Situated at the start of the Wasdale and Eskdale we are perfect for anyone wishing to climb Scafell or just enjoy the two stunning valleys. Brave drivers and cyclists may wish to tackle Hardnott pass at the top end of Eskdale. Ravensglass village and beaches a short walk away, also set on the Fell above the cottage is the amazing Muncaster Castle and Owl centre. Children and Pet friendly 🐾👍🏼

1 Santon Cottages is a beautiful house situated in the North West Lake District. It is very close to Scafell Pike- the highest peak in England, Wastwater lake- the deepest in England and the coast is a 10 minute drive. The house has breath taking views over the fells and is well equipped with all you will need including a log burner, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Free wifi included. Pets are very welcome and there is a private fully secure garden. Extra Charge of £30 per stay.

This traditional workers cottage in Eskdale green gives you a wonderfully cosy retreat and an ideal base for exploring. The cottage is a traditional '2 up 2 down' that has been modernised sympathetically for a cosy break away. Bedding and towels provided. Heat is provided by storage heaters and the front room has a log burning stove for a super cosy stay. There is a selection of books, maps, DVD's & children's toys. Scafell Pike, Yewbarrow and Illgill Head can all be started from the doorstep. Very easy access to the lake for paddleboarding, kayaking and wild swimming.
