Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. Composed of 3 large bedrooms, a furnished and equipped kitchen, and a living room with a corner sofa. Terrace overlooking the Coiron plateau. Sheets, Bath/Pool Towels, Washcloths and Dish Towels are not provided. We live there (very discreet for the sake of our tenants) the ban on outside visitors.
