit to Brown/RISD with family. Great location on Benefit St, right next to the new Brown Bee Coffee shop, which is excellent. Firas was a super responsive and friendly host. I hope to stay there again on a future visit.
