What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to stay. The views are wonderful and lots of nature and wildlife. Suite is a great size, we enjoyed having a glass of fizz on the balcony in the sunshine. The host was very responsive and there's a lovely pub a short walk away.

Just had a wonderful stay at this beautiful converted Oast House in the stunning Kent countryside. The house as you'd expect was quirky inside and with three bedrooms, 2 ensuite and a further shower room downstairs suited our needs well. We had planned activities but managed to spend time chilling in the garden at the back of the house and at the lake just down the road, feeding the ducks and gease who were always pleased to see us. Helen was a very responsive host and was happy to answer any questions. The rural location suited us well, it was very peaceful with sounds of the countryside animals and birds. Just watch put for the large speed bumps which are camouflaged into the road!!! We would definitely stay again x

We LOVED coldharbour cottage…Myself, husband & 2 teenagers. Everything we wanted & more! Perfect from beginning to end. The cottage was wonderful, so full of charm & character & the surrounding views absolutely topped it off, all in all we would give this place 10/10! ❤️

The place is absolutely wonderful. It has all the amenities you wish for. A great outdoor space to have breakfast, lunch or dinner during the summertime. We felt right at home at this peaceful rural retreat. And Hillary is easy to communicate with.

A truly fantastic place to stay in idyllic, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We have stayed in a few Airbnb properties but none better. Vivienne and Bill are lovely people and absolute fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond. And made our stay even more special. Thank you both. Would highly recommend and definitely intend to stay again.

The barn was the perfect bolthole for us while visiting East Sussex for a family wedding. It was inviting and spacious with a very well equipped kitchen and the kids loved the tennis court. Thank you for having us - would definitely recommend!

Really beautiful spot, gorgeously decorated and in a wonderful setting - loved having the sheep and cows right outside the windows! Charlotte was so helpful even providing a high chair that we needed and sending some recommendations. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking in and the beds were super comfy with lovely linens. The perfect spot to explore from.

What a wonderful place! The cottage was beautifully appointed with great attention to detail and was spotlessly clean. Lovely garden which our two dogs appreciated. Sarah and Mark had kindly left us some eggs from their chickens, some jam and wine which was a lovely welcome. They are very helpful hosts. Would highly recommend and will hopefully return soon.

Absolutely lovely place to spend a night - from feeding the fish to a quick round of pool, and of course the brilliant facilities on the patio, which couldn't be simpler to use thanks to the helpful instructions. Everything is set up to provide optimum convenience and a warm welcome (like the plentiful fire/BBQ supplies and the eggs and marmalade from Jane's hens, which were both fantastic, so kind!) Jane herself is a wonderful host, and my partner and I highly recommend this listing. Thank you!

By far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. I could not fault the whole experience. Every message sent was responded to quickly, check in instructions were clear. They went above and beyond to make the stay special. The Shepherds hut is immaculately clean. We had champagne, a balloon, fresh flowers and petals on the bed to welcome us for our anniversary all at no extra charge. Every detail of the hut is well thought out and had a functional but luxurious feel. The hot tub was relaxing as was the whirlpool bath. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful yet you can quickly and easily get to London. We followed recommendations for Deliveroo and pub choices and we weren’t disappointed. Thank you so much we will be returning 😊

Well…. what can I say that hasn’t already been said by previous guests? It’s just beautiful!! Every little thing about it and its surroundings is spot on! I’d actually class myself as pretty fussy and honestly, I was in awe of the design of the place and I don’t think there was a thing that hadn’t been thought of , from the slipper bath in the room, or the outside shower (hot & cold) it was all there making the place feel very top end. Tracy herself was lovely and greeted us with a big smile and quickly showed us around before leaving us to enjoy this wonderful place, which we truly did! Thanks Tracy for a lovely escape and we’ll be recommending your place to all x

We stayed at Gabrielle's converted barn a few weeks ago and in a word... amazing. The venue was immaculate and perfect for our family of 5. The kids loved the cottage and utilised the field one of the evenings. Gabrielle's husband (never got his name!) was helpful and gave directions to some places in the locality as well as being very happy to show us the field connecting to the garden. A small mention of their kids who were fantastically mannered! If there was one complaint... it would be that this venue is undersold! The green space and reservoirs are beautiful. It's truly a gem and we will be hoping to stay again soon!!!

Chloes place was comfortable, clean and in a peaceful location. Chloe as a host is helpful and instructions finding the property and check in were great. Wifi was good. I would definitely return when visiting family In the area.

Great accommodation, all on one level, in a friendly village. Avril & Paul left us to ourselves but readily engaged when approached. Beautiful setting with lovely garden, view of the Southern Downs easy, short walk to village store to buy bread, cereal, milk and banana for breakfast.

Our stay was lovely! we arrived and had a seamless check-in and friendly welcome. The apartment was spotless, you had everything you needed at hand! from a fruit basket, milk, even a cake as it was my birthday! the attention to detail was insane! You also have a steam room - beautiful! The pool was so much fun! I can not swim so it was nice to have the pool to ourselves so my husband could show off and also pull me around the pool with my floats! The gardens were immaculate and stunning. The flowers were stunning and vibrant! You felt as though you were abroad! So lush and green. Then you have the hot tub, wonderful after stepping out of the sauna and walking through a corridor of lush green to get to the tub, bloody fantastic!! We even had our own bbq on our balcony where you could watch the sunset and beautiful sea views. It was an amazing getaway and I know we will return. We had a wonderful stay & were made to feel welcome & comfortable. Bread, milk, granola & marmalade were lovely touches. Lovely furnishes, kitchen & bathroom. Our 2 dogs were very welcome aswell, stunning walks as soon as you open the stable style door, fantastic scenery & farm land. We visited the Rose & Crown twice for yummy food with excellent service & dog friendly. For us this was the perfect stay, thank you xx

I just want to say how beautiful this place is. The location is amazing, the view as well and also I just want to say a massive thank you to Stephanie and David for their very friendly welcome. The eggs, cake and milk that they provided-amazing. Definitely I am coming back here and this will be soon. Thank you again for hospitality. If I could give you 10 stars, I would!!

The apartment was very comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wood-burning stove and the terrace with its peaceful view were definite highlights.

Such a lovely Airbandb in the middle of the English countryside! Lambs and resident horses graze next to the barn with fresh air and kind hosts. The barn is renovated with thought - both a bath and shower - open kitchen plan and loads of light. We enjoyed every minute and thank Andrew for his kindness.

It was a fantastic place to stay and the information provided about local restaurants and activities/attractions was greatly appreciated. There is a great place to eat, Castle Inn, within walking distance. Bodiam Castle was fun for the children to explore and had an extra trail for half term. There is the Kent and East Sussex railway from Bodiam station. There are good activities like wildlife spotting for the journey. America was a great host and welcomed us on arrival and went through all the recommendations. We would definitely return in the future.
