Holiday rentals with a patio in River Stour

Excellent property. We were a family group of 9, 6 adults and 3 children, aged 12,7,and 1. Accomodation was well suited for this group. Baby gate at the top of the stairs along with travel cot and baby toys. Bedrooms spacious and beds comfortable. Kitchen small, but fine for cooking breakfast, although grilling bacon in the oven under a smoke detector can be noisy at times. Pub downstairs is lovely and although we didn't eat there, the food looked excellent. Situated in a quiet village just outside Bury St.Edmunds, this place would be ideal for exploring the area. Nice peaceful place, with high standard accomodation, and self-checking is handy

This accommodation is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. There are lots of lovely local walks and a couple of convenience stores and pubs within walking distance. There are lots location is peaceful with a nice outdoor courtyard garden. Occasionally footsteps can be heard from above the bedroom due to the accommodation being underneath part of the owner’s home.

Beautiful apartment in a very peaceful setting. Surprisingly spacious and we were very grateful for the little touches of wine, croissants and toiletries. The hosts were so helpful with recommendations and swift with replies. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was just gorgeous. Thank you so much! Couldn’t recommend this stay more.

The property definitely ticked all the boxes for us. We were staying for a wedding in the village. Having the pub across the road was a bonus as we didn’t really want to cater for ourselves other than breakfast and the church was only 200m away. The beds were all very comfortable and the en-suite bathrooms most convenient. Two had good showers and the third a bath with a bath/shower mixer tap. We didn’t need the fourth bedroom but had we done, although it didn’t have an en-suite bathroom, it did have exclusive night time use of a cloakroom next door to it. It was positioned away from all the other bedrooms so it was as good as being en-suite for night time use and of course there were still three bathrooms to use for showering or bathing, so not really a game changer if four beds were needed.

This is wonderful accommodation, spacious for two and a dog with a nice garden in a beautiful area. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. There are plenty of local walks without even having to drive, plus a very decent local pub with excellent food. We had a fantastic time and would definitely visit again.

Beautiful annexe stay. Was extremely comfortable. Sadly only for a 1 night, will definitely stay again. everything was immaculate, and well catered for. Gwyn was an excellent hoat and nothing too much trouble. In short Perfect for us!! 😊

We stayed in Katie’s accommodation to celebrate my grandmothers 80th birthday. The accommodation is gorgeous and has everything you need. We really appreciated having an en-suite in every bedroom. Lots of entertaining rooms downstairs and beautiful large garden. Would highly recommend this accommodation for large family gatherings. Perfect for all ages. Thank you

The Stay at Kays was very comfortable the house is very well equipped you do not need to arrive with anything apart from yourselves, food & drink. Kay was quick to greet us by txt mgs asking if anything needed contact her plenty of clear instructions for the house. Bikes games indoor & outdoor and patio furniture all available. Parking pretty much next to the house. Will use again. Thank You Kay

A lovely place to stay, exactly as described but the photos do not do it justice. Very comfortable and cosy and extremely well equipped. The outdoor space was also lovely, with lots of visiting birds. Mandy was a considerate host, even offering to get some provisions for me when she knew that I was attending a family funeral. Quiet and peaceful, highly recommend as a perfect place to stay. I hope to return soon.

This is one really good Airbnb! In a quiet, small development, the place had everything you might need, with great attention to every detail. Like the USB charging adapters at the bedside, a dusk/dawn nightlight in the hallway, and plenty of useful shelves and lamps. The bedroom had a double bed, surprisingly comfortable, with individual duvets, and a decent wardrobe. A hallstand for coats and bags, and a fine bathroom with modern electric shower beside. It has a well-appointed kitchen/sitting area, with comfortable couch seating. The entire apartment was pristine clean, so nice to see. Parking (private) was literally outside the door, really handy! And, it had many facilities not often included, like washing machine, microwave, lotsstay of storage space, and a hairdryer, and a nice patio seating area outside. A bonus was the decent walk to the old city along the banks of the River Cam, with views of row boats, and nice meadow parks on the way! Can't go wrong here - enjoy your stay!

David and Leslie are the kindest and most welcoming of hosts. They made me feel at home immediately, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were very willing to accommodate my requests, and it was lovely to enjoy their hospitality in the garden. Their generosity was evident in the LWH - ensuring there were things for breakfast and a drink (even ice cold water in the fridge) to lovely cosmetics in the bathroom. And the LWH was spotless, beautifully kitted out and the bed was very, very comfortable. I had everything I needed for my short stay, and if I had needed something, I was reassured that all I should do was to ask. The LWH is a great place to stay to explore this part of Essex and is highly recommended. Thank you David and Leslie for all that you did to make my stay a memorable one.

A complete gem of an Airbnb and a delightful, helpful host in Fiona. The Annex is so spacious and comfortable. Fun days out exploring beautiful medieval local sites then back for drinks on the patio and a tasty supper from the amazing farm shop nearby. Our dog loved it too whizzing through the orchard fetching balls. We didn’t want to leave. Just fantastic.

It's a really beautiful flat. Everything is elegant and stylish as well as comfortable. Very clean and decorated to a very high standard. The only thing I missed was some hangers and a full size ironing board and iron - I wear dresses and like to be able to hang them up. A large chest of drawers is provided but not really suitable for dresses. Lovely little outdoor suntrap with table and chairs. Great shower too!

Excellent apartment with every convenience provided. Ideal for my business trip to the airbase. Great host highly recommended and will definitely book again
