We had a fantastic stay at Curt’s place! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely amazing—delicious, hearty, and filling every single time. Curt was a wonderful host who took the time to give us a tour of his beautiful property and shared so much knowledge about the local area. His recommendations for restaurants and tourist spots were all spot-on and really enhanced our trip. One of the highlights was the incredible wildlife we got to see—everything from critters to a sloth! It was truly unforgettable. On top of all that, Curt’s team went above and beyond by surprising one of our group members with a birthday cake, made fresh with only a few hours’ notice. Such a thoughtful gesture! Great area to travel, beatuiful property. the apartment is for basic needs and clean. Jesus was very helpfull and also let us use his kayaks in his own lake . the property is well taking care of, its also include forest and river to visit.we enjoyed our time there !

We had a great stay. The house is as described and the kitchen was particularly well equipped. The beds were comfy. Irma was very helpful with recommendations and a booking for a birthday meal. We received fresh eggs in the morning, which was lovely. This does mean noise from the chickens, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. There is a lovely balcony and plenty of space for the kids to run around.

The apartment is very nice, and it has a park next to it for physical activity or walking and a shopping center very close. Mayela and Fernando are very nice and are always attentive. Recommended! Thank you!

Karen’s place was very well decorated, organized, clean and had all of the necessary amenities. The overall facility is very well maintained with pathways for walking to the pools, fitness room, tennis courts and restaurant. I felt very comfortable and secure as the entire facility is gated and guarded. Definitely recommend it and sure to book it next time I’m in San José CR!

Nice and comfortable

Truly splendid stay! Inflatable jacuzzi was amazing! And you can’t beat fresh clean water, chlorine free! We absolutely loved the place. We would definitely come again. Amazing price, definitely worth what we paid. It works great for a family with up to 4 children. Our king size bed was comfortable completely a dream. Nice kitchen well stocked. Huge glass front gives the house a sunny open feel. Even had a washer and dryer to get laundry done. Even provided laundry soap and extra toilet paper when needed. There’s even a simple grill and charcoal we used to grill supper.

Good value, nice well maintained clean house with an electric gate, perimeter fence and multiple security cameras. Nice sheltered outdoor areas for sitting and dining on a rainy day. There is a river and mountain with tropical forest rising up behind the house. Old style electric shower head. It can be quite hot if you keep the flow of water low. Nice screened windows for good cross ventilation. Quite cool at night so no need for AC. Spent one morning at Blue Falls which was truly amazing. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, air fryer, microwave and outdoor grill. Ran out of propane for the stove but Daniela sent over a full tank within an hour.

Casa Oropendola is magical – a happy place to be happy in! Everything needed to feel comfortable and at home is right there. It is spotless, spacious and well-equipped. The (fully equipped) kitchen, with panoramic windows looking out onto a landscape of utter beauty, is amazing. Gilbert has created a garden of stunning beauty whose heliconia are constantly visited by hummingbirds. Bird lovers – you will be in paradise here! I downloaded the Merlin app for my stay here and was amazed at the species it picked up. Note reliable wifi for work meetings. Safe - could have left the door unlocked at night - not exaggerating. Potable Spring water from the kitchen tap. Gilbert is the kindest and most generous of hosts. He told me about great places to go and helped me a lot. He goes far above and beyond what I expect, doing everything in his power to make the stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. He is just a sincere and kind personality. Laguna Hule is breathtaking. Great hikes!

Francisco is an excellent host, very attentive and responsive. The cottage is beautiful and is located in a very quiet place. There are many tourist attractions nearby and the property also has some beautiful trails. The jacuzzi was phenomenal, excellent for relaxing at the end of the day. Don't hesitate to visit Francisco. 100% recommended!

A very quiet place to enjoy as a family with all amenities, excellent to go with pets since there is a lot of space, the host is always attentive and friendly, in end everything is very good.

We had a wonderful stay here! It is near a main road, but with all the beautiful plants and trees around, it felt like we were in the middle of a rainforest. Anyara cheerfully greeted us even though we arrived very late/early morning due to a flight delay. She also gave us a fun and informative tour of their amazing property and frog sanctuary. It was enjoyed and appreciated by us all (mom, dad, and 2 teenagers). The house was cozy and as advertised. Communication was excellent.

Amazing local experience. Love the colonial style and Kendal was great all the way. The Rancho is such a nice place. People are so nice there and getting back to the Kendall's place after a few drinks is unique. Note that this place may not work for everyone, the living room communicate directly with the yard. We personally loved getting up to the sound of the birds and the tropical paradise , it's truly amazing.
