We had a special triple family birthday celebration get together at this property. The property was absolutely lovely, and had everything we needed. We loved that there are options for quiet spaces and communal spaces to gather. The kitchen is especially well equipped and very cozy! The best place to sit and chat with the heat from the aga. We made fresh scones in the Aga which everyone agreed were possibly the best scones they’d ever had! We enjoyed walks, the sounds of lambs, the lovely surrounding countryside and a trip into York we had a fabulous meal at the Talbot in Malton. Would love to come back. Would make a fabulous Christmas location for a group/large family gathering.

I enjoyed a lovely, peaceful stay at The Poetree - I didn't want to leave. Wendy and Fynn were the perfect hosts, there when I needed them but not intrusive. Fynn very helpfully showed me the best way to walk into York and was very thorought in guiding me around the house when I checked in. It really is the perfect place to unwind and take some time to yourself, especially when the sun is shining. The walk into York took me about 30 minutes, which was great for me. I hope to have an opportunity to visit again and stay a little longer next time!

we had a great stay at Rachel's place, a beautiful property in such a peaceful and quiet setting, very private with a lovely hottub overlooking gorgeous views, comfortably within driving distance of many coastal towns also which we took advantage of, Rachel herself was a great host being very understanding when we accidentally broke a mirror whilst staying there which we really appreciated, can't recommend this place enough! thank you Rachel!

This was a surprise birthday weekend for my wife and the place did not disappoint. Very spacious, everything was to hand. The log burner was a godsend and we made use of the projector and had a movie night. Great weekend and we’ve booked our return.

We have stayed at Herbert Cottage, before and was keen to return as it is fabulous! The cottage is decorated and furnished to an exceptional standard. Quality linens and towels plus quality kitchen equipment (love the mugs!) Everything you could possibly need was provided for. Elaine, the housekeeper, is an absolute gem. SO friendly and welcoming. The cottage was immaculately cleaned and smelled divine. Nothing was too much trouble. Its like meeting an old friend. The peace and tranquility suits us. Amazing sunsets to the gentle sound of the local cricket team. The local pub, The Blacksmith's Arms, is very good. They also do takeaways if you prefer. So much to do in the area. Plan to return

We have just returned from a 2 night break at Rebecca's lovely bungalow. From word go Rebecca was very responsive with clear instructions, even allowing us to arrive slightly earlier than the check-in time. The bungalow was spotless, well equipped & Rebecca had left us a lovely welcome basket, tea, coffee, biscuits, crisps & milk. The location is spot on, 10 minute walk in to the centre of Malton. The bungalow is located in a very quiet part of the neighbourhood, making it a really lovely stay. I don't have a anything negative to say about this place & would not hesitate to stay again.

Definitely the loveliest and best appointed airbnb's that we've stayed in. The place was immaculate and beautifully situated in rolling countryside with great views. We loved sitting out on the terrace for eating and drinking. Helen had vertical generously provided us with a bottle of prosecco, biscuits, cereal, milk, tea & coffee! There is plenty of room to park 2 and more cars.
