Holiday rentals with lake access in Romsdalsfjorden

The pictures don't lie! I can't imagine a lovelier scene or a better place to appreciate it.This is a spacious, comfortable house above the fjord with lots of light and broad views both down and across the water. We were kept indoors for a couple of rainy days and still didn't feel cooped up. The house, at the end of the road, provides both peace and privacy. The nearby village of Saebo is small, but free of cruise ships and masses of tourists; larger communities are not distant for shopping, restaurants, and charging EVs. Per Ove could not have been a better host - I had lots of questions before we arrived, and he always answered promptly and fully. He was also ready to respond to any questions we had about the house and area while we were there. What most impressed me: he knew we were driving from Oslo and texted us while we were on the road to tell us that the usual route into Saebo (the one shown on our GPS guide) was closed, giving us the alternate route we would need to take.

Thank you, Paul, for having us at your very special place. The location is truly amazing, and the house itself is exceptional—full of character, thoughtful details, and incredible craftsmanship. We had a wonderful time. Although we weren’t able to explore the area as much as we’d hoped due to feeling unwell, simply staying at your place was more than enough. Admiring the magical view through the large window, listening to the birds in the early morning, and watching the ever-changing clouds over the mountains was an experience in itself. Every glance outside offered something new—just magical. The house was so comfortable and beautifully designed. Just perfect. I can’t wait to come back again in the future—hopefully next time we’ll be able to explore the surrounding area as well.

En koselig og godt meblørt kjellerleilighet. Rolig og rent. Hjelpsomt vertskap. Huset ligger sentralt i Loen. 2 minutters gåavstand fra Joker og bussholdeplass.

We really enjoyed staying at Anne’s place! The house has a very interesting story and antiques from the past. They are very welcoming and a joy to talk with. The area is beautiful as well. I would highly recommend!

Sehr schöne, gut ausgestattete Hütte mit tollem Blick auf die Bucht. Die Hütte hat alles was man braucht. Gut organisierte Küche, tolles Wohnzimmer mit Panoramafenster Richtung Wasser und eine große Terrasse ebenfalls Richtung Wasser ausgerichtet. Es gibt eine Holzbank oberhalb der Hütte mit noch besserer Aussicht. Die Lage der Hütte ist wirklich unschlagbar. Der Atlanterhavsveien ist nur 15 Autominuten entfernt. Außerdem kann man ein tolles Boot mieten. Es liegt fußläufig 3 Minuten entfernt in einem netten kleinem Hafen. Mit der Bootsmiete bekommt man Zugang zu einem Boothaus , in dem man seine Angelsachen aufbewahren kann. Im Wohnhaus gibt es eine ausreichend großen Gefriertruhe. Es gibt dort auch eine Holzbank, die man vor das Bootshaus stellen kann, um den Angeltag mit Blick auf den Hafen ausklingen zu lassen. Niklas ist ein sehr freundlicher, gut erreichbarer Gastgeber, der seinen Gästen einen tollen Aufenthalt ermöglicht. Insgesamt 5 Sterne. Wir kommen wieder.

This was our first visit to the Norway; traveling from North Carolina, USA. Åshild's place was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful and clean. Perfect location for exploring the area. She was the perfect host, there if we needed her but not intrusive. We'd stay here again if we're ever back in the area. Highly recommend.

Veldig fin leilighet som var perfekt for vår familie med to voksne og to barn:) Rent og fint, god plass og koselig! Stort pluss med hage med lekestue og leker som ungene kunne låne inne. Verten var også rask til å svare på spørsmål og veldig behjelpelig. vi kosa oss alle sammen og kommer gjerne igjen:-)

Hadde det veldig bra i den fine leiligheten - godt utstyrt, romslig og gode senger. Stille og romlig område, men likevel sentralt. Anbefales!

Torill var svært behjelpelig da vi trengte fleksibel innsjekking. Hun er meget hyggelig og imøtekommende. Leiligheten er svært praktisk og koselig. Vi hadde det vidunderlig.

Busy week for us visiting family, AND happy to have the respite, beautiful view, easy walk to downtown OR hiking when we did have the time. Webjorn & Stine we’re most hospitable, and accommodations wonderful. I recommend.

Super leilighet i fantastiske omgivelser. Positiv og hjelpsom vertinne. Hadde et kjempefint opphold i vakre Eresfjord.

La comunicació amb la Synnøve va ser molt bona, ens va deixar entrar abans! La casa impoluta i molt acollidora. Si vas amb maletes tingues en compte que Google Maps et portarà per unes escales molt empinades, busca una alternativa! Per tot el demés genial!

Die Unterkunft befindet sich im Erdgeschoss des Hauses von Anna und Robert. Der Blick auf die Berge und den See ist wirklich schön. Jetzt im Sommer ist der Garten schön grün und der Hot Tub sehr zu empfehlen. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten, etwas zu unternehmen. Hannah und Robert geben super Tipps etwas zu unternehmen. Man kann sich ja eine Woche oder länger dort verbringen. Wenn wir noch einmal in der Gegend sind, werden wir wieder bei Anna und Robert übernachten.

Great place for a family holiday. the house has amazing views over the Fjord and mountains. so many activities in the area, such as hiking, via Ferrata, Skylift, Zip lining, and water activities. Our host Haldor was very friendly and a great help, he arranged 2 excursions for us, fishing and a visit to his family farm. the house is clean, spacious, well equipped with all modern amenities, and has a great location close to many attractions in Norway, such as Geiranger, Trollstigen, and many more. I would definitely recommend this place for a large family.

Kristin is warm, super friendly and proactive. Made us feel right at home :) House is nicely curated and has everything you need. Just 15 mins from the city centre, gives best of the both worlds - peaceful and yet all the places are easily accessible.

Grete Marie ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. man hat alles, was man braucht. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und man hat eine tolle Aussicht. Es sind nur 5 Minuten zum Atlantic Way. Grete Marie is a great host. You have everything you need. The house is very quiet and you have a great view. It is only 5 minutes to the Atlantic Way.

Die Unterkunft entsprach meiner Erwartung voll und ganz. Hervorragende Lage, ruhig in hervorragender Umgebung. Einmalige Lanschaft mit besten Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Angeln und Entspannen.

We had a lovely stay at Eddie's cabin. We had plenty of space, a beautiful view, & everything we needed. The cabin is quietly situated in a valley close to the most amazing mountain & fjord scenery. It is a calm & tranquil place to return to after a day in the mountains. Hope to return one day.

Wonderfull house with a big garden located directly on the lake beside a nice river. Highly recommended for families with nice playing area and private garden with very nice view on the lake

Lynn’s cottage, on the fjord in Ranvik, was the perfect location for us to visit family nearby and also Molde, the Atlantic Ocean Road and Kristiansund. We enjoyed the sauna on arrival day and… who doesn’t love a hot tub in the cool morning air?! Our stay was lovely!
