The lower floor with double gate, view of the fjord, and with its own toilet/laundry room and fridge/freezer.

Urke in Hjørundfjorden - cabin by the lake

Urke is a lively little village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post office and pharmacy, garden center and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. Sunnmørsalpane surrounds the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which has become very popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the URA. In the last couple of years, Urkeegga has also become a popular tourist destination. The mountains here are as popular for skiers in winter as for mountain trips in summer.

Use of the hot tub must be agreed upon, price NOK 400 for the first use, then NOK 250 per heating. The place is rented out to quiet and orderly people. No parties allowed. Here you can relax or be active. Enjoy nature with trips to the mountains in the immediate area, both on skis and on foot. Go out on the lake with kayaks or boat. Cycle on quiet roads. Boats, kayaks and bicycles can be rented for a reasonable price. Take a drive to Åndalsnes, Trollstigen, Ålesund or Molde. Come home and enjoy the evening with good food on the grill and cozy around the campfire. The hot tub is ready to soften up after today's activity. (NOK 400 in rent per day) The place is located just off the E136.

Charming and rustic barn by the fjord

Welcome to a newly renovated apartment in a charming barn from the 1890s in the heart of Skålvikfjorden. A perfect starting point for forest and mountain trips. Kayak, canoe and SUP can be rented just 100 m away. A small dinghy can also be rented for quiet trips on the fjord. Two bicycles are ready for lending, and a floating sauna raft is also just nearby! The climbing park Høyt & Lavt on Valsøya is about 30 min away by car, and the nearest grocery store can be found at Halsa Fergekai, about 6 km away.

Notholmen Island is a secluded place outside the small village of Vikan. You are at one of the most unique costal areas of Norway along the Atlantic road. Notholmen was a reception centre for fish in its early years and is now our family's paradise. We are happy to share the unique place with others when not in use. Minimum stay of three nights. Guests have access to a rowing boat. Sheets is ordered for 150 nok p/ pers. There is only out-door toilet.
