Cabin holiday rentals in Rio Grande National Forest

Our two families with a bunch of kiddos had an amazing time here! There was tons of things for the kids to do and a nice little hot tub for the adults and a fire pit to make s’mores in. Would definitely stay again.

The house was in a great location, just 1/2 a mile from my son’s house. The house was well stocked for my dog. I didn’t need to bring my crate! The projector TV was too high tech for me, but we did not need to use it. It was a lovely stay. I hope I can book again next year.

There was some confusion on arrival, totally my fault, but Fairly was friendly and quick to respond and resolve the situation. The accommodation was clean with a comfortable stay, a well equipped kitchen and lovely and warm when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub both the evening of arrival and morning before we left. This cabin is highly recommended

My husband and I spent a weekend at Al’s place with our dog. This place is so stunning! It is very remote, so be sure to bring groceries and any supplies you need with you. It rained and snowed a bit while we were there so the hot tub was a perfect addition! We went running to a few of the nearby lakes, gorgeous and easy to navigate our way around. Dog friendly and very peaceful. We hope to come visit again in the future!

This was a wonderful cabin!It is very comfortable, well equipped and family friendly. We loved the location as everything in town was in a walkable distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Muriel is a wonderful host to work with! She went above and beyond to accommodate us! A beautiful lake side cabin in a very quite community. The house is clean and comfortable it was just the getaway we were looking for! Excellent place to stay!

Great spot to stay. Our adult children immediately gave it a thumbs up (they are very picky). Very rustic and warm. We used the wood stove a lot. The cabin had a great atmosphere. Having the Rio Grande River 50 feet away didn't hurt the scenery. The cabin was well equipped. We had everything we needed to cook (we only ate out once). Of all of the airbnb places we have stayed. This was our favorite. We'll stay here again if we visit South Fork and Wolf Creek again.

We had an awesome time. This location had great access points to the river for fly fishing. It was exactly what we wanted for a weekend fly fishing trip. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating to make sure we enjoyed ourselves.

Great location! Very walkable to everything in town as well hiking trails! Even with the close proximity to everything, it was a very peaceful and quiet place to stay.

We had a wonderful winter time stay. The cabin was incredibly well stocked which made the snow-machine access only so easy and less stressful. very comfy and cozy. I don't have a single recommendation on how it could be improved. hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

Perfect place to stay whether you’re wanting to relax or fish. The cabin itself was cozy and the river was relaxing. My husband fly fished the section of river on the property and got 4 fish but also saw quite a few jumping in the evenings. Only thing was the river was too deep to wade in, maybe that’s just a time of year thing though from the runoff.

Eagle Vista is an absolute gem. The pictures provided with the listing do their best to try and capture the grandeur of the setting, but it's even better than advertised. John is a great host and makes sure that you'll have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Beds are comfortable, showers are hot, and the woodstove keeps the place nice and cozy. We'll certainly be back if we're in the area again.

We loved our week at Alpine Spruce Cabin in South Fork. It worked great for our group, two families traveling together! The cabin is spacious, cozy and well stocked. Janet was gracious and helpful. The well-equipped kitchen worked great to feed our group. (We made breakfast and supper each day plus packed picnic lunches.) Ample dishes, knives, and silverware plus kitchen basics like some spices, salt and pepper, flour, etc., made cooking a breeze. After long days of skiing at Wolf Creek (25 minutes away) or an adventure to the Great Sand Dunes National Park (75 minutes away), we came back to the cabin to enjoy plenty of games, puzzles and the foosball table. There’s some uniquenesses to this remodeled cabin. The washer is in the kitchen and the dryer is in a garage area. The bunk room is through one of the bedrooms and the bathroom or a quick walk around the outside to the back entrance. Overall, the owners have done a wonderful job making this cabin a great home away from home!

We enjoyed the cabin space and warmth. The weather was perfect while there. The cabin was stocked with daily living items. We found the walk-in shower enjoyable. It was fairly peaceful and quiet by highway 160. It was easy to get checked in with the instructors that were sent by the sponsor. Hope to be able to come back sometime in the near future.

Nice relaxing mountain getaway! Enjoyed sipping our morning coffee while watching the wildlife.

We loved staying at this beautiful house which is only out matched by the beautiful surroundings. It was close to local rock climbing and an easy day trip to many other attractions like the sand dunes. Our host was extremely accommodating and quickly came jumped on fixing our one issue which was slow internet. I’m happy to report that the internet speeds are now more than adequate for two people working remotely. We are already talking about coming back next year and maybe staying a bit longer.

Quaint wooden cabin, very well appointed with everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy the space. Hostess was very helpful. Doesn't have wi-fi or TV, which is nice to be able to enjoy the space and nature. Does have cell coverage. It is a few miles out of Pagosa Springs and in a neighborhood with dirt/gravel roads. Overall this was a great little place, would stay here again.

My friends and I had the best stay at Sarah’s cabin. There were plenty of comfortable beds, the view was so beautiful and serene, the fire pit on the porch was perfect. We ended up spending the majority of time on the porch, both in the evenings and in the mornings, but the cabin itself is adorable and cozy! Would absolutely stay again!

Michelle and Brad were the perfect hosts; very hospitable, kind, and respectful. If you want to interact with them, they are welcoming to it. If you want privacy, they will respect that. Their property is amazingly beautiful & so peaceful! Should we visit the area again, we will most definitely stay with them again!

We had a great Birthday/wedding Anniversary weekend getaway. The cabin is beautiful and located in a convenient location. We would definitely recommend staying there and we would also stay there as well.
