Holiday rentals with a kayak in Rogaland

The accommodation was even more beautiful than in the pictures and we were warmly welcomed. Odd Bjarne is very friendly and accommodating, we got along very well and got many tips for activities and hikes. The contact was uncomplicated and he responded quickly when we had questions. It was a wonderful and relaxing holiday. We will be happy to come back!

Easy to communicate, nice house

We had a lovely time in this house. All the amenities were there, it was very clean and Astrid is very hospitable. The communication with Astrid was very pleasant. We would certainly recommend this house.

One of the best, if not THE Best, AirBnB what my wife and I have stayed in. We stayed for a week, the ferry to and from Stavanger was easy. We enjoyed several outings and tours in the Stavanger area. We had a wonderful yoga session with Kjersti in her on site studio. Kjersti & Trond offer wine tasting followed by dinner, not to be missed, the wine pairing was amazing and dinner was delicious. Communication and local recommendations were excellent. We arrived in Stavanger early and early check in was not possible because of previous guests. Trond offered to secure our luggage and met us at the ferry boat, we enjoyed our day luggage free. Vassoy in general is peaceful and naturally relaxing, we enjoyed lazy mornings with a cup of coffee & relaxing evenings with a glass of wine on the patio overlooking the water. Kjersti and Trond’s residence is adjacent and attached by a breezeway, not only are they excellent hosts but perfect neighbors. Highly recommended.

Lovely place in walking distance to a small supermarket and a cafe/restaurant. A short drive to a great hike and a couple of good beach areas. A little further a field within an hour was Haugesund and less than 2 hours to two beautiful waterfalls (Langfoss and Latefoss). The house had everything we needed included use of life jackets and a canoe. It was a last minute booking due to our previous Airbnb booking cancelling at the last minute. Camilla was extremely helpful in answering lots of questions and giving us recommendations. We could not have asked for a better host. Thank you!

We loved it. Visually, the surroundings are exactly like the pictures. Stunning outlook, leafy, rough green garden space etc. The house space is comfortable and well lived in which makes it cosy and practical. Nice country cottage feel. Plentiful amenities. Relatively basic if you are expecting high end luxury, but is also not advertised as so, again true to all the pictures. We had a great time with our 2 kids and my parents. Hosts provided everything we needed for kids since they have one themselves. Thanks for having us!

Our third stay in this house in Haugesund was truly memorable. The perfect blend of peace, nature, and family-friendly activities made it an ideal place for our children. They loved playing in the spacious garden, and we all enjoyed kayaking, fishing and boating in the beautiful surroundings. The location also offered the convenience of being just 15 minutes from the city, which allowed us to explore Haugesund and visit family with ease. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful—always available and genuinely caring, which made us feel right at home. Communication was smooth, and everything was well-prepared upon arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better balance between relaxation, outdoor adventure, and accessibility. Highly recommended for families looking for a restful yet active getaway.

The stay at John's house was great. I was there with my family and we enjoyed the big house in nature. John and his wife are very friendly and kind. They even brought us fresh fruits from their garden. :)

Hi. My family and I had a fantastic lovely trip to Kjetil's cabin. Everything was perfect. Our kids enjoy themselves and our little dogs had a really good time there. Fantastic good beds and duvet , would like the same at home. There is nothing missing. We made friends over and they were also very impressed with the place. We would so like to come back to Kjetil's cabin. Thank you Kjetil you are a good Bert. 🤩🤩

We had a lovely short week at Vegard's house. Even though we did not meet him, we had very pleasant contact. He is very responsive and friendly and helpful with questions! The house is in a nice quiet place with spacious garden and beautiful location on the water. You even have access to your own private beach and can use a boat and canoes. We had a lot of fun with that! Our dog was also able to have a good time here. You will be staying in a characteristic old house with lots of charm. Also a lot of space and comfort. And as a surprise, we had deer in the garden every now and then. Nearby is the Preikestolen, beautiful walk! And for visiting Stavanger, you are also ideal here. We liked Jørpeland too! In short, plenty to do in the area and around the house. We highly recommend it!

An excellent stay! The apartment was very good, in line with our expectations. The instructions for accessing it were super clear, which made the arrival very simple. The view of the fjord was incredible - a real moment of calm and relaxation. So peaceful that we leave completely rested. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this beautiful accommodation for a week. The house offered enough space for 10 people (grandma and grandpa, and two families with children aged 6-13). Just sharing 1 bathroom and toilet asked some adaptability😊. The trampoline in the garden was really a godsend for our children. It is really an idyllic location, and the house has all the comforts. Nice to see the cows and sheep roam freely. From the house we made trips in the region, Stavanger is very well and quickly accessible and we also visited the Preikestolen. The communication with Daniel and Karoline was very nice and very fast. On location, I had a few practical questions and they were answered almost immediately. This house is highly recommended to stay in. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

For my first trip to Norway, this was a beautiful place to stay.

Staying at Erland's cabin felt like being welcomed by family. From our first inquiry, Erland was incredibly responsive, helping with everything from navigating to Sydnesøya to settling in and exploring the area. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and full of cozy charm. We loved the decks and outdoor spaces, perfect for dining al fresco and soaking in the serene surroundings. The cozy greenhouse became my favorite spot for reading and unwinding. We enjoyed exploring by boat and kayak, and easily catching fish off the docks or at local spots. The kids loved wandering the island and watching ferries pass by. Our week here was peaceful and rejuvenating, offering the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. We cherished every moment and can't wait to return!

This place is unique. It is located in a secluded location in the archipelago and is easily accessible only by boat. If you are in nature and the sea, this is the place to be. We were there with 10 people and the accommodation is completely large enough for this. One 40 hp boat and another with 5 hp are really fun. Life vests a sup and fishing gear were also available. Everyone loved it. In case of rain or storm, the crossing can be a bit difficult.
