Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rice Lake

Very cute little spot for a girls trip ! Walking distance to downtown and all the restaurants/cafes/ bars. Very clear instructions for the stay 😊

Nortehaus is a great place for some private, peaceful time if you wanted to do indoor things. The sauna room was clean, the kitchen was big and well-stocked with kitchen equipment. It is ~30 minute drive to nearby provincial parks if you wanted to do some hikes.

Tracey and Rodney were great hosts. The home is beautiful. We enjoyed the gallery inside and the river views. The photos and description are accurate. It was great to re-explore Campbellford.

No notes!! My husband and I had an incredible stay here. Aleks and Amy were truly amazing hosts who went above and beyond for us. The space is lovely and we really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We will definitely be back!

James' Lakehouse was the perfect getaway. Incredibly clean, comfortable, quiet and a gorgeous location with easy access to all PEC has to offer.. The hottub with the view of the lake was the cherry on top. We'll definitely be back!

Very nice stay, if we are ever in Port Hope again we will be staying here! Close to downtown, and the place is private and well kept! Would recommend!

Art’s place is one of the best places I’ve stayed at. It’s a big property with lots of space. The waterfront was pristine with clear water and no weeds. The interior has plenty of space to play games, enjoy the view and simply just relax. We would love to spend an entire week there the next time if Art would welcome us back.

Sebastian’s place was absolutely wonderful, my husband and I came for our one year anniversary with no set plans about what we wanted to do in the area. The place was gorgeous, perfect little home away from home, in the mornings we drank our coffees on the front deck watching the butterflies in the garden, and in the evenings the hot tub barn made for a really beautiful evening hangout. Sebastian included a great bulletin board of things to do in the area with a fun ranking system so during the day my husband and I made a little road trip out of the most recommended attractions. I highly recommend the Petroglyph provincial park - it genuinely took our breath away. Thank you Sebastian for such a wonderful stay!

Derek and Doreen were extremely friendly, responsive, and hospitable, everything in the suite and in the backyard was as shown, if not better. They even gave us a gift as we had mentioned our wedding day was the day prior, couldn’t recommend them and this place enough, we would book again in a heart beat, thanks for everything Derek and Doreen!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Robin’s house was located very close to all the arena’s in Peterbourgh. We were there to watch our grandson play lacrosse. Hopefully they will return next year to this tournament. I will definetly be rebooking Robin’s loft. It was just as advertised. I also appreciated the selection of coffees. We had a wonderful stay! The place was immaculately clean and had absolutely everything we could possibly need. From the little touches to the overall setup, it was clear that a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. The environment was incredibly quiet, perfect for relaxing and getting a good night’s sleep. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming—they truly went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. Their lightning-fast responses made communication effortless and reassuring. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, completely hassle-free. Everything was smooth from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Mike & susan and the happiest golden retrievers Molly and Penny were the most perfect hosts. The Bark guesthouse was simply perfect, beautifully decorated, soo spacious, super clean and just wonderfully magical. From the beautiful wood finishes,to the comfy bed, to magical deck view (birds a chirping) to the steel roof that will lull you to sleep during a rainstorm. My gf and I enjoyed our time in as much as our time out. Mike and Susans property is a stone throw away from bike for rental, damn good gin and loads of amazing wine estates to enjoy. And if you want some beautiful wood accents in your home, Mike has honed his carpenters creative side with his own wood masterpieces in his shop. We are definitely coming back for another stay and a longer trip. We recommend this guesthouse to everyone who loves their privacy, a magical setting and comfy luxury.

Jasmine & Scott’s place was even more beautiful than the photos! A truly unique spot that was super clean in a great location. The attention to detail in decor and Jasmine’s friendliness and responsiveness made us feel right at home. We had some issues with the projector when we arrived and Jasmine came right over and fixed it for us while we were out for dinner (at one of Jasmine’s amazing recommendations!). We couldn’t have asked for a better trip :)

We stayed at Mark & Lisa’s place for a night and had a great night. Mark’s very responsive and gave very detailed instructions before the check-in. The place is nice and has all amenities one needs. We didn’t get to use most of them such as BBQ, patio furnitures, dishwasher, coffee machine, etc , due to limited time there, but these are all available.

Nicholas is a solid host overall. Communication was clear and his place in Toronto was clean and well maintained. Would recommend to all guests.

Immaculately clean, spacious, and Beautiful condo. It had everything we need and a few steps to the marina. Easy instructions to get inside and parked. I highly recommend!
