Great place, peaceful in the middle of nature , short drive to shops and motorway but this is what we wanted , peace and quiet and she has a little shop with essentials if needed . Very helpful and proactive, also the children loved the cats and the playground !

We had a great week in the apartment in Simonswald! The accommodation is modern, stylish and furnished with a lot of love for detail – you immediately feel comfortable. The furnishings are high-quality, the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, the living room is cozy and technically up-to-date. We especially liked the quiet bedroom with very comfortable beds and the modern, clean bathroom. The apartment was sparkling clean and well prepared upon arrival. The location is perfect for excursions to the Black Forest, but at the same time quiet and relaxing. Communication with host Marco was also friendly, fast and uncomplicated at all times. You can tell that someone here is a host with heart and aspiration. We felt completely comfortable and can fully recommend this apartment. If you are looking for stylish, comfortable accommodation in a fantastic environment, you have come to the right place.

We spent wonderful days at the property. The location was great. Restaurants were quick to reach and there was plenty of choice. The whirlpool and the view were simply beautiful. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime!

We felt very comfortable at the place. It is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal – Europa-Park is within about 10 minutes walking distance. In the summer you can sit outside at the table, which is especially convenient for meals or a short break. Traveling by public transport was also not an issue. Clear recommendation – we would come back!

Only our second Airbnb , weren’t sure what to expect, in this case, no need to worry at all. There is nothing elseNatacha could have done to improve our stay. The accommodation was perfect for us, as we didn’t have a car, we used local transport to town, although most days we walked, took around 15 to 25 minutes depending which direction we took, we were lucky the weather was excellent. A large supermarket was just around the corner. A visit to Colmar centre and Petit Venice is a must. We also took the tourist bus around some beautiful villages.The little tourist train and a boat along the river was very good. Lots of restaurants and bars. Railway station wasn’t too far, by bus or walk We will definitely return to Colmar and would not hesitate to book Natacha’s place

We loved this Airbnb. Perfect location in Colmar, easily walkable (15 min) from the train station. About a 7 min walk to La Petite Venise. Everything looks new and is very clean. Very nicely done apartment. We will stay here again.

The accommodation is very spacious and from the balcony you have a beautiful view. There is a lot to discover, hike, excursion destinations, etc. in the area. Great for getting to know the Black Forest. For us as a family with children, it was particularly nice, because there are chickens, lots of vehicles, a sandbox, a slide, etc. We felt very comfortable!

Lovely clean, spacious and comfortable home. Stephanie is a great host and very quick and helpful with communication. Superb location for Europa Park and sightseeing in the region.

We liked the stay in the Sonnenhäusle very much. The house is quiet and you can start hiking right at the door. We also received tips for hikes, which we tested directly and found to be good. 🙂 The house is well suited for 4 adults and the spacious garden invites you to relax. The communication in advance and at check-in was excellent. The house itself has everything you need and the sauna after a long hike was an absolute treat. We would stay there again at any time!

We were there for a weekend trip to visit Europa Park. The accommodation was significantly cheaper than in Germany and the way to and from the park is about 35 min. Including a free Rhine ferry. The landlords were very kind and open, but discreet. All in all, a great stay thanks to the great accommodation.

We spent 3 nights in Chantal's wonderful accommodation. The house is very spacious and offers everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is well equipped and there are a few nice touches. The bedrooms are comfortable and each have their own bathroom. There was only a lack of small things (shampoo/shower gel, oil in the kitchen, only one hair dryer for 3 bathrooms). The nearby church and a large grandfather clock with a quarter-hour melody are worth mentioning - this takes some getting used to. The positive highlight is the park-like garden with many seating and lounging options, which could also be used well on the (very) hot days. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is very cozy and well equipped – it really lacked nothing. We were there with several people and a toddler and we all felt very comfortable. The hostess and her husband were very accommodating and friendly, you felt welcome right away. Everything was clean and lovingly prepared. Absolutely recommended – we will be happy to come back!

