Hytta ligger på Øysang, like ved Jegertunet feriesenter hvor man kan benytte badebasseng og tennisbaner mot betaling, Fra hytta er det ca ti minutters gange til brygga hvor Øysangferga går over til Risør sentrum. Det er ikke også bare en kort kjøretur til svabergene på Stangnes og Portør.
