Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Richland County

We enjoyed our stay, home was nice and clean. Owner made sure to think of the details. Owner was responsive to messages. I tried to make sure all the towels we clean and dishes before we left, made sure we left their home nice and neat. We enjoyed our stay. Only thing we didn’t appreciate was on the day of checkout we were woken up at 8:30 am to the sound of the lawn mower in the yard. We wanted to sleep in, and would have left at the given check out time. However we left by 9:30am due to all the noise. We would have just appreciated being left alone until the check out time.

The house was perfect for our needs! The location was great. Air mattress in study provided an extra bedroom. The tables in the kitchen provided a great gathering spot. Check-in was easy. Overall a great experience!

The bunk house was amazing. We were able to extend our stay an extra night with no issues. Beautiful location safe and very comfy! Would happily stay here again and again.

Bethany was a great host. She checked in multiple times to see if we needed anything. The house was very clean and very comfortable. We brought motorcycles and she had no issues with us starting them around the horses. I would highly recommend staying here especially if you enjoy animals.

I absolutely loved this house. I am a big fan of watching birds and I was able to sit outside with a cup of tea and do just that. loved the house and setting! I periodically visit Ashland to see my family in Mansfield and eat at my favorite restaurant South Street Grille. The house was wonderful. I would buy this house in a heartbeat if it ever went up for sale. 😆

It’s a great place to stay. Everything is pretty clean and quiet. The back outdoor space is nice for a small group/family gatherings. The only even close to real complaint we had with the beds were a bit firm, but that’s purely our opinion. All in all we had a great time staying here and would highly recommend it!

Lyle's place was a great place to stay. We visited our son at nearby Kenyon College, and the location was perfect—it was just a quick drive to campus. Lyle's place is a lot bigger than we expected it. At least six people can stay there very comfortably and the place is set up with a crib so it would be a great place for families with little kids. To access the place you have to walk through the back yard lawn. It is not a big deal but your shoes will get wet on a rainy or snowy day and can be a little dark to navigate at night. I would stay in Lyle's place again.

Great little home away from home. My husband and I stayed for two nights as I got to show him my home town. Was peaceful and just what we needed for a relaxing weekend!

Terri and Graham were extremely friendly and accommodating hosts. They proactively communicated with us and ensured we had everything we needed. Terri was also so kind as to give us a tour of her property and it is evident how compassionate and knowledgeable she is about farm and livestock care. The apartment itself was adorable, well decorated and equipped and was in a safe and secure location. We would 100% stay at this property again and we thank Graham and Terri for their hospitality!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was worried about it being an apartment and not having much privacy but it felt very private. The beds were VERY comfortable and that’s always a gamble when staying somewhere. Very clean. We enjoyed having drinking water provided as well. We enjoyed being right in town within walking distance to the brickyard. We will definitely stay here again next year for this event if we have the chance to. Highly recommend.

Another great stay at Linda’s place! Truly the perfect location for spending the weekend at Oberlin college. We were in town for commencement and felt so fortunate to be able to return to Linda’s place for midday reprieves or for a nightcap with fellow parents. A delightful and comfortable stay for a wonderful weekend!

We have stayed here multiple times, and it is always a great experience. Kelly is the absolute best. Looking forward to staying again. Oh, and Kelly makes the best brownies and banana bread.

If you're in Mansfield, OH and need a place to stay, the mothership is conveniently located, the rooms were clean and beds comfy, and you have a nice outdoor area to hang out in. Jeff is a responsive host, and our checkin and checkout were seemless. He made sure each room had waters, towels, etc. We were a party of 8, and having so much space was much better than cramped hotel rooms for our weekend at Inkcarceration. Oh, and if you're in a band, there's a stage and a recording studio! As my crew are all music lovers, we were amazed.

Missy was an amazing host, super friendly and helpful. We love the place & had a lot of fun in the pool with the kid. We really enjoyed our stay!🙌🏻✨🥰

This home and yard are beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings, and the location was close to Mohican for hiking and a family wedding. We wish we had our dogs with us, because the yard is dog heaven with lots of nature and a stream to explore. There were a few insects, but this is to be expected with a home in the trees.

We had a wonderful time at Frog Water Farm! It is a beautiful spot—quiet & peaceful. The house had everything we needed including a lovely screened in porch for reading, meditation, meals, etc. We loved the fact that there are hiking trails on the property! This is great spot to stay & visit for sure!

So serene, calm and clean. Amazing place, with great hosts who answered questions promptly. Loved the flow, gathering under the covered porch then, stepping into the hot tub which was nestled right next to it, and a few steps below to the fire pit… and repeat. Will be back! Thanks for the relaxing weekend

Beautiful house and the location was perfect in relation to our wedding venue. we're definitely coming back at a later date just to enjoy Mohican. Maybe I'll even bring my horses next time!

This cabin was very clean and comfortable. It is in a peaceful setting in the country, perfect for two people. It is close to Mansfield and Mohican State Park. The hot tub was so relaxing!

We stayed at Francisco’s A-Frame cabin during the American Triple-T triathlon weekend. It was just the right size for us and just a couple minutes away from the beach at Pleasant Valley Lake. The cabin is on a quiet side street and the hot tub is behind the cabin for some privacy. During the stay I was in contact with Francisco and he responded promptly. After the stay I noticed I forgot something in the cabin and Francisco allowed me to retrieve it. It’s a great cabin for a stay near the lake.

I spent 11 days there and really enjoyed the home… It had everything I needed while I was there. Location is very quiet rural peaceful had deer in the yard turkeys in the yard. Had a great time. Thank you.
