Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Rideau Canal

Vincent was amazing. The place was beautiful. Everything was walkable.

I was in Ottawa for a conference and wanted to stay near the venue (Carleton University), which made for a nice walk. Great amenities nearby including a Shoppers Drug Mart and Whole Foods. Loved the Vietnamese Kitchen pho restaurant at the top of the street. Was able to do laundry, blow dry my hair, and iron my conference clothes. Bathroom was thoughtfully equipped with bandaids, tampons and cotton balls. Two types of towels, to suit your preference. Bed is large and comfortable and I slept great. Stairs down to the entrance are a bit narrow, so need to be careful going up/down, especially if you have big/heavy luggage.

Quite area, 15 mins to downtown Ottawa and the Nordik Spa.

Perfect experience. Hosts are very communicative and sent detailed check-in instructions before our arrival which made check-in an incredibly easy process. Response time was incredibly fast for any questions we had and we always felt supported throughout the entire stay. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. We had everything we needed, and there were extra amenities like pillows and blankets that we really appreciated. The TV was easy to use and a great size - wonderful to watch in the evenings while unwinding after a busy day. The unit’s temperature was perfect and provided great relief from hot summer weather outside. I would 10/10 book this AirBnB again. Thank you for a great experience!

Wow!! We had an outstanding time at Dan’s cottage and were blown away by the place. It is very close to the water and has the perfect cottage feel while also being incredibly clean and cozy. The couch space was absolutely perfect for our large group to relax and chat or play games in the center area. The rooms, kitchen, and rooms were all lovely and fully set up. We were especially impressed by the amount of dishes/ tools the kitchen had that made all types of cooking so easy. Not to mention the very spacious fridge and additional bar fridge. The hot tub was lovely and we took advantage of the kayaks, paddle boats, and canoe. Dan was very responsive and any questions we had he happily helped with- though we didn’t have many since all instructions/ tips were thorough and clear. If you are looking for the perfect mix of luxury and all the activities and ambiance you could hope for in a cottage- this is the place!

Gaius was a wonderful host. All of the instructions were clear and they were very quick at getting back to me if I had any questions. The house was extremely clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. There was lots of room for everyone. Grocery stores, gas stations and many other amenities were less than 5 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again. This location is great for families, with sleep accommodations for all ages. Of the two single beds, one is perfect for a toddler as it is lower to the ground. We did have an adult sleep in this bed and he was quite comfortable. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

I rented this beautiful property for a bachelorette party. It was spacious and met all our needs. The views of this lakefront, the colour changing lights and sound system made it even better. The home was able to accommodate 20 people comfortably and there was plenty of room for parking. The property was clean and the owner was amazing in helping me achieve my vision for the bachelorette party. She answered all questions and was very easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend for any celebration or a nice and quiet getaway with friends and family that is not to far from downtown Ottawa.

The location was ideal – a perfect blend of natural beauty and proximity to the city. What truly amazed us was how much more beautiful it was in person compared to the already great photos. The serene lake view, the perfectly stocked kitchen, and the immaculate cleanliness all contributed to an unforgettable stay. You can feel the warmth and care in every detail. The hosts were also fantastic, with quick and kind communication. They even helped us retrieve keys we'd accidentally left behind! We can't wait to return and highly recommend this incredible retreat.