Sylvie and Régis were wonderful hosts, we felt so comfortable and peaceful in their beautiful cottage. The furnishings are a variety of modern, antique, and artful, but the home is rustic wood and stone cottage with gorgeous windows. The cottage isn’t exactly rural, but it’s tucked into the hill and has a huge yard beyond a creek. It feels extremely secluded while still being accessible. The space worked perfectly for my family to rest in the evening after day trips in busier towns. We had a minor health issue while in Muhlbach, and Sylvie was quick to respond, sympathetic and extremely helpful. Thank you Sylvie and Régis for sharing your home and warmth.

Susan was fantastic. Even before arriving Susan shared tips on how to reach her home. The space was perfect. A gorgeous private courtyard to have breakfast in the morning, or a drink and food in the evening. Beautifully decorated. comfortable bed, spacious Kitchen and Bathroom. Everything was as described and presented. We would definitely come back. We had a quick walk in to the main city, Susan's home is very close. We were spoiled for restaurants and ate in a couple of Susan's recommendations. Susan as a Host was brilliant. Friendly, helpful and very responsive. Cannot recommend enough and ate already looking forward to our next visit in the near future!

we had a wonderful stay at this property. In addition to being very beautiful, I have rarely seen a vacation home so well equipped, whether in the kitchen, installation, exterior, etc. Special mention also to the comfort and fenced garden for when you travel with a 4-legged companion. We also appreciated the environmental efforts put in place in the accommodation. Regarding the location, thanks to the advice of the owners, you will be spoiled for choice between walks, terroirs and culture.

We enjoyed staying in Jean-Claude’s comfortable and quiet apartment so much we would love to return. We could easily walk into SELESTAT, returning to ‘Cafe Wach’ which was a great place to enjoy coffee and amazing cake. Lots of stunningly old and quaint towns are close by if you have a car. I have no hesitation recommending Jean-Claude’s apartment to anyone staying in the area.

We felt right at home in the apartment. The kitchen is equipped with everything possible, there are many games and books - also a game of patience that we unfortunately could not solve 😅 In about 8 minutes at the bus stop, with the bus only running very sporadically on Sunday. On foot, however, you can also reach Paula-Modersohn Square in about 15-20 minutes and from there take the light rail towards Freiburg. Would definitely come again!

We have stayed in over 20 Airbnbs and Christine’s place is one of the very best. Christine herself is very responsive to any messages and super helpful. The apartment, apart from being extremely well presented and equipped, has so many thoughtful extras. Such as water, milk and beer in the fridge, maps and local information, toothbrush packs, earplugs (it’s not noisy) but so many little things had been thought of and provided. We loved it and got a great nights sleep before we set off on the next leg of our journey. If we come through Colmar again we will definitely stay in Christine’s place. Absolutely fantastic.

It was an absolutely idyllic stay! The place is a haven of peace, offering a refreshing tranquility in the heart of a charming and warm landscape. A real joy to disconnect from the everyday! We spent a wonderful week staying with Maj Britt and Klaus at their beautiful winery and loved every moment of it. From start to finish, they were the perfect hosts — always helpful and welcoming without ever being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel at home. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the wine tasting and it was great to hear more about the winery! The accommodation was exactly what we were after: clean, tidy, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a relaxing stay. Also it is a great location close to Freiburg and the Black Forest. Nice spacious studio in the middle of the Black Forest. The studio is located on the ground floor of the hosts house, near the main road of Mitteltal, which was ideally located to start hikes and bike rides. With the Schwarzwald Plus card you can also use the bus for free to go to the start of hikes/activities in the region. Mitteltal has one very little supermarket and some bakeries and restaurants in walking distance (5-10 min). If you want some more options, Baiersbronn has some bigger supermarkets and more restaurants in 10 min by car. The sauna was a very nice addition on the rainy days. The bed was comfortable, the studio was very quiet and dark with the roller shutters down. The shower was also very nice. The host was very friendly and informative. We appreciated the parking spot in front of the house and the fact that we could park our racing bikes in the garage. We would recommend this studio for a peaceful trip to the Schwarzwald.

The apartment was spacious with a separate bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped. We appreciated the balcony on beautiful spring mornings. The location was great and the old town was a short walk away. Do NOT use Apple maps to navigate to the apartment as it doesn’t navigate accurately – use Google maps instead. If using as a base , recommend drive to Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg Jeremie was a very helpful & friendly host.
