Salt Spring Gite

Our "gite" is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage in the most beautiful part of Salt Spring, the south eastern tip, near Ruckle Park. From our cottage, you can walk to this historic working farm and park, explore its forested trails, and then head to the many beach areas a short distance away. Visit farm stands and take the Studio Tour. Take a dip in one of many lakes. Climb Maxwell Mountain or stroll through the Saturday Market and other unique shops. Salt Spring is a true one of a kind.

Forest Hideout

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

Charming Cozy Cabin

The cabin is 12’X18’. Small, but complete with all you need for a little island getaway. -Full bed, super comfy. -Kitchenette is equipped with fridge, toaster, microwave, and coffeemaker. -Bathroom includes sink, shower, toilet. -WiFi and DirectTV (Due to the remoteness of our island, short internet disruptions are normal.) -Cell service can be spotty on the Island The cabin is located on our property, 100 feet from our house. Nestled in the forest of cedars and firs. Lovely trails and walks nearby. Close to Roche Harbor and English Camp. Peaceful sanctuary with birds, deer and other creatures. Just a few short miles from Eastsound, the Honey BnB perches on the shore of a small pond teeming with wildlife. From the house you might see ducks, herons, geese, kingfishers, eagles, otters, turkeys, and deer among many other types of birds and beasts. A quick walk to the beach and you'll find plenty of skipping stones and an excellent panoramic view across the water.

AMAZING WATERVIEW CABIN! This is the place to come during Coronavirus! It’s clean, sanitized with antibacterial wipes, private, and you can prepare your own meals. While on the ferry you can stay in your car for protection. Also, I’ve gone to a self check in policy for our protection, and provide an annotated map with directions to my favorite places and hikes.
