Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rochemaure

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We had a great family stay at Cyril's place. This house is very well equipped and perfectly matches the description. The location is ideal, quiet and at the same time close to Aubenas. Cyril is very responsive and very kind. I will gladly return to his house in Ardèche.

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever been to. The accommodation is superb, tastefully decorated and warm. I can only recommend it if you want to discover the Ardèche and stay in a spacious, cozy apartment, in which you feel really good. The village of Balazuc is beautiful, and you can walk to the beach in 10 minutes, we enjoyed it. Mary is a great host, responsive and thanks to her everything was easy and chill.

We truly enjoyed our stay, a perfect location to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. It was a nice surprise to find so many animals: a horse, super cute dogs and a cat. The garden is beautiful, you can walk around, go down to the river, enjoy quietness and pure nature all around. The road to the location is also very nice - like a hidden path through nature. It’s definitely a place to come back to, with an amazing energy. Even two nights restore you fully and feels like you stayed much longer than this. Not to mention a stylish and tastefully decorated house. You can find all you need. Amazing both side terraces - to enjoy a morning sun and a sunset.

Very good stay at Les Granges-Gontardes! Malorie welcomed us very well and was a good source of advice for activities to do in the area! We also enjoyed the little touches upon arrival. The place is tastefully renovated and the amenities delighted our 5 and 9 year old children (and parents)! Everything was great! The only downside, not attributable to the owners, is the village church nearby that rings every hour from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.

We spent five days with the family in this beautiful place. The end of October is a very pleasant season for long walks such as in the Saou Forest for example. Some in our group had to telecommute, which is possible without any problem.

Caroline was a very good host. She was always helpful with questions. The house is even nicer than in the photos. The pool is really very large and the view is great. The terrace is also beautiful and there is a large grill. You can switch off and relax very well there. The house is a little difficult to reach by car, because the last 500 meters lead over an unpaved road. I recommend an SUV. We were 7 people and had a lot of space, as the living space and the kitchen are very large. All in all, I can definitely recommend it. We had a great time. Thank you!

Olivier's accommodation perfectly matches the description. It is located in a very nice, quiet environment. It is quality and well-equipped accommodation. I recommend it.

Shirley's apartment was perfect for the four of us with a dog to enjoy the fantastic Labeaume and the great area for a week. The attractively and practically furnished apartment and especially the terrace were even a little more spacious than expected and pleasantly bright through the window front and skylight. For us it was no problem, but less mobile or particularly noise-sensitive people should note that the apartment is located at the back of the village square with a (very cozy) bar and is accessible on the second floor via two external stairs. Shirley was a perfect host, she was always helpful, flexible and easy to reach when needed. 100% recommendation!

Great place to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets

Housing refurbished, with a lot of taste. We spent 3 very pleasant days with our children aged 7 and 9. Céline is a very attentive host with whom it is very pleasant to interact. Thank you for everything!

Annick is a very kind and generous host. You feel right at home in the authentic french farmhouse. Annick kindly shared some of her home grown cherries and apricots which were delicious. The pool was fantastic with beautiful views across lavender and vineyards. Would highly recommend you experience a stay in this lovely accommodation

Beautiful place. Very authentic, decorated with great taste. Great for a large family or families. It was our first time in the region, and I wish I had researched it a bit more before going because you have to know where to go. Some villages and places are stunning, and some other areas you have to avoid. Overall I would really recommend.

We had a super nice week in this beautiful holiday home. We were welcomed by the owners with the stove already on and some goodies on the table. The owners live next to the holiday accommodation and they will give you a warm welcome. There was also friendly contact during our stay. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of touches. Really a dream house with a large garden and views. It is very quietly located and you really feel at home. The village of Labeaume can be visited on foot, is a nice walk from the house. We also went to Avignon for a day, a short drive, but worth it. The Indy Park climbing park is also recommended. The bakery and a small supermarket are close by, in Ruoms you will find a large supermarket. There is plenty to do in the area.
